Panda express always hits the spot… but this place. wow. The flavor was there. but the portion was not. I was not happy due to the size and pretty much forgot to take a pic. Err. Would not visit this location again. /thumbs-down Oh yea. It’s was the bowl I got. Normally the bowls I get touch at least the lid when closed. this one didn’t even get close to the lid. I didn’t order a kids meal…

I eat here a lot and couldn’t be more unhappy with the service I’ve got here today. The food was fine but the service in the drive thru was horrendous. And I wasn’t the only one with issues. Everyone in line was sending back food and kept having«discussions» with the drive thru gal. Zero stars for this if I could. However, I’ve giving this place five stars because of the action from the manager. She came over with a smile and said she could absolutely do what I was asking to do.(Give my son an extra side with his kids meal — which I have done a bazillion times at this same location) Thank you so much. Couldn’t appreciate it more!!!

I’m giving 5 stars because it is by FAR the best location of all the Panda chains in North County. Their staff are friendly, smiling and will help you fix anything that’s wrong. Panda Express is obviously fast food but for those looking for good locations of Panda, this is it. They also have a very efficient drive-thru.

Doesn’t open until 10:30 on Sundays even though web says otherwise and they like to argue about it. Not good for people like me who like my orange chicken really early in the morning. But I still love panda regardless

Don’t usually leave bad reviews but this time I had too. The lady at the window took my order correct but I received the wrong item, my broccoli beef was just broccoli, my kung pow chicken was the bottom of the barrel. She did offer to give me the correct item but what I didn’t like was she stuck my trays out the window opened them to showed me both orders. And this is after she repeated the order at the window and still got it wrong

Typical Panda fare… not excellent and not bad, like all of them I’ve been to the food is hovering at the«fresh and pretty good» level… But the employees here merit a review… I’ve never seen any employee happier to be cleaning a table or sweeping the floor… my typical lunch break is 15 – 20 mins. and in that time I had 3 employees walk past my table and ask me how everything was… THATISOUTSTANDING!!! These people are not working for tips but still took a minute to ask how my food was… also noticed that all the employees were smiling and friendly… I probably make 3 times what they do per hour and I am not that friendly at work haha!!!

I learned this a long time ago. When someone goes to taste something. You have to wait for them to put it into their mouth first. Before you ask them how it tastes. Yesterday. The manager asked if I wanted to sample an item. I said yes, she gave me a piece. Right after that, before I could put the thing in my mouth. She goes into choi main or rice??? Um I haven’t even told you how my sample was! From there the whole experience went south.

I just enjoy giving a business 5 star rating. I have been here before many times and never gave a review. Which I am happy to report/review it was an excellent visit! That wasn’t the case during my past visits, but I am here to rave about my current visit. There was a friendly greet as I walked in. I glanced through the glass guard as a customer ordered. I had my eye on the yummy Crying Tiger, but it there was about a 1 person serve left in the display. I asked if I could get an order from a fresh batch, and they complied with no attitude. While I waited they offered a sample of one of the new dish. Also, I was offered spring rolls while I waited for the dish. The gals were apologetic when a customer had to wait(it was a brief wait even). As I was waiting another customer had come in with a problem with an transaction. She apologized kindly to the customer and even offered a comp drink. I think management took on two great employees, I found they were excellent in their customer service. Oh, I guess I better mention how the food was. I had the Crying Tiger and the Beef Broccoli and it was fresh and tasty. Of course I came in between 11 – 11:30am so the food was fresh. Great service, great food, two thumbs from me.

I ordered 22-entrée plates and when I arrived home and opened up my food, one of the sides was wrong(ordered white rice but received ½ chow mein and fried rice). So I drive all the way back out there and bring the food with me. I enter the restaurant and politely explain what happened. Instead of offering to remake my plate since it had now had the chance to get cold, they instead give me the smallest possible size of white rice. Won’t be returning anytime soon with that kind of service.

As good as it gets! This location exceeded all my expectations in terms of service, food, and atmosphere. Let me explain. I walked in for lunch on a weekday around 11:30am, right before the lunch rush. I was immediately greeted and welcomed with sincerity and enthusiasm. I was hungry and was a bit of a grump but they quickly took care of that. I ordered my classic panda bowl(half chow mein+fried rice) with their orange chicken as an entrée. When it came time to put the lid on my bowl, all the contents were squished down because the server had gave me ample portions. So I was greeted, my order was taken, and I have just paid for my food. Time to go find a seat, right? Well I go to select a seat and notice that each and every table had flowers in small vases. WOW. The flowers were fresh, not fake. That put me over the top. So to the Panda Express in Vista(Sycamore Ave) thank you for doing such a great job with customer service, quality of food, and maintaining a nice restaurant. ALSO, this location has a drive-thru if you’re in a hurry and want panda on the go.

Great food as usual… and they have a drive thru! Pretty fast service! I ordered the orange chicken and it’s great! Not soggy mush like some restaurants can be! I also got chow me in and a side of the chili sauce!!! Yum!

Second least favorite Panda Express. Smallest portions I’ve ever seen in my life, and everything on my plate aside from rice and teriyaki chicken tasted as if it’d been sitting for hours. Gross! Then, the employee copped an attitude when asked why my, and my sisters’ orange chicken portion sizes were so different. I had four pieces of orange chicken — FOUR! I’m not into this place. I want them to get it together.

My friend and I order the 2 entrees with a side at $ 6.59 each and two tap waters. I give the girl a $ 20 and I get back $ 1 and change. Throw it in my purse and don’t think about until we are ready to leave. The girl said(whom was hard to hear because the noise level in this restaurant is very high with the blowers going) each entre was $ 1.00 more because it was«premium» I looked up at the picture of it on the lighted board… it says nothing about being $ 1.00 more or premium. The temperature was not hot also. I feel like my reasonable $ 6.59 lunch is not worth $ 8.59. Our tab would have been in the mid $ 20’s if we had had a soft drink. I’m going to contact the company also regarding this.

This is one of the local Panda Express locations near where I live and next to the gym I go to. The food always tastes fresh. There is plenty seating inside. The workers are nice. They have a promotion… buy a $ 25 gift card and get a free entrée. Good deal if you go to Panda regularly.

I don’t always eat at Panda Express, but when I do, I’ll drive out of the way to go to THIS location. They’re like the flagship of the county. A bit of management-ordered upselling. A bit of «try this» sampling even if I’m allergic to half the menu. But high volume means fresh. Enthusiastic staff. Rice Kings get 1 or 2 stars max. Panda Express never gets less than 3, and this location is a solid 4 as far as fast Asian food. You can count on it, compared to its niche competitors.(Meaning steam table presentation, non-self-serve, cafeteria style.) Fresh ingredients. No nasty gristle/fat surprises. Good work, Sycamore!
