My first trip to Walla Walla surprisingly ended up being super chill and highly relaxing and fun. My bf booked us a few nights at this b&b and we both had never stayed here nor heard about it before. Girasol Inn is everything you want in a B&B…nice hosts, beautiful rooms, gorgeous location, delicious homemade breakfasts and a cute hypoallergenic big poodle named Sooki.(I like dogs :)) They are conveniently located about a 10 min drive from downtown Walla Walla and there are a few wineries within walking distance. Not too far, not too close, perfect. Rooms are lovely and clean and the bed was so comfy! I loved the sheets so much that I bought some pillow covers off the internet. In the morning, the hubby of the dynamic duo makes a delicious breakfast. The guests staying there are all invited to eat together.(there’s only 3 rooms so it’s not a huge party but rather a great way to meet some other fun travelers) It was such a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend others to check them out.

We stayed with Edward and Michele two weekends ago for two nights. I wish we could have stayed longer — what a fantastic place and wonderful hosts! Michele is very knowledgeable about wine and the local wine scene and was able to steer us to lesser known boutique wineries with terrific wines. Edward is a professional chef and provides an outstanding breakfast — we had a wonderful quiche the first day and an amazing smoked salmon eggs benedict the second day — along with fresh fruit and freshly baked scones. The rooms are modern, extremely clean with comfortable king size beds and very nice linens. There is a private terrace off each room with a little free standing fireplace all loaded and ready to go. The front terrace is warm and inviting and includes comfortable lounge chairs, a hammock and a large outdoor dining table. We can’t wait to return.

Absolutely outstanding inn/b&b. Beautiful venue; rooms are awesome; sits in a vineyard with spectacular views and sunrise/sunset opportunities. Outside of town so secluded and quiet(occasional dog bark). Soochi, the resident labrodoodle is entertaining. Innkeepers Michele and Edward are spectacular; attention to every detail. Edward cooks a mean breakfast. Michele very, very knowledgeable about area wineries. Would stay there again.

We stayed two years ago, just a month after Girasol opened, but looking at reviews on trip advisor it looks like things haven’t changed. Lovely location, lovely rooms, lovely hosts. A BYOW afternoon get-together on the patio with other guests was the icing on the cake. Two years later it’s still a very fond memory. Right in the heart of wine country.
