Hole in wall joint but these can be the best places to eat. I had the Al Pastor and Carnitas tacos. Very good flavor to both and great service. Definitely a place to stop if you are in the area.

Got an al pastor burrito after my workout, no beans(hate refried), freakin amazing man. I love to try burritos from everywhere, and Tony’s is absolutely up there with the best. I would love it if they introduced black beans, but damn that al pastor was bomb

I’ve been coming here for many years now. Tony’s burrito hut has great food, a friendly staff and good prices. The flour tacos are huge and they’re the only place around this area that offers ground beef. The enchiladas are the best yum yum!!!, don’t forget to try the breakfast burritos and yes they serve them all day…

Beef can be quite wet, steamy, with a rather familiar character. Chicken is beef’s equivalent in some ways unless it has a scrumptious sauce, but pork carnitas may have an aftertaste that’s strong and a bit pungent. This whole restaurant in Sun Village is like a hut of old and new, and I can see the shadow of its address on a wall and great artwork by «no smoking» signs. The chocolate mints are very exotic in candy brown and jungle green, and the small Christmas tree seems to be a rainbow. The Helen’s Special is a packed dish, but of course Subway’s guacamole is more spicy. So, I have a few comments. Family love is behind this place even if a visitor gets a pizza taste from the stack of corn burritos, also radio music in the dining room from K-Earth 101, not to mention creamy lettuce crisps and mild Mexican sausage. An employee in leadership status worries about the crowd’s health because he has the salute of health. So, what should a reader know? Well, I dine for lunch at casual restaurants every day, tan with lots of diet colas, and prefer either white burritos or colored burritos. My parents relish from traditions and choose quick snacks in compact portions, plus I smile during the cooking of fajita meat. The parking lot has less of a burnt atmosphere and a Mexican wind chime hangs in one of this restaurant’s corners near Avon magazines and a picture about Diego Rivera. There are two kinds of taco salad with differences between them in crunchiness, messiness, and carnivorous appetite. Reviewers on Unilocal need to be careful with criticism about the inevitable, the constant reality, the various experiences, because fairness of reviewers should be about their determination of acquisitions rather than mere personal opinions. So, it’s been said on this website dozens of times that the corn burritos are delicious and that customer service is faulty(which is not true!). As a thinker, I believe the opinions are just noise. Why not come into the restaurant and hum to the beach blues? The poinsettias have a secret aurora and more cans need the sun-kissed fruit. A guitarist played for my friends here and lunch needs more faces. What about the cute wrinkled dessert? Imagine steak nuggets or chicken appeal. My favorite soda is printed in gold letters and my father loves jalapeños, so Tony’s Burrito Hut is filled with treasures. The dining tables are wrapped clean while the coat-hanger of a lonely sombrero man remains unaltered and brand new. A bookish reader might read my happy and passionate review with a quiet crude voice, so I admit that the restaurant’s hanging baskets can fly in my mind and make me dizzy. Also, a warm hand is an open flame and the cooks are good readers as memories get lost, and the chicken sandwich is my personal comfort after corndogs and beans take heat from our skin. I think that the normal is wild and some drivers own their favorite hearts. This is a place for artists! Restaurants make me want to touch my hair, wear Hawaiian shirts, and introduce my mother to Tony’s onion rings. Meals are forgotten when there’s more love often. Here they serve sizes of fries in magical bags. The Colorado burrito is homely and Chile Verde is a spectacle, and visitors must let workers serve us at our tables like dodge-balls or worried nurses. Simply, this is Tony’s Burrito Hut.

Terrible experience today after many years as a customer! I will never set foot in Tonys again and will be sure no one I know spends another dollar there! Messed up my order last week and said nothing, today was the last time! Messed up a simple order again and refused to correct it, told it was MY fault! Please do not eat here as the Customer Service SUCKS!

As always the food is amazing. Sad because they ran out of asade but the shredded beef was just as good as a substitute. The beef is perfectly seasoned. The salsa is perfect it’s spicy but not too spicy. I definitely would come ever day if I could.

Tony’s Brito huts enter a number of honors and changes over the last few years, decades. I’ve always found it to be good food. And service is always been fairly good. I haven’t been in recently very much but the few times I have been in its been enjoyable.

Great food! Fast service and really friendly staff! Under new management, but they kept a lot of the same recipes. The corn tacos are a must! Authentic Mexican food conveniently located in East Ventura.

Not super authentic food. But hey it is Ventura. The relleno has cheddar in it. This would make my relatives scream. They are fast, the place is grimy. But they are nicer than most in our little city. If they made real Mexican food I would return. But there is a more authentic place just down Telephone!

First time I’ve been here. Worst food ever. Ordered beef tacos and they were filled with a tasteless mixture of grey hamburger meat and refried beans. I’ve never heard of tacos or eaten one with refried beans in them. The shells were soggy. Nachos were equally terrible. Canned cheese sauce with no flavor. Man behind counter went from taking money and ringing in orders to helping in the kitchen without washing hands or putting on gloves. The kitchen is open so you can see everything. Don’t waste your money.

First time visit. Food was not very good. My wife and I had different meals and both agreed. Plus, there was an issue with flies on our plates and basically right up in our faces at times. Nice gentleman who helped us. Possible owner. Unsure.

Super sloppy super delicious burritos. I kicked off my day with the Colorado with sour cream. If you’re on a diet go to subway next door. If you’re looking for delicious bite that requires napkins then Tony’s is your spot. Can’t wait to try the tacos on my next stop.

Been to Tony’s Burrito Hut twice in 8 days. Got to say something about the place. Although there is a new owner, they are using the same recipes for the corn burritos & sauce. So yummy!!!

Best corn burritos in town! This is the place I had them first 30 years ago and they still taste the same! Everyone else makes a copy in my book! Remember coming here after riding motorcycles in the riverbed for our fix! Still sell them per each. Not any confusing 2 or 4 per order!

If I had taken the time to write a review several days ago, I would have given them at least 3 if not 4 stars, and raved about their 3 way + chicken burrito. Admittedly, where they are located, and the condition of their interior does NOT lead one to just want to go there. However, a good friend of mine bought me their burrito, I thought it was very good, and being just down the block seemed like a great alternative to my FAV place downtown. I had been back a few times to get the same burrito with equal success. Then, last night happened. My husband who had not tried them yet, and I ordered burritos for dinner, and basically had bones thru out both of ours. I took out of my mouth, sorry, its gross I know! bones out of 4 bites, my husband at least two. He called, just to let them know, that whomever made the batch of shredded chicken did not get the bones out. Not to complain, he was very nice on the phone. The owner? I assume,(it was a male we spoke to) TOTALLYBLEWITOFF. His comment to us, when we said there were bones, was«oh, well was the rest of the burrito good??» And that sealed the deal, to write it here, and we will NEVER go back. They lost a customer, and we found another place FRESHBURRITO, excellent food, just down the road a bit. And that is now were we will go to stay in our neighborhood for great food, and it was by far, also better priced. Tony’s is a bit over priced compared to other GREAT places in and around Ventura.
