Love this location for numerous reasons: easy off and on to I35, friendly staff, lightening quick service, food was hot and correct. I could continue. Long and short of it-this is a great location that does it all right.

The food was hot and fast… What else can you ask for? My husband, daughter and I ate here after the Dr. Pepper museum visit and we paid $ 16 in all. I think that’s pretty good. The service was friendly, although I could barely hear the mumbling boy at the counter. I’d recommend the brisket combo. If I ever choose to visit Waco again, I’d go back.

Agree with the other reviewer: this really is the world’s best Taco Bueno. For whatever that’s worth. LOL

The measuring stick for how all other Taco Buenos should taste like. So, my girlfriend and I were visiting Waco recently for the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum(meh.) and the phenomenal Cameron Park Zoo. We needed someplace to eat and stumbled across this Taco Bueno on the way back from the zoo. We’ve been a little weary of Taco Bueno in the DFW area recently from all the poorly prepared food we’ve been experiencing, but this place was right on the money(as far as taste goes). I have two complaints though… Speediness of the service. So we stood at the counter waiting for someone to greet us, acknowledge us, whatever for easily 3 – 4 minutes. They saw us for sure, they just didn’t say anything to us till they got close to finishing up a drive-thru order. Having items available that are being promoted. Really, you’re in the middle of the tamale promotion and you’ve ran out? Besides those two issues, I have to say that it was refreshing to eat quality Taco Bueno again.
