Bad vibe in this place. Super drunk at the end of the bar. He literally got into a verbal argument with another patron. All the while the manager and bartender were not more than 10 feet away from the whole episode and did NOTHING. The place was not busy, so you couldn’t help but notice the raised voices. Super uncomfortable. Food was mediocre at best. Martini was overpriced with shriveled little olives and ice chips floating in it. Not a fun place.

Went in with girlfriend for a beer and dinner. This place is going WAY down hill… Wings were cool to cold, almost like the came out of a box from the freezer. Beer was cool not COLD. Also to the owners… whats up with all the rowdy bikers hanging out here now, NOT good for our area or business. There are much better places in the area, give them your hard earned money and skip this place.

Not sure how they’re getting the 5 star ratings, but I can’t imagine why they are receiving them. Went a few nights ago. Rowdy crowd at the bar, more dive types than what you would expect at a place like this. Happy hour sucks, drinks are week, food menu is way over priced for the area. I sure won’t ever go back. There are much better places in the same strip center. Save your money…

Hello Manager/Owner! Could you please check your web site link on Unilocal?I clicked on the link to see what they offer and a Japanese match making web site came up. What the heck? Is it really that difficult to make a web site in English? Hummmmmmm… guess so.

Awesome little family owned and operated restaurant with a nice little bar area mostly filled with a few of the regulars. The food is great and the service is amazing. The prices are a little high but you are paying for a wonderful fun environment. They have live music a few nights a week which starts after the dinner crowd leaves and they do a nice job of not over powering he atmosphere.

I’ve been a regular and loyal Fresh customer since they opened in 2005, but it’s been deteriorating over the past few years and after tonight’s experience I will not return. There was a fantastic coffee shop run by a wonderful Iranian woman in their space and we were very disappointed when we learned she had sold their space. However, when Fresh opened we were excited about their great concept, fantastic food and exceptional martinis. We quickly became regulars and enjoyed countless great experiences for many years. Unfortunately the food, service and drink quality have been going steadily downhill over the past two to three years, and after tonight I’ve had enough. Tonight the owner herself was managing and tending bar, and when our drink orders were a mess she refused to make things right. What’s worse, she wouldn’t talk to us, avoided the situation and placed the entire issue on the shoulders of our sweet and innocent waitress who was mortified while only trying to do her job in an incredibly awkward situation. It’s a shame, but fortunately there are a lot of great new places in our area so we have many alternative options.

The name says fresh but there is nothing fresh about the food or the service here! If you want to grab a drink before a movie be sure to sit at the bar because your server will not come to you. We ordered two appetizers and two entrees and they all came out at the same time. All of the food was overpriced for what it was. I think everything comes from the frozen aisle at the farm fresh right there. This place survives solely on the local alcoholics that hang out there.

We went this past May on a Friday and it was pretty dead except for the karaōke guy and two drunk couples at the bar. The food really didn’t seem very fresh to me, it seemed more like microwaved frozen food? The waitress was nice, but the place was more of a neighborhood bar rather than a restaurant.

You can’t buy happiness but you can buy wine and that is kind of the same thing… The BF and I came here for a date night and wanted to try something new. We have driven by here several times a decided to give it a try. Upon entry the place was busy and had limited seating so we sat @ the bar. The usual of mix of people were there, we all know them: Drunk couple making out at the bar making awkward eye contact, mid-aged drunk man yelling for me to order a shot and then there was us… I ordered a glass of Riesling or 3, which ended up being really good. Not too sweet nor bitter. I was hungry but not starving so I ordered an appetizer. I decided on the mini cheeseburgers which were delish! They had bacon and melted blue cheese, my mouth loved them. There were some times when people walked in and immediately walked out. I think because it is a smaller place. I love new places and glad I gave it a try…

Super disappointing!!! Fresh Tapas & Tonics used to be one of my favorite spots to stop in for a drink and some good eats. Haven’t been in a couple years because I moved to the other side of town. Well, tonight my husband(who had never been there before) and I stopped in for dinner on our way to Sandbridge for a photo shoot. The whole way to the restaurant I was raving about how great the food was and how much he was going to love it! Unfortunately, it was not the experience I had talked it up to be! Service was SUPER slow and there was just us and another table in there at the time. My husband ordered the special which was mashed potatoes and fried chicken with fresh squash and zucchini. I’m so glad he did not BITE into the chicken and opted for cutting it instead because it was RAW. COMPLETELYRAW! I ordered the lasagna… which was pretty good… but the whole experience with the chicken was AWFUL. When I told the server she said«EEWW…sorry.» Didn’t offer to get my husband anything else OR take it off the bill. I had to ask for it to be removed. Needless to say we will NOT be going back. EVER.

