This place is a hole in the wall, but worth EVERY calorie. Just writing this makes me want to go there right now.

Anybody with a complaint about señorita bread would have to be miserable! It’s absolutely delicious. The only thing I get from here. They only take cash.

Home to the best tasting bread on the planet. The Señorita Bread is nothing short of perfection. Nothing comes close to it. It’s a warm, sweet and buttery combination that will make your mouth happy. I heard it once described as «bread crack» as you’ll definitely develop an addiction.

If you have never had the señorita bread you have not lived! PS get two big boxes. Take one to work and take one home. You won’t want to share them all.

Bread and buttery!!! Who couldn’t resist this delicious bread! I like this location(which is the original) it’s always good and never disappoints me. Yes they have other locations but for some reason it’s not as good as this location. I was told whatever they serve in the Vallejo location is the same at the other locations but it ain’t true because I can taste the difference! So definitely when in the area, gotta stop at Starbread!

Well, they probably change the flour brand or whatever ingredient in the bread. It is not soft as before.

With all the hype about these señioritas, I had to give them a try. Unilocalers expressing their addiction didn’t help the resistance. Nothing beats fresh baked bread straight out of the oven. Quick pickups aren’t a problem due to it’s simple business format. I’ve requested for 30 and these señioritas were hot and ready with little to no wait time. It’s bread crack. Best to have them with your favorite coffee!

This bread inspires me so much, I’m writing this review the night right before my final! After my first bite of señorita bread a few weeks ago, I kept thinking about it. It’s buttery, soft, warm center… how it always seems to be fresh out of the oven… it’s pretty much the best thing ever. I swear it’s so good I’m pretty sure they melt a stick of butter down the center! To top it all off, it’s VERY affordable! 5 for $ 2?! You really can’t beat that. I only buy a small amount at a time because I don’t think I could stop myself if I bought any more than that. I’ve only tried the signature seniorita bread, but you bet I’ll be going back for more! If they can make these little loaves taste like heaven, I can’t wait to see what they can do with a donut or some of their other pastries! It’s kind of in a little strip mall with not much in it(it’s near a CVS and a tapioca express), so you kind of go out of your way for this one… but I’d do it every time :)

I’ve been going here for a few years and the señorita bread is like crack when it is hot and fresh from the bakery. It is definitely a splurge in the calorie department but is a great stop before wine tasting in Napa. They do have a new cinnamon flavor which I was excited to try however, it tasted dry and did not really have a cinnamon taste to it. I was disappointed that I wasted some calories on that so be warned… Stick to the original

Starbread is famous for something,(señorita bread, etc.). didn’t remember so brought something on sight. eats: mango turnover(1.75) crunchy, sugary nibbles, fresh mango taste inside peanut butter(1)?(look like large thumb) –real butter peanut inside with soft texture turnover type pastry. crumbs: –real flavors, not artificial –fresh tasty, inexpensive.

It pains me to write this, as I’ve been coming here for over 5 years and have always loved the famous seniorita bread. The quality has always been so consistent and fresh, never a problem with the service. The other week I went in and ordered a 15 piece. It was hot and fresh as usual, starving we couldn’t wait to dig in. My son had one and he was in heaven. I had one and I was perplexed, because it was so dry, didn’t have the usual sugary butter it normally has. Figuring it was just one bad one, I tried another, then another… searching for a good one like my son had had, but no luck. He ate a few as well, but found the same thing. It still tasted good, but it was just bread… none of the«love». So after that I called them up and asked if they had changed the recipe by chance. They said no, so I told them what I was experiencing. The girl Rain said no problem, just bring it back tomorrow. So the next day I went in and asked for Rain, but she wasn’t in. The lady at the counter said they would only replace 6 since that’s all I had left. I asked if I could speak to the manager, so I could explain the situation and let her know I called and they told me to come in to replace the box. A couple minutes later another lady comes out, and before I even have a chance to explain the situation, she is getting all defensive, accusing me of trying to eat all of the bread and then get new ones, so she’ll only replace the 6. I tried to explain that I wasn’t trying to get away with anything, we just kept eating them waiting to find the good ones. Anyway, she wasn’t having any of it and stormed back into the kitchen, while I sat there stunned staring at the other customer in the store. We couldn’t believe that that’s how they handle customer service issues, over $ 4 mind you and that’s not even food cost. Came to find out that was actually the owner! I didn’t say another word, ordered and paid for another 15 piece that I came there for, and left. I believe in forgiveness, maybe she had a bad day. I’ll still continue to get my seniorita bread, I just know if I ever need to return them, I better not eat any! Regardless of it all, considering it was the owner, the totally unprofessional behavior deserves 1 – 2 stars, while the rest of the staff and the product gets 4 – 5 stars.

