Victorian Savories Bakery

Can be pricey at times but you pay for what you get. I would walk just to get a hot chocolate and an orange every morning before school. The staff is always friendly and inviting and do what ever they can to satisfy you. I highly recommend.

I made a second trip this morning to this bakery and it was a completely different experience. I was happily greeted by a smiling young man who warmly welcomed me to the store. He asked me if this was my first time to the store, and then walked me through some of the pastry offerings. He told me it was his mothers bakery and he was helping out. I ordered a latte and banana bread. Everything was very tasty and he was super friendly. This is a great little shop and if you are anywhere near it, you should stop in for a treat!!!

Victorian savories absolutely perfected that pie and now I can eat no other. My husband got me the chocolate mousse pie for my birthday but he asked they do a shortbread crust instead and it was absolute perfection!!! I can not wait to try their other pies!!! Kudos Victorian savories in my opinion you guys make the best pie in Jersey and Philly and I have sampled some of «the best».

Wonderful local bakery/​coffee shop! Went in for breakfast this morning and had amazing breakfast sandwiches. Took home several pastries and they are superb. Vicki, the owner, is fabulous and friendly. She had several recommendations and seemed very interested in getting feedback from us. Will definitely be back. Everyone go visit, so they stay in business for years to come!

Pretty bad latte. Way too expensive. And the young man behind the counter doesn’t know whether they have sugar free syrup or not??? And 4 bucks for a mediocre latte that is the same size as Starbucks small is also pretty pitiful. I’m sure they have great baked goods but they shouldn’t over-​reach when it comes to making coffees and espresso drinks. It may have been the kids first day, but if they want to attack the type of clientele Starbucks is happily enjoying, they need to step up their game. No wonder it was pretty empty. I’ll give them another chance later this year to see if they’ve picked up their game. It’s a shame because it seems like a nice, cozy place to hang out.
Update…I received a response from the owner and that is always a plus for me. I will try the place again. Having owned a business myself, I know that you can always have an off day.

The choices are diverse and appealing, drawing in every taste imaginable and nipping every appetite. I look forward to future experiences with this bakery and encourage everyone to make a visit!

I am from California living in South Jersey. There is a fresh strawberry pie my family loves that I haven’t seen in local bakeries or stores.
I called and placed a special order, she looked up the pie I normally ordered in So Cal and made one very similar. Not only that she asked for a specific pickup time so the pie would be as fresh as possible.
It was fantastic and reasonably priced. When I picked it up I was impressed with the location and received superb customer service.

Wonderful oasis in sub-​urbania. Homemade warm from the oven scratch lemon scone and a hand-​pulled latte. Love. Lovely space inside and out. Friendly service.

Love love love the atmosphere of this place. The coffee is great and the pastries and things are yummy too. Call to check the hours, I think they’re a bit different than what Unilocal lists. A great local alternative for when coffee works over on haddonfield rd is just too loud

Welcome to one of the newest additions to the Voorhees Town Center. I recently came to Victorian Bakery and Café after visiting one of my favorite local burger shacks, Burger 21. The woman behind the counter warmly greeted us as we walked in and patiently awaited our decision while we eyed up the delicious looking cakes and pastries.
Although I only had a cup of coffee, I did try a few bites of cake (red velvet I think) and it was sweet, moist, and tasty. The coffee was also hot, fresh, and pretty inexpensive (at least compared to Dunkin of SBux). I also really enjoyed the open space. Even though I was indoors, I felt like I was outside since the curtains were up and it was a nice sunny day.
In a nutshell, the Victorian Café is yet another fine addition to the Voorhees Town Center and is a local coffeehouse/​bakery that I plan on visiting again once I am in the area.

Visited early on a Saturday morning, bring along my toddler. They were very accommodating, bringing us fresh muffins (try the cinnamon strudel ones) and coffee as they were ready. Food was really delicious — I had a bacon cheddar quiche, and my toddler inhaled a slice of banana bread. The owner told me that the baked goods are made fresh, no preservatives. Purchased chocolate chip cookies to bring home. Will definitely return.
Also noted the other was very accommodating to other customers — it was really and a fresh pot of coffee wasn’t quite ready yet. She told the customer to drop back in for an upgraded size once it was brewed.

Decent iced vanilla latte.
Fantastic Caramel Macchiato and cookies to die for!
Great quiche and tomato basil mozzarella wrap!
Great space with comfy seating and good music.
Friendly service.
BUT, NO WiFi?! Hello! It’s 2014! What café/​coffee spot doesn’t offer wifi?!
If they had WiFi they would get 5 stars!
