They only have one person doing everything cashier and drinks. The line is to long for one person to try to be superman.

This Starbucks is located at the inside of a Safeway. I usually go to this one if I’m eating at Yo Sushi. I always need some sort of caffeine to counteract the food. On a regular basis, i would prefer to not go to this one for coffee. I find that the quality isn’t always consistent, they come out watery or they don’t know how to make the drinks sometimes. Also, I think this is standard practice for all Starbucks inside Safeway, but the barista would take one order, then make it. Then move onto the next order… even if it’s clearly my friend who’s with me and we’re ordering the same drink… doesn’t really make much sense to me.

Probably the ONLY Starbucks in Vallejo that can actually make a LEGIT Frapuccino, and it’s located conveniently inside of Safeway! I’m speaking of one particular Barista, who doesn’t make it watery, too icy, or doesn’t make it taste anything like what it’s suppose to be. I just don’t remember her name, but she’s awesome. It’s a hit-or-miss if she isn’t there, but when she is, I feel like I’m in heaven… till I finish my drink. I’m glad I finally found someone who can make it right.

You’ll find this Starbucks directly inside the newly remodeled Safeway store. The baristas are still a little new at their job, and clearly are still working through the learning curve. Still, though, they’re nice and friendly, and it’s great to be able to get your latte before your grocery shopping expedition. As with all(or most?) Starbucks locations, they also sell the New York Times, making it, while we lived there, the closest place for us to pick up the Times, since we lived in Carquinez Heights.
