Consistently delicious burger for low cost. I love the whole grilled onions on the burger. And that animal style sauce is addicting. Finally. An in n out on Waco!

This was not my first In-n-out experience, as I have been to establishments in Pasadena, Westwood, and Dallas. But for me, the Waco location lived up to the high bar set by even the L.A. originals. Was it as good as in California? I don’t know. That’s hard to say, as everyone’s first In-n-out burger tends to be their favorite. But it’s definitely worth a trip if you are in the area, that’s for sure. Double-double with well done fries and a chocolate shake is my go-to order.

Have been waiting for years to try out an In-N-Out. Every time I’ve been near one in California, the lines were too long for me. My wife and I went inside here in Waco and it was crazy busy too. It took a LONG time for the food due to the crowd, but what came out looked amazing. Probably the first time I’ve ever seen a perfectly dressed burger where the pictures actually match what you get. The taste was OK, but nothing spectacular. I had a double double and she had a cheeseburger. A nice burger, but nothing I’ll dream about. The fries were a disappointment. For being cut and prepared fresh, I would say they were the worst fries I’ve had in a long time. Didn’t even want to finish them. Overall, an OK place but I would not go out of my way to eat here again.

I always love going to in n out but the wait in the drive through lane was a little ridiculous considering that there wasnt really many people inside. I ordered animal fries which are usually delicious but this time it was disappointing as many of the fries were burnt.

Having Moved here from california i have missed this place. I am visiting Waco for the weekend and this has been the highlight of the weekend. Food is simple and good. The end. Staff is friendly courteous and industrious. Fun to watch them. Now, I’m going to devour my food.

As always In and Out doesn’t disappoint. The kids got grilled cheese and we got burgers animal and protein style. Everything was great, the kids got the hat and stickers :) I will always recommend this place to anyone :)

I’ll have to admit, I was really nervous about checking this place out after all the hype. But I felt hunger pangs at 10:30am today, and figured it was the ideal opportunity to pay homage to this icon. The interior reminds me of a modernized 50s diner. Very clean and tidy. Yes, there are hordes of kitchen staff – maybe a dozen scurrying about with the energy and vibe of over caffeinated barristas! I placed my order for two Double-Doubles. Yes, I was hungry. And despite the army of cookers, it still took about 10 minutes for my order to be turned out. I carried my order to the bar by the sun drenched window with much anticipation. I gazed up to the azure sky for inspiration, glanced at the gorgeous burgers and said a prayer – gawd I hope they are good. I pulled back the wrapper, gaped my mouth wide to the sound of trumpeting angels, then sunk my teeth into the cheesy goodness and promptly fell off my cloud… The first thing I noticed were that the meat patties were slivers. There was a decadent cheese cap drooling out the side lasciviously and was balanced somewhat by a heavy serving of lettuce, tomato and onion. My first bite oozed with cheese, and was very cheesesteak-like in flavor. The vegetables were very fresh and the tomato surprisingly ripe and onions crunchy. But it was the cheese that kept seducing my attention. The tiny patties were more like accents as they were seasoned aggressively but too insubstantial to make a strong presence. If I closed my passport eyes and opened my mind, it felt like eating a BLT melt but with beef. Another bite and I went into a cheese conniption. The experience had evolved from anticipation, to cheese heaven and then over-driven decadence. I honestly did not love the second half of the experience because I am not really a cheese monster. In the end, I think there are other burger joints in town that serve up old fashioned burgers that are all about the beef. Yet, if you adore melty cheese; or want a small meal or a snack, this place delivers.

Ok! Finally Got a chance to try this place out! I’ve heard so much about it and was wondering what the hoopla was all about. Now I understand. It’s simple and easy. You have 3 combos. That’s it. Choose your combo and you get a great burger with fries made from real potatoes and a drink. The burgers are simple but really good. And it’s so easy to get in and out. Everything is smooth and easy. The dining room is all in red and white and clean and laid out well! They have these little peppers that pack a kick to ‘em! But they fit! When we were there the place was hoppin’! It kinda reminds me of a Chick Fil A but with burgers. Same courteous and efficient customer service! I wish they would open one in Sugar Land!

The best, cheapest burger I have ever eaten. Even if the drive through is packed(which it always is), the line goes very fast.

A little bit over priced for what you get, and a bit over rated, but good food.

First time eating here and more than likely the last… Got inside, the service and atmosphere were good and all was okay until I started eating. The fries were way overcooked as well as the burger. The burger patty is very thin and not flavorful. The only good part to the burger was the bun. I went through three cups of water trying to get the food that I had just spent $ 11 down so that it wouldn’t be wasted. Live and learn, oh well.

Burgers: taste fresh. Small portion but filling for awhile. Often times the meat is pink if you split the burger in half, maybe due to being so busy but I want my burgers cooked completely. Fries: taste like peanuts… whoa guess it’s the quality/type of oil used. Drinks: never taste super fresh but okay. Overall though, it’s still worth it.

Burger is small but good. The bun is about the best I have had anywhere. The price is very good. I would skip the fries, overcooked and not much flavor.

Boy, talk about excitement. This is the first time I have seen a fast food place be «THE social scene». You walk into this place and it is like walking into a Taylor Swift concert with Taylor giving autographs. The house is packed with people pouring in the door. Nine million people are working in the kitchen. Morale is sky high … Not a single sulky«this job sucks» minimum wage slave in the place. The Baylor In-N-Out is a bigger deal than if the college football championship were being played in McLane Stadium. I went in and being on a diet, just got a cheeseburger, nothing else. Then I look and see that everyone else is eating French Fries and having a wonderful time. The fries are the worst looking things I have ever seen in my life … white, pasty, boxy, looking almost unfried … and people are inhaling them like they are a combination of Haagen-Daz, Godiva Chocolate, the best movie popcorn ever and cocaine. I am thinking … this makes no sense. How can something that looks so awful being making all these people so totally totally happy? So I order fries … Possibly the only time in my life I have ordered a dish because it looked terrible. I got the fries — and they were as awful as they looked. I ate exactly two … and could go no farther. So I am thinking — has everyone in Baylor gone out of their mind? Then I had my burger — and the Angels Sounded Their Trumpets. I — like everyone else in the place — Heard the Triumphant Call of the Hamburger Choir. The Burger was a total gem. A marvel of fast food. The burger did not make the fries one molecule better … but I can see how the burger could put everyone into a world of happy sappy pleasure — All signs are that the Baylor-ites intend to eat at In-N-Out all the way until Armageddon and the Rapture. At the Rapture, The good will continue to get In-N-Out hamburgers. The unrepentant will be condemned to the French Fries forever.

Even though Waco has just about a million burger places around this new In n out burger this burger is different than the others. This burger is decently priced and you get a lot for what you pay for. This burger takes me back and reminds me of cookouts with my family and just humbles me for some reason. Sometimes you don’t want a greasy whataburger sandwich you want just a good sturdy burger that’s not too complicated and this is what you need. The dressing they have on the burger is awesome too. I don’t so much like the fries they’re pretty basic and blah but I do know some people who like them that way.

In-N-Out is the best fast food burger you will ever eat. The staff is always friendly whether it’s an in-n-out in SoCal, Phoenix, or this new one in Waco, Tx. I am always extremely satisfied when I’m at one.
