Victor T 2÷4÷15 This company has the most atrocious customer service I have ever encountered as an adult consumer. We purchased a wood insert back in November 2014, and as of February 2015 it is STILL not functioning properly. We have called them out for repairs at least three times each time it’s basically take a spot in line, we’ll get to you. They even called and had one repair appointment changed three times. Not sure about you all but we are working people so that means we had to adjust our schedules three times. So they the visits begin, one to replace the thermostat ON A NEWINSERT, once after that because the repair affected the operation of the damper lever(too tight, had to re-adjust), once again after that because the blower fan adjustment wheel was not tighten and fell off several times making it frustrating to adjust the blower fan. And now, AGAIN the fan has stopped working. Not sure if it’s the blower fan or the thermostat, AGAIN, called the company on February the 2nd and they instantly told us we can’t come out until February 20th. We call them back on the 3rd of February to see if this date could be expedited only to be told they will have to order parts for the fan. I guess a part of my frustration is I’m not sure how they determined that it’s a new blower fan that my unit will need. No one has come by to troubleshoot to ensure they would be ordering exactly what they would need… Oh I get it they want us to call them back AGAIN after they install the new blower motor and the problem turns out to be the thermostat AGAIN. I think it would enhance this outfit a great deal to EDUCATE its technicians and re-train its office staff. The owner states that she«strives for all our customers to be totally happy with their purchase»; well according to the Unilocal complaints, we must not be the customers that she’s referring too.

As expected, Tri County Hearth and Patio has never responded to our complaint. We wrote a detailed letter with pictures of the mistakes two months ago and have never even received acknowledgement of the letter. Furthermore we filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Tri County has ignored them completely. So congratulations Unilocal,apparently they care enough about you to post on your website. But actually respond to a customer complaint? Too much work.

Chris, Mike, and Dairen did a fantastic job with the removal of our old wood stove insert and installation of the new insert and chimney liner we purchased from Tri County. The guys were on time and ready to work. They were very considerate with making sure to keep the house clean and protecting my home from damage while they worked. The guys were very efficient in getting the work done. In under 2 hours everything was completed, clean, and a fire burning in my stove. Their knowledge, work ethic, and customer service was very much appreciated. To top it off we LOVE our new stove. Thanks again!

Biggest rip off people going. Over priced and charge out of line service calls for shoty work they did in the first place. Look elsewhere if you are smart. And never try to call them. They use the phone system there to lock you out if you have a complaint.

Best pellet fireplace store ever. Had one installed that i bought from here. Havent had a problem since i purchased it.(8 yrs ago). I tried to purchase cheaper pellets(BJs & Sams) and used them for a month. You end up with 30% dust in the bags. Never again!!! The pellets from Tri-county are the best quality.

I Love this place, I have a pellet stove, that a technician named Chris put in, he was great!!! All their employees are certified and do excellent work.
