Yummy Authentic Chinese food. Really good. Best around. I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken with noodles. Not expensive.

I recently moved to this area and was craving for some Chinese. I’ve had the kung pao tofu which was good but not great, I prefer a sweetish tinge so I cut some points for that, but I took noodles with the kung pao and that was delicious! I’ve also had pad Thai noodles here and it was excellent. This place is cheap and worth the money, the portions are good as well.

Ehhh. Food is okay… Service, walked in, as my husband and I are ordering, the young woman was being rude.

The egg drop soup is delicious, it’s hard to believe it only cost $ 1! We ordered the sesame chicken and the servings are huge! We will definitely be back!

Ridiculously good value! I only go for their lunch specials which are different everyday. With the lunch special, however, you get a TON of food! They seriously don’t skimp on portions here. All for under 9 bucks? Sounds good to me! The egg flour soup, noodles, and rice are good. Entrees can be a hit or miss, but overall not too bad. Crab rangoons are delicious as well. This is definitely one of my go-to spots for lunch.

Hated it. I felt dirty after eating here. I got the spicy beef and it tasted like soggy beef jerky. The noodles were flavorless and the rice was dry. Also, the seats were incredibly lumpy and the tables were wobbly.

What a great place! Cheap but good food, the people are nice, it hit my craving straight up. Just make sure they know where you are sitting because they dont have an order numbering system or anything and sent my soup to the wrong table.

Fast, fresh, flavorful, large portions, reasonable prices! Cashew chicken, orange chicken, garlic shrimp, shrimp fried rice, egg rolls, and crab rangoons were all delicious. Tired of mexican or pizza go here.

THEYNOLONGERDELIVER. :-(And the girl answering didn’t suggest pick-up or anything. So much for getting food from here again. I’d rather get something else if I have to go out. bummer…

So being from l.a. I would expect great flavors and more variety in menu items. But in the case of chinex it’s not so vibrant… The sauces are very bright or very dark which gives me the impression that it’s not scratch made or fresh. The food is boring, and way under par. I’ve been cooking for over ten years professionally and this place does not fool me. The ambiance is bland and depressing, and with old and worn wallpaper of some sort of plants peeling off I could call it tacky. The fountain drinks are awesome thought.

If you are looking for a quick place to grab a bite to eat Chinex is a good place. Everything is made to order and the portions are a healthy size. I ordered the chicken fried rice and the plate was rather large. I am glad i was hungry so i could eat it all. If i wasn’t as hungry as i was then it would have been enough for two meals! I will for sure go back and try some of the other options they had to order.

We have ordered for pickup twice for my company. Everytime we order here the lady on the phone is very nice and helpful. The food is always hot and fresh. So far we have had the orange chicken, sesame chicken, noodles, pad thai, egg drop soup, potstickers, and the crab rangoons. We have no complaints! Best Chinese food! You also get a lot of food for a low price. We never have to wait, the food is always ready when we walk in. A hidden gem for sure. We will forever be coming back. Tasty tasty!!!

Firstly, it’s inexpensive Chinese food, not gourmet. I’ve been eating here for 4 years and I keep going back. I’ve only ever eaten it as take-out even though they have a decent size area for eating in. My order has never been incorrect and I’ve always been treated with respect. What’s there to complain about?

Considering the situation of Chinex, this place is as good as home. I grew up in Beijing, China and I even worked at this restaurant for a while and it will always be my favorite. The reason why we don’t deliver is because the owner, John, likes to help hire local girls(sometimes in highschool like me) with little/no experience and when we did deliver, It got very dangerous with reports of sketchy people wanting food and we were just too young to be delivery to dangerous neighborhoods. Not to mention the fact that it only takes minutes for food to be ready. It also says we close around 9, but occasionally we close early when we haven’t had any customers in because we literally cannot afford to stay open when no one comes in. The chefs are all from China who can’t speak any english and I’m afraid Chinex might go out of business because of lack of money! The food is so delicious, and like any fast-food restaurant it can be a challenge to get EVERY order correct, especially with the language barrier(I never faced that as I am fluent in Chinese). This place was like a home away from home to me because I spent 11 years of my life in China and it really breaks my heart seeing all these bad reviews because we do try. To get orders right, and food good. If you didn’t like the place to begin with, I really encourage you to try it again with an open heart. If you did have a bad experience there, then the staff was either really busy, or just having a bad day and we all know what that is like. I really do love this place and I hope others will too because they try and satisfy everyone.

