Overall not bad. Budget significantly more time on weekday early mornings. They usually have one person manning the store. Family all-time favorites: S’more Bombay Dhaba Old Georgetowner Milkshake: banana Nutella The training of staff and management need to improve.

Crêpe Amour has some of the best Tex-Mex Crepes made by authentic Tex-Mex cooks that I’ve seen in the Tex-Mex area of cooking Crepes. We’ve been customers since the Vienna location first opened years ago, and at first, those carefully handmade crepes just like you’d get on the Place de la Concorde in Paris that were warm, fresh, tasty, simple, and delicious. Then we noticed changes. The original cooks that were there in 2014 disappeared to be replaced by different cooks, with different skill sets. My last visit I ordered a simple sweet crêpe with lemon juice and sugar. I was amazed to see an entire lemon squeezed over the crêpe and then sugar sprinkled over, and then powdered sugar sprinkled over that. So, what I received was a soggy lemon sogged folded pocket of sugar. Contrast that with an authentic carefully made crêpe like you’d get on any street corner in Europe, where the ratios of lemon juice, sugar *carefully* controlled to create a great fusion of tart and sweet flavors. The next attempt was a savory crêpe. Ham, Cheddar cheese, and mushrooms. Batter was poured, batter was spread, ham was dumped in center along with American Cheddar cheese and at the end cooked mushrooms straight from the fridge. Fold and serve. One bite and it went into the trash. Don’t think we will be back unless they return to making more authentic crepes rather than a mish mash of cultural flavors.

Great staff. The place is tiny and has little accommodation if you want to eat and relax there for a bit. There are less than 10 seats indoors and pressure is on after you finish eating to give up your seat. The salty crêpe was adequate and the sweet crêpe was very candy like. We were visiting from SJ — SF area and the standards of crepes in the Bay Area is much higher.

I eat gluten free so the fact that they offer gluten free crepes is a big deal! I’ve been here 3 times this past year and every time has been spectacular. I plan to keep going back and bringing my friends with me to share the Crêpe Amour love!

Just as the 3-star rating states, «A-Ok». It’s not amazing, but it’s not horrible. The pricing is sort of high, and the crepes are okay. Some of the crepes are just underwhelming, but some are pretty good. It’s a hit or miss. I really like how you get to watch as they make the crêpe for you, and the fact that they are usually really accommodating for substitutions, the only thing I don’t like is the tastes sometimes. The crepes have an okay taste, and the actual crêpe itself has varying tastes. Some of the crepes are really dry because the meat in it is so dry. The Monsieur is pretty good but sometimes can be dry. I also tried the Turkey Avocado and it really had no taste. I really can’t put my finger on it, but it’s just an okay crêpe place. Maybe it’s because I’ve been spoiled by actually going to France and having their crepes, but this place is just okay. The venue itself is quite small so I am almost always forced to order ‘take-out’ so that’s somewhat disappointing. But, I can definitely understand because all the places in Vienna are so small!

I was quite excited to try this place with all the positive reviews. But unfortunately, I was disappointed. It’s like a crêpe imitation… If you’ve never had crepes, maybe this place will be good… The crêpe itself was chewy, like a few days’ old bread. The savory crepes have good toppings but the dessert crêpe we got for free was absolutely the worst crêpe I’ve ever had. If you’re going to give free crepes as a promotion, you really should make them great so customers come back for more. Good coffee though.

I love this place. I’ve come here so many times since I wrote my last review, and it’s fantastic! I must mention the milkshakes — they are rich, creamy, and oh so delicious. Best nutella milkshake ever! The peanut butter one is also amazing. Think five scoops of yummy ice cream with half a cup of either spread mixed with milk. So decadent and filling! I am very appreciative of the fact that no matter what you get from here, everything is made consistently visit to visit. They’ve got it down pat. Bottom line: go here for milkshakes in addition to crepes!

I had driven by Crêpe Amour multiple times and always wondered if it would be worth a try. When I saw all the rave reviews, I couldn’t wait to give it a go. Unfortunately, although the service was outstanding(friendly and really fast!), I was really disappointed in the food and probably won’t be returning unless they make some changes. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese crêpe, and my main issue was with the crêpe itself, which was too airy and chewy, like the batter had been mixed too much or too vigorously. The bacon was crumbled up pieces that were pretty hard, which made for a weird texture – kind of like biting into a crêpe filled with egg, cheese, and pebbles. I also split the Nutella crêpe you can get for checking in, which suffered from the same weird chewiness. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but based on this experience I don’t think I’ll come back.

I had the Bombay Dhaba and also had Strawberry patch they are both delicious, the wait time is long though but the food OMG! BEST Crêpe place I’ve been to and I love crêpe, their coffee is Lavazza which is one of the best coffee you’ll drink. I am writing this review as I am eating and I can’t wait to get back to my food. The place is small with 4 – 5 tables so be ready to stand and wait and also take out if there’s not enough space but this is a must try!

