This is one of my secrets to great, memorable gifts… weddings, birthdays, showers… they’ve got you covered. I love the customizable painted wine glasses available for all occasions – they do need a little notice if you need a name painted on there. Cheese plates, serving platters, unique picture frames and so much more. Take a few minutes to be distracted by the jewelry too. They do eye-​popping and fun gift wrapping… when you walk in to your party, everybody will be oohing and ahhing at your present! And, make sure you stop in for Christmas – really all the seasons – they always have the neatest and glitziest decorations and ornaments.

I came into Simply Selma’s at the last minute before a big fancy Unilocal event looking for a dramatic necklace to wear with my gown. Two friendly ladies helped me find the perfect necklace, I paid for it and I left for my party. I love that place! Everything is sooo pretty!!!

This is my go-​to spot in VB if I need a quick gift! They have gifts for EVERY occasion in their store. Over the years it has become pricier making it not a great spot for inexpensive gifts. I rarely get out of the store for less than $ 50. You can find everything from home décor to holiday themed items, a baby shower gift to one for the man of the house, and anything from kitchenware to jewelry — it’s all here. They have lots of special gifts that can be personalized. You better be they will be on my wedding registry one day.
The best part of Simply Selma’s is their GIFT WRAPPING! It’s phenomenal! You always know a Selma’s gift because of the wrapping. They have the most colorful paper and bows! I never want to throw the wrapping out.

Have you ever needed to purchase a gift for someone you don’t know very well but really want to impress by getting something that looks unique and expensive? If so, then Simply Selmas should be your first stop. Similar to the Mole Hole, Simply Selmas is a high end gift shop. From lovely picture frames, to monogrammed baby blankets, Simply Selmas has gifts and trinkets for the person who has everything or the person who may have everything but you don’t know them well to know.

I love this boutique. You can find a great gift for anyone at any price. Here are some of the gifts I have given that have gone over well:
Wedding:
Initialed stationary set, matching calling cards and personalized magnetic frame. The frames have an assortment of really cute magnet letters and images to choose from. Really fun to build and customize one for your recipient.
Baby:
A silver beaded feeding spoon and matching china bowl. Very elegant, useful and a nice keepsake.
For a friend:
An adorable wine glass with shoes all over it. They have a variety of themes to choose from.
There are also more expensive glass items in the store. It’s so fun to look around. Anything you pick out will be very personal and unique and your friends/​family will really appreciate the thoughtfulness behind it.
They do all the dirty work too… gift wrap and boxes are included. And you can pick up a nice card while you’re there. Very simple.

I must add my kudos for Simply Selma’s.
If you are in search of a cool, unique gift you won’t find most anywhere else around VB or Hampton Roads, you can count on Simply Selma’s.
It’s one of those places that you bring a girlfriend and both of you spend half the time going, «Hey, look at this… isn’t this [insert complimentary adjective here]?»
I especially love ogling their jewelry, which is a nice mix of classic looking pieces and funky, trendy things. They have really cute baby stuff and holiday décor, too.
I will say it’s a pretty girly shop. Most guys probably couldn’t wait to leave. But is that a problem? Nah.

Definitely a fan of this shop. They have the cutest, and funniest stuff around. Definitely go there around the holidays! They have the cutest ornaments, and gifts around. They can be a little pricey… depending on what you are buying… but definitely have some neat one of a kind things here!

If you are looking something unique, this is the place. Whether for gifts or for yourself, they have the cutest and coolest stuff, and such a big variety! Jewelry, housewares, decorative items, baby gifts, wedding gifts, etc. are all packed in. The prices range from very affordable to higher end, which I appreciate. You can still get cute things without spending a ton, but if you want to be more extravagant, you can do that as well. Overall, a great place!
p. s. Check them out at Christmas time — they have the coolest ornaments!

Why I love Simply Selma’s:
1) The have ridiculously cute & unique baby stuff (perfect for a last minute bridal shower gift) which leads me to #2…
2) This store has gifts for every occasion. When ever my husband forgets to tell me about a birthday party or some other event where I’m expected to bring a gift, I always go to Simply Selmas. They have hand painted wine glasses, serving platters, Christmas ornaments, picture frames, baby stuff, bridal stuff, etc. A lot of their stuff is beachy, which I love.
3) So, the only thing better than having a go-​to place for gifts is having a go-​to place that wraps the gifts for you (for free)!! They do an amazing job too. They will wrap each item individually in stacked boxes with pretty wrapping paper & finish it off w/​ribbons tied all fancy-​like. LOVE IT!
