On Target

I will warn you to call this place before you drive 30 – 40 minutes across town like I just did (only to get turned away). I was turned away for the third or fourth time for various reasons. Tonight they told me half the range was shut down due to a bad ventilation system. I understand that. I said I’d wait for the other range. They told me I was too late and had to be there by 4:00 to allow a wait. It was 3:58, and I pointed that out to the lady behind the counter. She would not allow a wait. If I were this business, I’d at least offer a free visit or 50% off or something due to the inconveniences. If you know of another range in your area, I’d go there first. These folks act like they could not care less for your business.

First time at this range and we were really impressed by about everything here. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by the friendly staff and was very easy to get signed in and on the range. They have 2 separate indoor ranges and we were on the second one which was easy to find even though this was our first time. Once on the range we thought the setup was really nice and the target system worked great. There really isn’t any limits on what you can shoot here from what we noticed but the range is about 30 or so yards so pistol and shotgun would work best. The ventilation was awesome and there were only a couple of stalls that were not being used so we were very impressed with that. There is only one thing that I think they could improve on and its not enough to take away from a 5 star rating but it would be nice if they had some type of a larger table that you could set everything on while your shooting. After we got done there was a different person that took care of the bill but there were just as friendly so everything here went great and if your looking for a good, friendly and clean indoor range make sure you check them out. Great place and we will be a returning customer for sure.

I don’t have any other indoor ranges to compare this one, but I have to say it was a super nice way to spend the day today. It’s way to cold for me to want to stand outside and shoot but I still really wanted to go. The range was well organized and ran smoothly even with four out of the six stalls on the range being used. Workers where friendly and welcoming (it was my first time here and I’m an out of state resident). I didn’t think the price was to bad either me and another shooter on my lane and it was only $ 24 and we shot long enought to shoot 5 hand guns and a shot gun.

Absolutely fantastic experience with these guys! I bought a groupon because I was looking for a way to introduce my daughter to shooting hand guns and she had been begging for months. It seemed like a low-​cost route to see what the kid thought of firing a sidearm.
I called with a few questions just to be sure I understood the nuances of shooting at a privately-​owned indoor range. I spent over 26 years in the Army and I’ve run ranges from pistol up to tank table VII so I am pretty keen on safety and range procedures. I was comfortable enough to bring my daughter here but it was the level of expertise on the part of the staff and the individual attention that will certainly bring us back. I was really, really impressed by the amount of time they spent with my teenager discussing the different weapons and helping her decide which ones she would fire… even though I already had made that decision before we arrived. They drew diagrams of proper sight picture for her. Fine-​tuned her grip. Demonstrated stance and more.
The range itself was very clean and well lit. I love the smell of cordite but was surprised at how quickly it was evacuated due to their ventilation system. The target hardware worked just fine also.
All in all, a top-​notch experience!