I was in the Tyson area and was looking for someone to eat breakfast. Originally, i had a different restaurant in mind but the wait was a little longer than I was looking for. Came across Crêpe Amour on Unilocal and figured it would be a quick stop. I got the Georgetowner Crêpe; egg, bacon, and cheese. I asked for an addition of avocado, but there must have been a miscommunication and it was not added. To me, that was not a problem, no harm no foul; definitely wouldn’t count that accident against them. Plus I wasn’t charged for it when looking at my receipt. The crepes were pretty big which is nice considering some places are a lot of money for a little crêpe. Very filling for sure, but this nothing I would travel out of my way to get again. Nutella Crêpe: I found out when I arrived that if I checked-in I also could receive a free Nutella crêpe. Being the Nutella lover that I am, I was all about it. Tasted good to me and again big size where that could be enough for someone. Nutella hot chocolate: I figured I would put the cherry on top of it all by getting their nutella hot chocolate. I think I would get it again, however they did serve this cup«boiling lava hot», as Jim Gaffigan would put it. It took about 15 – 20 minutes before I felt, literally, comfortable to where I could drink it. Very nice service, polite and friendly. Limited space available but they are well aware of that and put a little sign apologizing for the inconvenience it may cause. I would not have a problem with it anyway, but it was nice they acknowledge their situation.

The crepes are delicious, but using plastic utensils makes it difficult to cut them. Crepes, by nature, are not easy to cut, especially with the plastic knives on plastic plates. For those looking for a quiet atmosphere for the«amour» in the name would best be served by looking elsewhere or find a nearby shady grove for a picnic. There are only two tables and three bistro-style chairs along a wooden shelf. Very cozy.

Don’t bother going in early mornings. Usually only one person manning the store. I waited for 10 minutes and couldn’t even put in my order. Then the staff allowed someone to cut in line and get a coffee. Given the proficiency level, he took quite some time doing that too. Not happy with this place anymore.

This is a very small place and there was only one person working. I wonder what it’s like when it’s nicer out and there are more customers. The shop was nice and simple. I got a free nutella crêpe for checking in, but I added strawberries and bananas to it so that it was more filling. The crêpe was nicely made with fresh ingredients because you watch the man make it in front of you. It was delicious, but the only thing is that there is drizzle of chocolate and strawberry sauce with powdered white sugar that I thought made it a bit too sweet when there was already Nutella inside. Other than that the crepes were decent. The gentleman working was nice though because my friend ordered two crepes and he told us that once my friend was finished eating his first crêpe to then tell him when he would like the second one. That way the crêpe would be fresh and warm. Thumbs up to him!

My kids and I have been coming here since soon after they opened. Even though they have a selection of sweet *and* savory crepes, we pretty much exclusively get Nutella + strawberry/banana. My kids LOVE watching the crepes being made. It’s a small location with very limited seating. We’ve been lucky to get seats when we’ve come, but I think«lucky» is a very key term. I can imagine easily finding it full(as in, six people are already eating there). Admittedly, I haven’t been here in several months because I moved a bit further away, but I didn’t realize you got a free Nutella crêpe upon checking in. What am I doing NOT checking in and eating a crêpe right now?!! It may be time for another visit soon…

This little crêpe place is tucked away on Maple Ave. You might miss it if you’re going quick, so slow down when your GPS says you’re near. I tried the coconut crêpe(I forgot the name) and if you check in you can get a free Nutella crêpe! I must say, both were delicious! Oh get the Oreo shake… Mucho Delicious!

Convenient location, cool idea, but cramped space. Went here on a Sunday morning to have breakfast with my sister and her husband. Pro tip: the space is tiny, which is hard to tell from the pictures included on Unilocal that I looked at. There’s only 2 small café tables and a short bar, so be warned that this is not the best dine in experience. The food: I had the farmer Joe, a savory crêpe, and from checking in, we earned a free Nutella crêpe we decided to share. The farmer Joe was alright, the veggie fillings had a strange after-taste to them so I don’t think the ingredients were kept very fresh. The best part of both crepes was the crêpe itself. Whatever that batter is, it works well – semi sweet, fairly thick without become pancake-like. I could almost just be happy eating the crêpe by itself. The long story short: I don’t think I’d ever go out of my way to eat here again, but I’m around tyson’s area enough to pass by(and use my free crêpe from my check-in!) but I’ll probably stick to the sweet crepes

Came here with my husband to meet up with the little sister since this was a halfway point for us. I was not expecting the place to be so small despite the warnings, but we were able to find a seat for the 3 of us. The place already knows its tiny, but they do emphasize to make your crêpe to your expectations right on the menu board. I ended up getting the georgetown crêpe which had bacon, egg, and cheese inside. I have never had my crêpe folded into a square so this was a first. I loved how their crepes taste since it has a subtle sweet flavor to it. They spread the toppings of my crêpe pretty well so I had a good ratio in every bite. Thanks to my Unilocal check in, we also got a nutella crêpe. We split this among the three of us to complete satisfaction. The place could be a bigger hit with a bigger space, but I do believe they have a food truck that roams the area as well.

Who doesn’t love crepes? I ate here twice in the same week because I couldn’t get enough. I’ve only had the sweet crepes although the savory ones look just as appetizing. I’ve had the Madagascar, carnivale, and nutty buddy so far and all of them have been wonderful. This is a good place to catch up with friends although seating space is extremely limited(the only reason for 4⁄5 stars). The service great and the lady who works there is super nice.