We went one time, once was enough. There were about 10 people there when we walked in, so I thought awesome, this should be a quick in and out experience. We had our 2 year old with is, so quicker is usually better. We were greeted quickly and told to grab a seat. Our server started out pretty good, explaining to us that she’ll bring out everything as its done, not all at once. Neat. Okay. We place an order within the first ten or so minutes of getting there. I’m not kidding when I say we waited thirty minutes without food or the server’s return. We saw her walk by, so we stop her and ask where is our food? Something. Anything. She’s going to check. She comes back to say the cook walked out and NOBODY noticed. Umm WHAT?! So we wait another 15 minutes and the two things I ordered come out, 10 more minutes until my daughter’s kid’s meal, still no food for my husband. He was ravenous and suuuuuper angry. He ordered a burger and after all was said and done, it took over an hour to receive. During all this time, bar patrons were walking in and out of the kitchen. The server discounted our bill 20%, but I feel like we shouldn’t have had to pay that much. Our service was terrible, our food wasn’t even GOOD when we finally did get it, and the manager didn’t even stop over to apologize. 1. How do you not realize the cook walked out for at least half an hour if you’re checking to bring the food up as its finished? 2. Once you finally notice there’s a problem, don’t ignore the table because you’re embarrassed or upset. You’re just going to anger them. 3. Be apologetic. Send a manager over. Don’t just tell us what happened and then take a couple dollars off our check. Ridiculous. Never ever again. Never.

Great service but the food was not what it used to be. I remember when Fresh Tapas and Tonic opened in ’05. This is now Fresh Eats and Drinks and it’s just not the menu or food I used to rave about. Change isn’t always good.

My husband and I stop in here about twice a month. We enjoy all the Christmas lights and cozy atmosphere of the place. They have live music on weekends starting around 9 I think. We ran into that a few times and enjoyed the jazzy type feel it added. We have only ordered the tapas and house wine which were for the most part surprisingly good. The nachos are fabulous as well as the Thai beef and chicken wings. The cornmeal crusted shrimp is a good idea and tastes ok but they need a higher quality shrimp.

My hubby and I went here for a quick stop. It was so much fun!!! The bartender was off the hook and also from CT. Met a few great people with tons of helpful info. Menu was good and had a variety of choices. They have great bands as well. Would go again.

We thought we would stop in for dinner before a movie. When we walked in we had the most unfriendly welcome. The owner was sitting at the bar and couldn’t even stand up, she just asked«how many» from her stool. The waitress was wearing a tank top two two sizes two small which gave us a lovely view of her tattoo. The food is average at best, frozen dumplings were the lowlight. The steak bites were smothered in cream. This place used to be a special little place, no more! I’ll never go back.

The only thing that brought us to this place was a LivingSocial deal. This was also my boyfriend’s first tapas experience and I’m ashamed/embarrassed to have taken him here-what a terrible experience. When we first got there no hostess was in sight however the place was fairly filled with most people sitting at the bar. We were finally seated what looked to be the waitress. Later on we saw her mingling with a group at the bar taking pictures and then smoking outside — I should have worked here. When we finally ordered food we sat and waited for about 10 minutes until the waitress came out to tell us they don’t have 1 out of the 3 dishes we ordered. I went to order 2 additional dishes. We sat and waited for 10 more minutes and she returned to tell us they ran out of another dish we ordered. Once again I changed my order and called for another dish. Sadly and incredibly enough she returned for the 3rd time to tell us again another one of our orders was not available. When we finally got our order in we continued to wait for at least 20 – 30 minutes sipping on our drinks and talking about how long we’ve had to wait and had nothing else(bread or something) to munch on. The first dish finally came out and we were starving-crab cake which surprisingly had more crab in it then I expected… not bad but nothing amazing about it. Then came out the steak bites which had a thick white cream sauce smothered all over. We ordered medium rare and it came out medium well. Too hungry we just ate it-not that great and I would definitely not order it again. Then came our spinach and crab dip-all cream sauce and little crab and spinach, had a bit of sour taste. Finally our lamb chop dish came out and again not cooked to order-we called for medium and it came out well done. Very small portion and it had this green mint jelly sauce… the asparagus was good! Overall, terrible experience and insignificant food… all they said was sorry and thank you for our patience. Never coming back here again. Expensive, terrible service and highly dissatisfied experience.

First of all, there were all of 3 tables that had customers and we had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. There was a whole room of empty tables and 2 waitresses and a bartender. The table where we were seated was incredibly wobbly. It took the waitress 10 minutes to figure out how to put something under the leg to keep it from tipping over our drinks. We’re not talking rocket science. Had to ask for silverware.(Remember, this was an almost empty restaurant at 8:45 p.m.) Menu is very limited. We choose 3 tapas: 1. Bread Spreads 2. Caprese Salad 3. Thai Beef My partner ordered a Cosmopolitan off of the Martini list. Instead they brought her a short(very) cocktail. She ordered«The Sailor» as her second drink and they brought her«The Pirate». Hmmm… I guess they both sail the seas. The tapas were bland and uninspired. Even though tomatoes are in season, these were definitely«store bought». Forget«fresh» veggies at «Fresh» Tapas. The Thai beef was overly salted and the noodles were overcooked. More cashews than beef. For $ 40.00, I could have had a nice steak and a Down Under Rita Margarita from Outback or an Italian dinner and drinks from Primos, two good spots right up the road from Tapas & Tonics. We won’t be back.
