Service was very good, server was a little too attentive but it wasn’t very busy when we were there either and that’s not always a bad thing. Ordered a burger with no lettuce no onion, got it in a reasonable amount of time but it came with just lettuce on it. And this was after she came back out because she couldn’t remember if I said fries or chips. I get that things happen but considering there was only one other table with people and I was the only person at our table that ordered something and it was a pretty simple order, I guess I just expected it to be right.

Your typical«country”-style bar. Saw a band perform a couple of different times. The nice thing is, during busy, packed events here — they offer free valet parking. The drinks vary like your typical bar — way too strong or way too watered down. All in all we visit from time to time. They serve breakfast on the weekends(not sure about weekdays) which is alright — there’s never a crowd during those hours. Good corned beef hash, avoid the sausage gravy though!

This is my favorite place in virginia beach to grab a beer, have a burger and just hang out. The owners are super nice, and the wait staff is very friendly. It is a biker joint, but frankly the patrons are salt of the earth folks, frankly most are retired veterans like myself. Good to great food, cold beer, great owners and wait staff, and super customers. The ritz it is not(thank god), but it is a fun place.

I’ve only ever been here for AYCE wings on Monday and a few lunch specials. The place is what it is, a biker bar. But don’t be put off by that term. It’s nestled in suburbia so you’ll only see middle-aged bikers who are about as harmless as a puppy locked up in a dog pound. The burgers here are pretty good, about as average as any other place. I do enjoy the AYCE wings since it’s a decent price($ 10 I believe) and they’re pretty good. Usually this place is pretty packed any other day(horrid parking lot) but on Mondays AYCE wing night its usually dead, WIN.

Bone Shakers is something of a biker bar. If you ever come here on a Saturday or Sunday there are bikers coming in from a ride or eating and getting ready for one. This is a pretty good place to kick off a ride since it’s close to the Pungo area. I’ve actually never sat inside since it’s always been so nice outside the couple of times I’ve been here. They have a nice patio seating area and for the hotter summer days there are fans all around. For the colder windy days they have tarps that folds downs for some coverage. The waitstaff are pretty attentive. The food? I’ve never had better brunch. They have a brunch buffet and everything is just so good. Their pancakes have been smaller the past couple of times, but they’re so light and fluffy they’ll melt in your mouth. Biscuits and gravy are ok. Nothing special there. Love their hash browns and mimosas though.

This was a place I really wanted to try. Now I wouldn’t suggest it to my worst enemy. We, my family and I, were out during the week and decided to stop. We waited at least 15 minutes and got no service. If the place would have been busy I could have understood, there might have been ten people in total there, but apparently only regulars rate good service. This place needs to be on bar rescue or something. My wife commented on Facebook and the owner blew her off and deleted our comments from their page after crying about how hard it is to run a business. Apparently the owner knows nothing about customer relations.

I finally made it to Bone Shakers today and it has been on my list since I moved to Virginia Beach almost 2 years ago. They have EXCELLENT customer service, but due to my food allergies I have to give it a 3 stars. That is because they don’t have a set system to make sure they don’t use the same fryer that they fry seafood in for other foods like chicken wings. So I have a high possibility that if I order the wings or anything that is fried it will be cross-contaminated with seafood. That is so much of a risk for me. The manager and our waitress was very nice and helpful, but I just don’t see myself being a regular if I have to constantly worry about going into anaphylactic shock. Loved the customer service and atmosphere and it would be nice if they used separate friars for seafood, chicken, and fries/chips.

Food is okay… drink prices aren’t horrible… can be a rough crowd… bands are pretty good.

The place is a bit out of the way, or at least for those of us that only end up in Virginia Beach a couple a weeks out of the year. But, if your just cruisin’ around and sight seeing this a good place to stop for a drink and something to eat. The staff isn’t exceedingly friendly, but they are friendly enough where you don’t feel unwelcome.

This is the first biker bar I hit up when I moved to VAB. Everyone was friendly. There’s a lot of TV’s and they’re usually showing all the games. Cheap beer and food.

Cool biker bar with big outdoor porch area and live music. We went here after we couldnt get into the Nightmare House on Atlantic Ave. For some reason it closed early! We did some whiskey shots at the bar, and heard someone do a really funny impersonation of Samuel L. Jackson«i’m tired of these muthfuckin snakes on the muthfuckin plane.» We looked at the cool biker photos on the wall. Their sign is also cool, a logo made of bones.
