The Wash House Laundry

The Fluff and Fold woman Joanna is absolutely amazing! The prices are unbeatable! 1 dollar and 25 cents or so per pound for sheets and towels and she folds beautifully! We’ve been her customers for 3 years and have never had a problem! She is an endearing and kind woman and treats us like family I recommend her to everyone!

I came here due to the reviews on Unilocal and was unfortunately disappointed. I don’t require anything complicated like fluff or alterations, just machines. The cleanliness is on par to an apartment complex laundry room. Trash and empty bags littered the floors and surfaces, and the place was packed with kids like it was a chuck e! cheese. I don’t mind kids, but when you have to maneuver through a dozen of them not paying attention to get to your laundry, it’s frustrating.
Unknowingly, I came on a $ 1/​wash day. Sadly, that only applies to a few washers, which already had people waiting for. The rest of the washers were smaller, and cost $ 1.75. These washers are old and damaged, with most missing labels on the buttons. The dryers are 25cents for an undetermined amount of time. Mine were adjacent in the same bank and were 8 and 10 minutes, which is a good amount of time, but inconsistent. There’s very little folding space, all of which was taken up, some with kids sitting on the tables, trash, etc.
Perhaps their services are excellent, but if you’re just looking for a place to do your laundry, you can find dozens of places in the area that are better worth your time and money.

I have used their laundry services twice. They come on time to pick it all up and drop it off perfectly folded or hung. My apartment’s washers never get my clothes clean enough and with a baby who spits up on everything I really didn’t enjoy the leftover milk residue on my shirts that was left over. Now my clothes are super clean and I am hardly paying any more than I was for my crappy quarter apartment washers.

I have NEVER used a fluff & fold service before. Something about someone else touching my undergarments totally freaks me out but when your back it to the wall, some things have to give. Enter The Wash House. Charles (the owner) and his staff saved me from a huge nightmare! I’m moving next week and due to major laundry neglect ended up with about 100 lbs (no joke) of laundry to do. Who has time for that when they’re trying to move? I contacted The Wash House to find out about their pick-​up and delivery service and Charles, the owner, answered the phone himself. He immediately put my nervousness at ease, answered all of my questions and did not pressure me to make a decision about using the service. When I did decide to save myself the headache, scheduling pick-​up was a breeze and for almost 100 lbs of laundry the price was fantastic! Clean professionally folded laundry was delivered to my apartment within 48 hours and now all I have to do is box it up for the move. THANK YOU, Wash House. You all did an awesome job and should I find myself ever living out here again, I will keep you in mind!

Would come back. Didn’t run into any problems. They have a $ 1 special on 1.5 load machines on Fridays and Saturdays (these usually run at $ 1.75). They also have single, 2.5, 3.5 and 6 load machines. Dryers are $ 0.25 per 10 minutes with various heat settings.
