Malibu’s Vancouver

The bands played great music. Too bad they have to perform in such a stink hole that calls itself a bar. My friends and I nick-​named it MaliPoo because up by the bar it smelled like sewage. Came back after a break for fresh air to make sure it wasn’t just a patron’s gas release, but no, same odor. Tried to get a gin & tonic, but no Tangueray gin or much of anything resembling a real bar for adults. I never got brave enough to see or smell the restroom, and would never order food here, if they have any. Have health inspectors checked this place? Plumbing inspectors?

$ 8 for a cocktail at a dive bar? Dirty, overpriced and poor service. Will never go there again. Shocked they can stay in business. The place was a mess and bathrooms were disgusting!!! Maybe the 3 or 4 employees chatting at the bar should clean the place up. HORRIBLE.

No stars from me but i have to give 1 to post. $ 8.00 for a 1 shot drink served in a tall glass. beer went up a S1. oo when band started.$ 5.00.what did the weak drinks go up to?. If i were if I were in a high-​class place I would not b**** about the prize but this was low class or no class is a better way of saying it. Rude bartenders who dont know how to make a drink. My money and time will be spent elsewhere. Dont waste your time or money… Band was good.

This place does not even get one star. I was there to donate for an individual that has cancer and the drinks were so overpriced and the service so rude I could not believe it. The bartender did not even know how to make drinks. I will never enter that place again.

Great place to people-​watch. Fun karaōke on Thursday nights. I’ve taken friends here & they also think that it’s not so bad…

The bucket was 10 bucks. It was a sort of coconut drink? Strong and literally came in a bucket, which they let us keep.
Ladies, when your off to powder your nose or have a smoke (maybe just step out to cool off) the bartenders will not only watch your drink but hold it behind the bar for you. I like that, they won’t throw it out and more importantly they keep it away from skeez-​balls.
The food is as you might expect, relatively inexpensive, greasy and appetizing when you’ve polished off a couple beers.
The atmosphere draws in all kinds. Last night, there were four bands playing. Metal and a couple tributes. It was loud, fun and laid back. It’s location is perfect for a bar crawl, as it’s right around the corner from like 5 other bars (walking distance, don’t drink and drive!) and the others nearby are a mix of dives, sports bars and dance clubs.
Stay thirsty my friends.

The club sandwich is huge. The crowd is hometown and casual. The sound system looks like it’s going to blow people away.

I’m assuming that this place looks better in the dark and after a couple drinks. None the less the club sandwich was big and decent with plenty of potato chips to spare. From the looks of things, I’m sure this is a better night stop than a place for lunch, but still the beer is cold the sandwich pretty good and definitely filling. The server behind the bar is cute with a personality to match but I’m still not coming back in here unless it’s 1:30 am and last call, CHEERS !

The sound on the Karaōke System is Great, Top notch Karaōke and Friendly Staff !

Bartenders had trouble getting drinks right, they may have been drunk. Several of who I thought were patrons, because they were drinking, were doing tasks employees should be doing. Food was horrible. Pizza was burnt on top but the crust was soft and doughy. They didn’t make a new pizza they just put it back in the oven and burnt it more. Drinks were on the weak side. Bartenders seemed more interested in talking with themselves or doing dishes than serving customers. Had to listen to one bartender fight with her boyfriend while waiting. We were there playing league pool, about 14 people were playing and drinking. Not once did a server come out to us or clean up empty plates, glasses or bottles. I was charged three different prices for the same beer. One price change was probably happy hour but the third bump was confusing. The homeless seem to wonder in and out. One guy walked in and yelled «anybody got any weed it’s legal now». Bathrooms have room for just one person. Men’s restroom ALWAYS seemed to have someone taking a crap in it. Most likely the homeless. Two guys set kareoke up and had no business singing! Usually KJ’s can at least sing. I’ll never go back. Probalby the worst bar in Vancouver, which has a host of crappy bars.

You can only guess what types of people are going to come here if they offer $ 1 beers. I used to go here only because I knew one of the bartenders, but now that she is gone, I will skip this one. Not really a place to take a date, or eat their food, but if you are looking for cheap beer, go for it! Definitely the right place.

Cute little bar, but the drinks were ridiculously priced for as tiny and watered down as they were. I probably won’t go back.
