Great fish tacos, pork tacos, table side guacamole. Bloody Mary’s, and for kids the Green Flash is GOOOOD… Price is fair.

Incredibly poor, poor customer service. My wife and I were seated, provided menus and water and sat for over 20mins after we reviewed the menu and we were ready to order. It seemed the two female waitresses that were covering the area we sat in didn’t know who was covering our table. One seemed more interested in standing in the kitchen and eating while talking to her co-workers. I get it that when you work hard, you need to grab a bit when you can… but when you plainly display poor professional service… that’s just bad, so we stood up and left. It gives the beautiful Hilton Waikoloa a bad rap… what a bummer!!!

I stopped in for dinner famished. I know this is hotel which is why I didn’t have high expectations. On suggestion of waiter I ordered the pork tacos. Being from Texas I have seen every taco type but none like these! Black beans were luke warm, the rice with carrots and peas was uneditable but the tacos(which should have been the star) were horrible. They had seriously OVER salted pork on them and watery pico with little or no attention to draining the water off it which made the taco a wet mess. However my biggest complaint was that the tortilla was cold and never cooked! I ate barely half even though I was famished. For the high price you would think more than 5 minutes to prepare my food was warranted. If these guys just took 5 to 10 more minutes of attention to their food they might have a decent taco but since they have no clue I would avoid this place!

As someone said. Food is blah and unreasonably expensive. Beer on tap was not cold. Dessert was so bad — my wife didn’t even touch after one spoon. Ordered chips and salsa(said Fresca) but came with pica di ga instead. Salad didn’t feel fresh. Improve the quality guys!!!

Centrally located near the towers, it was an easy stop for drinks and food. However next time I’ll just walk on by. I realize I’m at a Hilton in Hawaii so I expect the bill to be a little pricey. But the service should have outshine the price and it did not. They say«you are on Hawaiian time, so relax,» I get that, but when the birds are taking over your table because we’ve been sitting there waiting FOREVER for that 2nd beer; it’s just ridicules! Three people are working and the crowd is very lite. Maybe Hilton should spend more time training customer service within their onsite restaurant.

Very expensive and limited menu. Two adults and two kids 7 and 11 and it was $ 80 with tax and tip and that was just for food. It’s conveniently located by the ocean tower but honestly not worth the money. The service was bad as well. The only thing I liked was the feral cat that visited me during lunch so that I wouldn’t need to waste food.

Stopped here for lunch, by myself. Sat at the bar, had a margarita and the choose your own tacos(I picked one shrimp, one fish, and one steak). The tacos came out quickly, but I thought they were rather blah. The steak and fish seemed kind of dry. I realize everything in Hawaii is more expensive, but for $ 26 for the tacos, I would expect them to be pretty darn good(but maybe not knock my socks off good). I’ve made better tacos at home. Margarita was good, which it should be for the price. No free chips and salsa(which is fine, just stating for those who might base their decision on this, since it’s common at Mexican restaurants). Went here early in my stay and definitely made a point not to go back, and discouraged others from going. Location and ambience was nice.

We got free guacamole accidentally so that made our dinner great already. Service was great as well. I had nachos, they were so epic. The guac on those was more salty so I switched from one to the other. My friend had a burrito and he said it was better than expected, just like my nachos. We didn’t hear the best reviews about Mexican food in Hawaii so glad we made the decision to try for ourselves.

The fish tacos were the worst I’ve ever had. Totally tasteless. Hubby enjoyed the chicken tacos and my picky son loved his steak burrito.

Staff had no bar awareness, waited over 15mins until we had to point out we had empty glasses. And we were watching the live football and the bartender(Annie) turned the volume down. Poor customer service in a high end resort.

Do not waste your time, the food is not authentic or even good, the service is as lackluster as the food, over the years you would think that Hilton would care? Apparently they are not looking or listening!!!

Amazing food & ambiance !! Ordered the nachos, pig tacos & fish tacos. Everything was delicious and the service was on point definitely will be back again and highly suggested place to go to if you’re hungry after swimming all day! The portion of the nachos was big and almost every chip had something on it. I hate when places give so much chips and so little toppings I rather have quality over quantity. Highly recommended. My brother had the pig tacos and he loved it & ate it all. My uncle had the fish tacos and enjoyed it as well. Drinks were also yummy !!

We had the chicken and pork tacos. A bit pricey for what we got but the food was good for Hawaii Mexican. Taco’s were very meaty but the portions of beans and rice was small. And remember chips and salsa are extra. Enjoy!

This was definitely my favorite dining outlet at the Hilton Waikoloa complex. If you coming from off property, don’t bother because it’s too much of a hike but if you are staying in ocean tower, boat landing is the best spot for cocktails. Visit Eddie the bartender who is a sweetheart and never forgets your drink. I can’t comment on the food but I definitely loved the vibe here.

Don’t waste your time or money! Lackluster service, sub par food and little to no ambiance. We were staying at the Marriott a couple doors down and decided to check out the Hilton’s restaurants for dinner one night to change things up. We should have just stuck with the Marriott’s restaurant, which was 10x better. We ordered chips and salsa as an app and the chips tasted stale and the salsa right out of the jar. The fish tacos weren’t much better — they came with a spoonful(yes, spoonful) of dark unappetizing refried beans and Spanish rice all for $ 18.

5 star customer service but the food was horrible. For starters we ordered the chips and salsa for $ 7, shrimp empanadas for $ 13, drinks and the kids meals. The chips tasted like they may have been cooked twice. The salsa that came with, I wouldn’t even consider salsa. It was more like diced up tomato and onion with a bit of cilantro and a little bit of lime and water. The shrimp empanadas were pretty bland, definitely not something I’d order again. Everything on the kids menu was atrociously dry, no substance, no quality. I tried to cheer the kids up with two orders or churos. It was disappointing, the churos were crunchy, not in a good way. My husband and I decided not to order entrees after that. Our bill was $ 88.50 and I left a $ 15.00 tip. Can’t blame the server for the terrible food. Unfortunately, this is the only restaurant in the ocean tower. I liked the out door dining type setting with the boat access, that’s pretty cool. This restaurant is full of potential but at this point, a bit of a waste. Until they make some changes, if you’re staying at this end of the hotel, you’re better off getting hot dogs, watermelon & turkey wraps from the Kona Pool Bar.

Surprised the reviews are that bad. everything in Hawaii is expensive plus you pay for the convenience of not having to leave the resort to get a bit to eat. Was this the best meal of our life or this trip … well no. but it was fast and ok. Had a couple drinks and hoped on the boat to head back to our room. Very please do not have to go find something after running around the island snorkeling all day.

Nice place with good atmosphere. Looking for something simple and easy and it was. Pork Tacos were ok. Tons of pork that was juicy and tender. No real taco flavor though. Black beans and rice were ok too.

Gosh I was really hoping for better service and better food. Being that we could see this restaurant from our hotel room and it looked fairly decent we thought we would give it a try since we were hungry. First off, our waitress definitely did not like her job. She couldn’t be bothered with her tables and her sloth-like movements were very obvious to many of us. After we ordered she delivered salsa and chips pretty much the same time as we got our meal. We ordered a couple of simple dishes and it was just that. Don’t expect anything wonderful. Its plain A-ok. The ratings from fellow Unilocalers are spot on– which is why I always turn to Unilocal!Just forgot to check Unilocal before we went here. Oh well…

Awesome food at a great price considering resort location. Had 2 Chicken Tacos with rice and beans or $ 13.00. Steak tacos were similarly priced. Quesadillas were only $ 9. Open atmosphere that was right at the boat landing. Very nice. Highly recommend this spot.
