Every time I come into this location all the workers seem to a soulfully HATE their jobs. I was getting ready to punch in my PIN number when I payed with debit at the register and the lady Dorris told me to hurry up! Thinking that I heard wrong, I said«excuse me?» And she repeated herself. Telling me to «hurry up» again. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing as a customer. I had a lot of items that I was buying, and after my transaction went through she gave me the receipt and called the next person in line. I looked and her and asked her for a bag for all my things, she then groaned and rolled her eyes slamming all my things in the bag, and that’s when I lost it. I started to tell her how unprofessional she was being and so on. Never in my life have I experienced such bad customer service. Why isn’t there a no star button again?

No stars for this location. 711 clerk(Filipino chic; FOB) assumed I had given her an EBT card and laughed when she made the mistake. Seriously? She shouldn’t have assumed just because I’m local, besides I was in my company uniform which should have told her I work so EBT card holders have that privilege. I really shouldn’t be upset though, I make more than her in 1 hour at my job than she does all day at hers lol. But seriously, don’t assume!!!

This location is one of three 7 – 11 Hawaii stores that serve the Waianae and Makaha residents. This store is diagonally across of the United States Post Office. I like to refer this store as 7 – 11 Makai since it is on the oceanside of Farrington Highway. This 7 – 11 Hawaii location also serves as an alternate store to get a monthly bus pass, magazines, gift cards, as well as word searches. I remember one night after I got off of work I wanted to drink some Smirnoff Ice. I checked the 7 – 11 Mauka first and found out that they did not carry the alcoholic beverages. I then headed to 7 – 11 Makai to check if they carried the 6 pack that I wanted… sure enough this store carried the Smirnoff Ice 6 pack bottles. The few times that I have been in 7 – 11 Makai… the employee was very friendly to me when I purchased my merchandises. Sometimes it feels like there’s only one person working since there was only one register open. The other employees were busy stocking the cooler or doing paperwork. I also like to stop at this store because it is within walking distance to a bus stop in case I have to do other errands in Waianae or if I want to head out of the country and head eastbound to Honolulu. This location is also within walking distance to Pokai Bay Beach. For individuals who have vehicles… this location has only two gas pumps… best to get your gas at another station before leaving Makaha or Waianae. By the way…7−11 Makai passed the Board Of Health inspection. That’s a plus in my books.

I think its the best 7 – 11 leeward side hands down. So what if they don’t have a public restroom ive never seen a convenient store that does anyways, not even in the mainland. There is one across the street on the beach and 7 – 11 conveniantly sells TP. The staff is polite and helpfull. Only thing is watch out for long lines on 1s of the month SNAP week and end of the month when it runs out. 40oz good price and they sell King Cobra that enough is worth 5 stars to me.

Well its a 7 – 11 what more can you say. Its all about convenience. The people here are friendly. Its really busy in the early mornings. All you see is florescent green shirts in the store. I guess all the construction workers come here before work. The only thing that bothered me was the homeless guy asking me for money at 6am. Maybe I should have given him a dollar after he picked up rubbish in the parking lot. Hey! I’m giving him a job! I cant believe that someone gave this 7 – 11 only 1 star because their was no restroom. Which 7 – 11 in Hawaii has one? Dis not the mainland!

As a visitor to the island I find it sad that they do not have restrooms for customers. I made a purchase of filling up my rental car. The cashier was rude when I asked if they have a restroom.

it’s usual as a 7 – 11, but they sell regular gas, i mean without ethanol, it’s 20 cents more than the regular w/ethanol, do any other stations sell it? also this is the 7 – 11 mauka side of the road, same side as graces
