Always really fast and amazing quality food. If your in a hurry and want really good food give them a call! Their burritos are amazing!

Whenever I’m in the need for quick Mexican food this is always a place I go to. It’s close it’s convenient and they also have delivery which is very helpful. I’m not going to say it’s the world’s greatest Mexican food but it’s definitely a lot better than other places I’ve been to.

My family and I eat here all the time. You can order anything from their menu and you’ll love it. They have the best enchiladas, burritos and taquitos. They even deliver how awesome is that and their salsa is the best in town.

Always a good place to grab a quick Sancho burrito. Thankful for the quick delivery we have once a week!

The Food here is Excellent. … I would give them a 5, but they are expensive… we would eat here more often if we could afford it… We would love to see a coupon for your great food please. … :)

Basic. If your looking for overpriced mediocre Mexican food it’s okay. When I do get food from here I shoot for the enchiladas they seem to be the only thing that seems appetizing on their menu.

Having using Mexican Express on and off for the last few years. Seen it through a number of changes not always for the better. Nonetheless it’s still fairly decent food delivery service is extremely helpful on days when you’re too busy to take care of getting food or going out. Place I’d have ordered from regularly and probably still will.

Nothing interesting here. We tried this restaurant because it’s local. Had the recommended tacos carnitas platter and it was not bad but nothing to go back for. My friend had Al’s burrito and want impressed either. There wasn’t much flavor and didn’t seem fresh. I recommend asking for more salsa since they gave one container only. The service was slower than expected for our simple to go order and the temperature of the room was unbearable. Luckily we could wait outside, but the strip mall needs to be updated. It was clean inside and the cashier was prompt.

Went to Mexican Express last night for dinner. It was delicious. I got the house special carnitas tacos and was very pleased:)

³¹⁄₂ years ago we moved. Now we are back! We loved their food before but now I have a much different opinion. I used to love Als burrito, small version, gone! Now it is 1 size only, WHAT? WHY? I ordered the huge one and it is not the same. Where’s the pork??? Where’s the sour cream? Where’s the chili rellano!!! Total disappointment! The chips seem stale too. I used to get the Als all the time and it used to be well stocked with meat, sour cream and chili rellano. I am bummed this place went down instead of up. The last 2 Als I have had were rice, rice and more rice! Meat at the very bottom and no sour cream! I may not go here any more due to the poor quality food that once was the best.

Just devoured an «Al’s Burrito» and it was pretty awesome! It had a lot going on but I loved it. I really dug the use of Mexican cheese over cheddar (blecjhh) in a relleno and con crème with pinto bean and rice (bomb).
Not sure what the other reviews have going on with this place but 8 bucks for a legitimately Mexican chili relleno burro and chips/​salsa is awesome. Reminds me of late nights studying at ASU. Rock on Mexican Express.
Would have gotten a 5^th star for some red or green picante for my burrito.

This place is a joke. Two bean and cheese burritos with sour cream for $ 20.00. Talked to so called manager. She was ok with it. Burritos were small and she said she’s ok losing a customer of 15 yrs. good luck manager.

Always fast, and good. I always build my own nachos, which is huge! They take cash or credit, if you haven’t had it, try it. Great job Mexican express!

Pros, Cons, then Summary
Went here with my family for an early lunch.
PROs – Delicious food. Best place to go for Mexican food on the east side of Ventura. The burritos were great. Portions are big and I got full on their meal. Salsa was not too spicy, but that’s ok. Food is more authentic than other places, like Snapper Jack’s and Tony’s.
CONs – Not really a place to sit down to eat. The atmosphere is nonexistent, and it’s just a few small tables and chairs. Basically, not a place to take a date, but to get full. Don’t serve alcohol. While I didn’t stay to eat, not serving alcohol means I’ll probably never stay to eat… Pricey!!! Almost $ 40 for a family of four… and it was take-​out to boot. Off the road a bit.
Would I go back? Yes, but probably on payday. Food is good, and it’s the closest, good Mexican food joint near me. There are others closer, but not worth my $$$.

I just called this dump and they told me that if I ordered from them it would take 2 ½ hrs. to get an order delivered west of Victoria. Sheesh! The food here isn’t even that good but I thought it would be convenient to get it delivered. Guess I was wrong.

Usually my last resort
The burritos aren’t bad and the good thing is they do deliver and they aren’t too expensive not a fan of the nachos or tacos. Wouldn’t recommend it

This is the one of the only places that delivers in Saticoy and it is NOT worth the crappy food they offer. Their prices recently went up. I’m not sure what for, because the food quality is the same! I ordered the veggie burrito which only consists of a bunch of rice, an overload of potatoes, a few carrots and cabbage. Very blah… I asked for some guacamole in my veggie burrito, received a smear of it and was charged $ 1.75. I also ordered albondigas soup and again a disappointment. Only (2) meatballs, rice, potatoes and a few carrots. Apparently they don’t have a variety of vegetables. The soup was greasy and salty. You definitely do not want to have this unless you want high cholesterol. I will never order from here again even if they say they’ll cut the meal prices in half. Very dis-​satisfied customer here :(

We knew better than to order their house specials for lunch and asked for a large veggie burrito at lunch pricing. They were able to make the switch, but I still have the bitter taste from the last experience here. Hopefully they keep being helpful and nice to improve their review.

Love this Place! Carne Asada Burrito was juicy and delicious. Love there Salsa and Guacamole it’s great. Horchata was delicious also.

Haven’t been to Mexican Express in many years, last visit was before Unilocal existed. Same menu, good sign to me that food is proven food. Very nice people helping with orders and cooking. I got a Pancho burrito and crispy asada taco. After getting my takeout order I noticed a Crispy Apple burrito which was very tempting. Party (football) menu looks great, ½ dozen or dozen of this or that with chip and famous salsa. My first bite of the chips and salsa was so fantastic, so fresh with a nice warm to hot kick. After finishing the fresh crispy taco with a nice scoop of salsa and Pancho’s burrito I’m craving another (great indication to me of a place to add to my repeat visit list). Possible five star after another visit.
