I stopped here earlier with my son and he wanted the chicken empanadas. My son loves it so we ordered a bunch of them. I. went a little crazy and bought a bunch of their desserts. Every single bread, cake, brownie. just about everything was super delicious. The rice porridge was also very good. It had pieces of mushrooms and shredded chicken in it and the flavor was very unique but still good. But I highly recommend the chicken empanadas from here because it’s excellent.

I went yesterday to buy a cake for my son, so i look on their display of cakes. So i saw the Rocky road cake and i ask the staff if that okay with a dedication she replied is okay. When she looks on the fridge the rocky road cake she has no stock only the display is available. She ask the lady manager if okay to sell the display. The Reply of the Manager NO! Then i ask why she said if we sell the display we will run out of Display! So i told her your saying is better NOTTOSELL the CAKE for The Sake of DISPLAY Rather than to earn the Revenue. What kind of Manager is that. So S#x#€… i just tell the manager i think you have to learn more to become a manager… i Just left. Hopefully The OWNEROFTHATSTOREWILLLOOKONMYREVIEW. TY

Since there isn’t a Goldilocks where I live. This is the place to get our cakes. My favs are the mocha roll, ube. I love their Ensemada as well. The price of their pastries are on the steep side for me but I’m willing to spend the money especially if it’s on special occasions. They also serve the typical Filipino dishes kinda like a chow king. Pretty satisfying is you are craving Filipino desserts, pastries and dishes.

Keep specially ordered cakes/items INSTOCK for the person who’s placed an order in advance. Very unprofessional to be told that the cake we specifically ordered four days before the pick up date was«out of stock» because it is «Christmas and that cake is very popular.» So am I to understand that the cake I ordered specifically in advance and paid for was sold to someone else? Then what is the point of even placing an order if it won’t be guaranteed to be available for pick up? I work in customer service and my business also deals with cake orders and we NEVER have issues such as this. If a customer orders and pays for a cake in advance, it is the business’ responsibility and contract to the customer that the specific items will be available at the time of pick up. Simply unprofessional and inexcusable. There was no attempt to contact me even though we are required to leave a phone number at the time we placed the order. Again, what is the point of this if Red Ribbon is not going to give me a courtesy call to notify me of the status of my ordered cake? We were offered to choose another(different flavored) cake since the cake that was originally ordered was not available. It does not make up for the disappointment and inconvenience suffered by the customer.

I, my wife always order their dinuguan every time We visit the Vallejo Red Ribbon Bakeshop. The taste is quite different. However, lately around the beginning of the year the texture and taste is not likeable in our taste. Wonder if they’ve change cooks! They should bring back the old dinuguan recipe they always served previously and not this so thick texture, presently they serve. Yuck… All other menus are fine.

Ok I give them 3 stars for their food because I like their cakes, dinuguan, and palabok. But their service sucks. I don’t expect to walk in and staff just look at me. I knew that guy was not the cashier but show some hospitality. The place is just uninviting. Oh and I guess I ask for too much when I want my halo halo with just ice and milk; and if possible, a scoop of ube ice cream or some form of it. But nooooo, it is pre-made and a cup of ice and milk cannot be made. Don’t they add that on already? I even told them I’ll pay full price. I just went Max’s…oh and they didn’t give me that stupid look like I have major problems. Well not everyone wants those beans and jelly inside…

Delicious cakes! I really liked the Coffee Crunch Cake and my co-workers loved the Mango Cake. Both were very fresh, moist, and light. I will visit here again!

Awesome. From cakes to empanadas to pan adobo. Prices are reasonable and everything is fresh and delicious. Going to pick up a chocolate cake in 5 minutes.

Good baked good and reasonable prices. We wanted to get a decent cake for my son’s birthday right away, so we decided to try Red Ribbon since we were already at Seafood City. My son picked the cake he wanted. The staff was friendly was willing to put happy birthday on the cake. The staff did this pretty quickly, decently, and best option for free! Later everyone had cake and enjoyed it! I guess we will be going back. I’m intregued by the mango cake! The mangoes are supposed to be from the Philippines. The best mangoes in the world! Let’s find out! And I’ll update1

Lacking good customer service. Instead of attending to customers in line, one cashier told me to go to the next cashier while she went to get the broom. I waited behind the other customer. Instead of acknowledging me, the cashier helped another customer. When I asked when I was going to get helped, the cashier and the other person behind the counter both said they thought I was with the gentleman in front of me(customer they just finished assisting). Lame excuse. Those two women plus the one sweeping debris in front of the display window, not even an emergent spill, were all within 4 – 6 ft from me. How could they miss the scenario? Take care of customers first, sweep the floor later and acknowledge/confirm customers in line.

If I had the choice between Red Ribbon and ChowKing, I’d choose Red Ribbon each and every time. Although ChowKing has a a wide selection of food for their menu, Red Ribbon consistently serves up delicious food each and every time.

Two words: MANGOCAKE. Every year we get my birthday cake from here and it never disappoints. It a bit on the pricey side for a small cake but it’s so moist and not too sweet, it’s worth it.

Great bakery. My favorite cakes: choco-mocha crunch cake — a birthday staple in my home… there is something about the crunchy pieces in the rich cake that keeps you wanting more. mango cake(or roll) — a fluffy light cake with a frosting that isn’t too sweet. This is a great cake! empanadas are pretty good!

The Red Ribbons here in America do NOT compare to those back in the Philippines; however, thats a whole other story and hopefully its pretty much a given. As far as the food goes, there isn’t too much offered on their menu. If you do end up getting a meal here, it comes with a soda and a slice of yummy cake that you can choose from. The siopao here is pretty good, but its a bit on the small and expensive side. The cakes here are divine! They almost rival the cakes at Andersen bakery! The mango cake, I forgot what it’s specifically called, is by far my favorite here!

Whenever I can I drop by this place to grab some of my favorite Taisan(Chiffon Cake) 2.99. It’s perfectly sweet, buttery, airy soft and delicious. Red Ribbon Bakeshop featured custom design cakes for any occasion. I’ve tried the mango cake before and it’s the bomb! Being a bakeshop I don’t really know why they bother with the Filipino combo entrée plates. I guess it’s all part of today’s one stop shop routine. I’m so addicted to sweet stuff…

Their service sucks! Sooooo … my Sister had called and talked to Virginia. Virginia said that she wouldn’t pre-order the panda(spelling?) and mocha cakes ahead of time, but she will«guarantee» that they will be there when we picked them up. Fast-forward a few days later, I called and spoke to a lady to see if we could pre-order the cakes if I paid ahead – the lady hung up on me! Seriously! I then called back, and I said«Hey, you hung up on me!» She said: «Sorry, I was busy.» Really? She then said that I couldn’t pre-order the cakes because she was really busy right then. I then drove down to Vallejo, as the cakes were«guaranteed.» I called and spoke with Virginia to see if(again) I could pre-order the cakes. She said«sure» this time and asked what type of cakes I wanted. I told her panda and mocha. She said: «So sorry, but I don’t have them.» I responded: «Hey, you guaranteed them to my Sister!» She started back-peddling, claiming she made no such guarantee. We decided to get our cakes from Costco. Virginia, your customer service sucks!
