It has been awhile since I have eaten at Panera. My mother and I went to the Panera in Visalia because we wanted to eat ‘healthier.’ I ordered the Pick 2– BLT sandwich with chicken cesar salad, chips, and a drink. I also ordered the lemon drop cookie. My mother ordered a salad and chicken noodle soup. My food was amazing. I ate it all! My lemon drop cookie… O M G, there are no words to describe its deliciousness. It was soft and it had lemon chips! I slowly ate it because I kept wanting to save some for later, until there was no more. I would go back… and order a bunch of lemon drop cookies.

I like how they always seem to have something new when I come in. I love that you can half sandwiches or salads. It’s packed sometimes but that all depends on when you decide you want to eat. Also, great variety of pastries to choose From.

Used to frequent here quite a bit until they changed their salads. Not this particular location’s fault, but when I ordered my usual salad recently, I was very upset. I made specific customization requests to my online order and did not get what I had ordered, I called and spoke with a manager regarding my concerns(in addition to professionally voicing my overall opinion on the new salad I was not happy with) I was promised a voucher to make up for the troubles. It has been two weeks and I still have yet to receive anything. Haven’t been back since and won’t be for quite awhile if at all. This is very upsetting to me as I have experienced some great service here in the past. Since we seem to have a manager that can’t take care of loyal customers with a concern and now horrible salads, there is nothing left for me to order except soup, sorry, won’t be eating soup in 100 degree weather.

Didn’t go there to eat… just to grab a job as I had just left the military. They interviewed me THREETIMES! Almost certain that I got the job. The regional manager even said he’d call me and he absolutely wouldn’t leave me hanging. Well, he left me hanging. Its a struggle. Even the GM has HUGE praise for military veterans and even HE told me he’d definitely put a good word in for me. Thanks anyway, pal!

I love the atmosphere! Their coffee is by far the best I have tasted and the fact that you can combine different flavor makes it even better and refill it! The staff are nice and the pastries are delicious. Love their sandwiches too! Great place to have a nice breakfast or lunch with the family, friends or even just relax by yourself

Had the Thai soup. So delicious. Friendly staff. I really appreciate that they sell cold pressed beet juice. I usually juice it myself, but when I’m traveling this is a good alternative.

Normally this place is great. However, the staff doesn’t enforce basic hospitality standards with its clientele. Today not one staff member said anything to some who brought their pet dog into the place(Not a service dog). The dog smelled and ruined my meal. Also, lots of people with no manners dropping the F bomb loudly… common people, protect the family environment!

Ok where do i start… i drove 20 minutes to come here. Located in busy area i tried getting here by 9… i walk inside place is so clean looks busy… smells great… i would of given this place a 4 star if my cashier would of been friendly… I felt rushed and she seemed annoyed by my order of spinach artichoke soufle. I think her name was melina… i love asking questions about menu anywhere i go… i sat down & i couldnt help look over at the other cashier next to her… wow such a friendly cashier named gabby. bubbly friendly welcoming personality… i had to walk up 2 her as i was leaving and tell gabby her smile sparkes good energy… Beautiful smile…

Quite honestly, it’s not the food that makes Visalia’s Panera worth going to. It’s he staff and management. The managers at this Panera constantly do their best to make sure customers are pleased.

This is the SPOT on a Sunday in Visalia! I came here for a meeting, and this place is perfectly located right off the freeway on Mooney(isn’t everything on Mooney). They have all the basics and a REALLY big patio with heaters! I sat in this Panera for 3 hours, and maybe, 4 people went out there!!! Why aren’t people eating outside??? This place was crazy busy(inside) on Sunday. But I guess that makes sense, you feel all warm and cozy after church, and then you want to accompany that feeling with a cup of and broccoli cheddar soup!

My family loves Panera Bread, but this particular location always gets our order wrong. They are making our food in too much of a hurry & not reading their tickets. I ask for no mayo every time and each time my sandwich gets a ton of mayonnaise. Today we got home and my sandwich had moldy avocado that wasn’t even cut up. Just a giant slice of moldy avocado. My husband asked for a baguette & they sent him home with an apple. I would understand if this was a one-time thing, but it happens every time.

Always enjoy eating here! With a big family, it’s always great to find a place where there’s something everyone really enjoys. Sandwiches are great, my favorite is the Napa Almond Chicken Salad. Their Mac & Cheese is AMAZING! The perfect comfort food! My youngest daughter absolutely LOVES their Broccoli Cheddar Soup & Strawberry Poppyseed Salad. Their breads & sweets are all delicious as well. Definitely one of our favorite places.

Ahhh not bad The Mac n cheese was pretty tasty Ceasar salad was a little dry and anchovy ish Pasta primavera was good just not great. Could use some shrooms and red onions and salt n peppa What really broke my heart was they took away my favorite dish the onion soup in a bread bowl was what I was craving and the whole reason I forced, coerced, cajoled the entire family into coming here. So sad

I love coming here when I want something a bit more healthy for about the same price that you’d pay getting a Big Mac Meal from McDonald’s. The breads here are always AMAZING, but the only thing that I don’t like is that sometimes I feel like I am having to SCREAMMYORDER to the person at the register because it gets so loud. Sometimes they play music too loud, sometimes people in the cooking area are yelling at each other… and then on top of that, the customers have to talk louder to one another just to be heard over ALLOFTHATNOISE. It’s definitely not a place to go to enjoy a quiet lunch, that’s for sure. But beyond that… the food tastes amazing.

This location is clean and usually on top of the service. I been here a few times just never checked in. I love the outdoor seating. The food is simple and clean. Nothing out of this world, but nothing I would make at home. I love that the place is good for study groups and business meetings. And to the manager, she is always on top of checking everything. I usually see her helping everyone out and willing to step into any position to help.

Ordered a to go order for 5 people. I ordered a cream of chicken and wild rice soup and a Greek salad. The soup was mushy like baby food. Horrible consistency. It was severely over cooked and had too much flour in it causing it to be super thick. I was just mush. The Greek salad was underwhelming. It didn’t come with Greek dressing though best instead it came with something that tasted a bit like Greek salad dressing but was white and creamy looking. That’s not Greek dressing. Overall the food is petty underwhelming. The food is a one star quality but at least they were polite on the phone. Since the food is better than eating a mcdonalds I decided to include another star. Wouldn’t recommend. Won’t be back for food. The pastries and bagels seem good, maybe I’ll return if I happen to want a bagel.

Great lunch. We have two in SB now(one brand new) and my boyfriend thinks the menu is confusing so we never go. We went today, however, on a break from his Visalia conference and he loved his Thai chicken salad and French onion soup. The bread – simple, plain sourdough – is out of this world with some butter. Most of the sandwiches, soups and salads are healthy choice meals, compatible with a healthy diet or weight loss regiment.(Obviously, if you’re watching weight, you want to forego the desserts and bread.) This one is far more efficient than the ones I’ve been to before and I think it’s a great everyday lunch or dinner place. I ordered the shrimp soba noodle salad(new) and the cup of broccoli cheddar(not one of the lower fat or calorie items but worth the splurge). He ordered the large salad with cup of soup and I had the YP2(smaller salad and cup): it came to 26 for two because mine was I think premium salad with fresh, flavorful shrimp. I’m going to start going more often when in SB and in San Roque or Upper State area. Solid food at good prices.
