My engagement ring/​wedding band is by far my husbands proudest purchase. It’s also by far the most expensive thing he has purchased and personally the most sentimental possession I will ever own. I have had my ring nearly two years now– Thank GOODNESS for David and his team of compassionate ladies, because they have gone way above and beyond what you would expect in not only customer service, but their true understanding for your particular situation and willingness to work with you– something so rare. Any issues I have had, they have exceeded my expectations to make me happy and work with me. My husband had no idea how to go about buying my a ring and they walked him through every step. When you choose them, you will quickly find you are a customer for LIFE. So glad he didnt ‘go to Jared’ or anywhere else that is a chain. No way would I have had an experience worthy of wanting to take time to spead the word. Men, I speak for that special someone in your life and when I say, you will not be dissapointed and neither will she if you choose David Nygaard!!!

My husband and I went ring shopping before we got engaged all around the Virginia beach and Chesapeake area of Virginia. I had terrible experiences in every store BUT David Nygaard! In the other stores all of the employees were very pushy and didn’t allow you to have a thought or like of your own. When my husband and I walked in to David Nygaard, we were welcomed by Lisa who we fell in love to work with! She allowed us to look around on our own, and the best part was the open glass show cases! We were able to pick things up on our own and try them on! After searching, I found my dream ring! My husband and I decided to make a few modifications to the ring. A few months later he popped the question and the wedding planning was a go! The ring came out just how we asked it to, but unfortunately I did not love it as much as the original. It took me a couple of months, but I finally admitted that this wasn’t the dream. We took the drive back to see Lisa. I was extremely nervous, but she was SO nice and SO helpful and understanding about this issue. She immediately put in the order for the original ring, and she allowed me to wear the showcase ring until mine came in! We can’t thank her enough for all of the help she has given us! We still go back every now and then to get the rings checked, but we have also enjoyed the friendship we have made with Lisa! I HIGHLY recommend David Nygaard!!! Their professionalism, love for their job, and helpfulness made our experience one that we will never forget! Thank you!

Just stopped in to look for wedding band options and was stunned by what they can do and selection. Liza was very helpful and emailed me quotes for my ring and options for my fiancé within a couple hours of my visit. My fiancé was impressed with their selection for men and we ended up leaving with his ring! The best experience we have had in a jewelry store, and we have been in a lot trying to find our perfect wedding bands.

I wish I got this young ladies name… I went in there to sell some old gold I had laying around and honestly was dressed like a bum. This young lady made me feel like she viewed me as her best customer. She was so friendly and professional, she even explained the process to my daughter that could not stop talking! Just amazing service! I feel like I got a great price for my things and next time I am looking to buy anything, I will be buying from David Nygaard.

I’ve had a great experience with David and his staff. I had some pieces repaired and sold some gold pieces. I will use him again with my jewelry needs.