Been here about three or four times now. The food is ok. Prices are pretty good and they give you a lot of food. One thing i will say is that the menu is not very big. Finding good chinese food is hard around here! but for the price its ok.

It’s hard to find Chinese fast food with good fried rice. Usually the fried rice that comes with it is bland which makes me end up just getting white rice. Hey, it’s better to get something you expect to taste bland than something to end up bland when you expect flavor. The fried rice here is tasty and I could eat it alone. I would suggest eating here as the portions seem larger. You will get a huge plate of your ordered dish with a separate huge plate of rice, fried rice, or noodles. The orange chicken is good as is any of the black pepper dishes. All are decently flavored. The beef and broccoli is just OK as are the cream cheese wontons. You usually get a drink with your order. It doesn’t say that though. Sometimes they tell you and sometimes they don’t. I’ve gone many a times where my coworker will get a drink but they don’t tell me. It took me awhile to figure out why. They just forgot. It’s hard enough to find decent Chinese food. For vista, this is good enough for Chinese American fast food.

I so don’t enjoy giving bad reviews but, I felt it necessary to express my disappointment in my recent experience here. First frustration: Website indicates that they deliver but when I called, I was informed they do not. Okay no big deal. Sadly, the food was not worth the 3 minute drive. The sesame chicken was so rubbery and chewy I literally could not process it. The noodles were way beyond overcooked and had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. Same went for the egg rolls. Bland is an understatement. We barely ate any of it(and that was only because we were utterly famished) but almost all of it went in the trash. An absolute waste of $ 30. We will never return.

Yikes! A co worker of mine suggested this place twice. first time i ordered orange beef, the beef had visible freezer burn on it, no flavor and bits of the rice were burnt, hoping that is was just that one time we tried again. this time i got sesame chix. and chow mien. chicken was scary to eat… and got us both sick… ugh put me off my fav type of food for at least a month, scary!

This is one of my favorite Chinese take out places. They always have a special that include some dish of that week and then they include cream cheese wontons and egg drop soup. The first time I got the special I didn’t know the dish I got was the special for that week and I thought they were hooking me up with the soup and wontons. :P I eventually caught on, lol! The place is clean. The food is consistently good. They have great choices. Good quantities and pricing. No complaints on service. Have yet to find another Chinese take out food place that compares. My fav is there sesame chicken. :)

My boyfriend and I came in here this past Friday night around 815, aware that it closes at «9». Before we even had the chance to order our food, the girl at the register said«just so ya know we close like soon so were gonna be closed soon» I was thrown off by the rudeness of her comment, I’ve worked in restaurants for a long time and you know to never make a guest feel so unwelcomed. Our food came out promptly, it was decent as usual. It was about 8:30 when a family came in, walked up to the register, and the girl at the register said«um just so you know we close soon so you can only order Togo» the family walked out, obviously they had all gotten together to eat a meal together, not to be brushed off because they were there 30 minutes before closing time. I cannot believe how rude and disrespectful this girl was. She began mopping the floors and rolling her eyes looking around at the four different groups eating their meals in the store. I’m not sure if the owner has given permission to kick people out 20 minutes before closing but this place will not last if it’s kept up. As we walked out, I said to the young teen who apparently had somewhere to be, «when do you actually close?» She said«like 845ish or 9». If you claim to be open until 9, it is so absolutely ridiculous to let your employees push people out because they don’t want to be working until 9 on a Friday night. I guess that’s the service that comes with a place that hires little girls who are still in high school.