You best believe that Starbread’s Señorita Bread will truly knock your socks off! Looks like half of an Olive Garden Breadstick but the fluffy, pull-apart, pillowy-soft dough with its buttery goodness center is purely divine! It comes out piping hot but every tongue burn is worth savoring this delightful pastry! Never mind the calories… One bite of the Señorita Bread and you’ll be addicted to this sweet little gem! Oh how I wish they had a shop here in SoCal. Starbread is actually located in an older, run-down plaza so beware of panhandlers outside! I wish I got to try the other treats they had here. I’m sure it’s just as delectable! Overall, I would come back here regardless of the location because the girl who helped us on Sunday 6÷28÷15 was friendly and helpful! Señorita Bread: 5 stars Location: 2 stars Customer Service: 5 stars Price: 5 stars Try it and let me know what you think! Enjoy! :-)

This place is famous for its SENORITABREAD!!! its small little bite size breads that filled with butter and cream! It’s amazingly delicious! The area is pretty ghetto. The interior brings me back to the bakeries in the Philippines. Where you would wake up on Sunday morning to go to the bakery for your fresh made padesal. The customer service is excellent! They were very personable and kind. They were also extremely fast! I got a 30 piece señorita bread for only 12 bucks!!! It came very fresh and HOT! They also sell other Filipino Pastries like Puto. lol COMETRYIT!

This review is pretty much just for the señorita bread. We visited from SD for the weekend. My first time in the bay area. Our friend who lives in Vallejo kept telling us we should go try some señorita bread all weekend. I even joked how she kept bringing it up at random moments. She couldn’t exactly explain what it was. Finally at the end of the trip on the way home we decided… hey lets just give it a try. Oh my baby dinosaurs! So delicious. It has kinda like the taste of those Fiipino cheese rolls. But different in a crazy better way… Flakey, buttery, sweet, warm. I couldnt stop eating them. Now I’m here back home in SD and I really wish I had a star bakery around the corner.

I had heard about this Starbread place several times from my husband who couldn’t stop raving about their Señorita bread. So, while visiting family friends with my dad, somehow this place came up in topic. I told our friends about how I keep hearing about it but had yet to try some, which immediately sparked them to take me to get some. Boy was I glad when I did. Walking into that bakery & smelling the divine bread, it was awesome! Made me want to just stay & work amongst the yummy goodness. We decided on getting a few boxes containing 25 pieces of this amazingly good bread that is just so simple! You can opt to get more or less pieces, depending on how strong your urge is, but they really are small. On top of it’s amazing flavor, they give it to you FRESH& warm! It was so fresh, I couldn’t wait to take it back for a taste & opened the box in the car to grab one… SOOO, so good! The buttery, sugary goodness is what makes this bread so addicting! If you haven’t had a chance yet, you’ve gotta try it. You won’t be disappointed. I let my husband know I was finally getting the chance to try this Señorita bread & he happily informed me there was a new store that opened in our(Natomas) area in Sacramento! We’ll have to try that place to see if it’s on par with the other stores we’ve tried. =)

Holy mother of carbs! I came home one day and there was a box of señorita bread, I still remember that day like it was yesterday… it was seriously life changing. Just a whiff of señorita bread makes me feel guilty. But I never regret consuming about 2 – 5 pieces in one sitting. I’m hooked on this stuff and I’ve been bringing it to work every now and then, trying to get people at work addicted to it, so I don’t feel so bad about myself. You should do the same if you find yourself feeling guilty.

Get the seniorita bread here!!! Get at least 20 pc for yourself because just a couple to munch on for yourself will NOT be enough! And it’s really cheap! Some people like to eat it right out of the oven, but I refer eating it an hour or so later once the sugar sets and it carmelize to perfect… droools…

SENIORITABREAD. If you were going to read anything about this review, that’s what you get. No flavors, no extras, get a box of seniorita bread. Aside from the prices being so cheap, it is by far the best, most addicting bread I have ever tasted. Honestly, I don’t even know what else they sell at that bakery. The seniorita is that good. As I write this, I am almost tempted to back space because you might be taking my last piece of seniorita bread. It’s already known among the Filipinos in Vallejo, but if word gets out to everyone else, I am screwed. After you buy that box, do yourself a favor… stow it in the trunk. Don’t EVER open the box inside the car. It will never make it home.