One of my Sunday favorites places to visit, or any day for that matter! The staff are friendly, the crepes are amazingly good, service is always excellent. In the warm months, sit outside and enjoy a yummy crêpe with a latte! Gets a little crowded sometimes but hey, what do you expect for a great place like this? Highly recommend to check out. Come off peak hours(for a less crowded experience) :))

A big fan of crepes. I have tried crepes from all over the world including France, and the crepes are extremely delicious and different. I have no idea how they prep the batter but should say m impressed. Loved the coffees too. I wanted extra foam for my latte and the lady Who work their díd it exactly how I wanted. Should say both the lady and a guy were at their best service. The guy is so fast in making crepes, he was like The Crêpe Superman. .lol…extremely skilled. I havent seen someone this fast in making crepes. They also have a food truck, should try it in the future.

I absolutely adore this place. The crepes are all sooo tasty & they make it in front of you which is super cool. My favorite savory crêpe is the BOMBAY. Did I mention I drive from Maryland to have their crêpes? Yum! My friends are now hooked too. :-) The seating is very minimal, but for me it makes it feel quite quaint. Not recommended for large dine in parties, but cool for a date. Do yourself a favor – also try a slice of white chocolate cake around the corner at Cenan’s bakery. Yum too! Customer service is also a plus here.

I’ve always enjoyed going here to indulge in a sweet or savory crêpe. The staff is always very friendly and have been accommodating to finding a high chair for our toddler.(They grab one from the place next door). The crepes themselves are nice. Some of the staff tends to cook them a little longer than I prefer. The flavor combinations though are a win. Recently, I have had both the Fraise Amour which is Nutella and strawberries and the Dr. Seuss which is ham, egg, and cheddar. I was most surprised by the price. For both, it was almost $ 15. That’s a lot for a lunch without waiter service. The space is small with two small tables and a few bar stools inside and two outside tables which are nice during moderate weather. A great spot if you don’t feel up to making your own crepes that day!

I am a big fan of crepes, both savory and sweet ones. The sweet one has a lot of chocolate filling that I personally think it’s way too much even I am also a big fan of chocolate. The old Georgetown savory is very delicious. I would rate the food for 5 stars, however, this place is very small, so you may not find a table to sit down and there is no kids menu.

This is pretty much my go to spot when I’m not craving anything specific, and I need something quick. I’ve tried several crepes from here, and I would say my favorite so far is the Bombay Dhaba — it’s so true to flavor, and it’s filling! Pretty amazing. The Poulet Gruyère is also very delicious. The Nutty Buddy, full of rich peanut butter and hazelnut chocolate, is a great dessert crêpe to share. It’s super tasty and decadent! On the other hand, the Farmer Joe is bland, dry, and feels like a salad in bread — there’s no cheese, and the pesto is almost non-existent. It’d be nice to have the cheese as a pre-existing ingredient, and then be able to nix it myself. A «special» crêpe — the dulce de leche — is a total letdown. A premade caramel sauce is spread on the crêpe! This does not make a happy customer. So not worth it. I appreciate the attempt at diversifying the menu, but considering how interesting the main menu is, this«special» lacked some oomph. The parking can be tight, but people are constantly in and out of this shopping center. The establishment itself is very small too, so I would keep your party to two people max or opt for takeout. Prices aren’t bad for the amount of food, and the balance between sweet and savory options on the menu is awesome. I’ve already recommended this place to others, and I will continue to make trips here in the future. Bottom line: this is a great spot for a quick meal or dessert, and especially great for couples due to space limitations. It’s a nice departure from other«fast-casual» places that have become so popular lately.

Delicious savory and sweet crepes. I’ve had a variety and enjoyed almost all of them. I love the Bombay Dhaba best of all the savory ones. The sauce is too die for! Runner up is the other Indian-flavored option with potatoes and tamarind sauce. Kind of like a samosa in crêpe form. Being sandwiched between an Indian restaurant and a spice store obviously has its perks. And my favorite sweet ones are basically any made with Nutella! Another good choice is the one with mango drizzle. The smoothies and milkshakes are also good. I mean, chocolate banana smoothies can’t be bad, right? The place is small so either get carry out or come at an odd hour. I’ve taken the crepes back to my office and they’re fine up to an hour or so. After that they do start to get soggy.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner. We ordered and ate there. However I wouldn’t recommend it unless it is a nice day due to limited seating and they have extra seating outside. My crêpe was overdone and it just felt like a waste to it. I was happy because it contained lox but that was it for me. My husband’s crêpe was cooked to perfection but again it was just okay. I used Unilocal to check in and I got a free Nutella crêpe. Now that hit the spot. I think this place would be good for a dessert or snack but the savory crepes do nothing for me. Also be sure to check out their shakes because they are decent

Nice host and friendly service. They have good selection of sweet and savory crepes. I tried the sweet ones(strawberry, mango-strawberry, nutella) ones. All of them were good. They were crispy and delicious They don’t have lot of tables. few inside and one or two outside.
