I’m so glad this place exists. The staff is very warm and inviting and so is the atmosphere. You’ll immediately notice the place is covered in artwork and is quite calming. Anyone who is artsy or creative would feel right at home. And the dishes and teas are quite wonderful as well and have a good variety and is reasonably priced. I’ve had good experiences here and come here quite regularly and love to show and tell people about it who have in the area but have never checked it out.

My partner and I have been coming here for over a year. The owner and his employees are warm and courteous. They have the best pour over coffee in Vallejo. The atmosphere is artsy, warm, and Bohemian. You can’t find better energy. The bison burger is a hit.

I discovered this gem of a place from a few friends posting about it on Instagram. I decided to check it out recently since I love supporting local coffee shops, I’m really happy how close it is! I have been here a few times now, and I may go here more often. The environment of this place is so calm. The workers have always been so kind and patient every time I have stopped by. The coffee is amazing, it’s like a hug in a cup. I also like how their to-​go cups are eco-​friendly. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

This place is a shit hole. They have one person doing everything! Everything! From making the filthy coffee they are serving to replenishing the filthy salsa they have out in the open for flies to sit on. If a clean cup of coffee or tea is what you’re looking for, you’re better off anywhere else. The management here clearly stopped giving a shit years ago.
If you care about disease transmission, then maybe go elsewhere. I witnessed the lady making my coffee lick her fingers as she ate, not wash her hands, and then grabbed my cup from the rim. I tossed my coffee away. Why would i drink this? How can this place fly with 4 stars in Unilocal?This is senseless!

I really want this place to do well. Vallejo needs a place like this. However, my visit yesterday was disappointing. That said, everything that was wrong yesterday can easily be righted! My husband had been raving about the place, so I was really confused when my first visit was exactly like the one Justine describes (19 May)! The service was lackluster, they were out of several ingredients, and the bagel was not toasted! My husband swore, «It’s not usually like this!» We think it was due to the owner’s absence. The owner did show up, and just as I was finishing the dry, untoasted bagel, he pulled a toaster off the shelf and handed it to the cook who’d prepared our breakfast sandwiches! Owner hustles. Hippy, earthy atmosphere is all well and good, but food prepared with more care and attention is also good. Come on, step it up! Make this 2-​star review an anomaly!

Seriously the best coffee shop in town. They serve Moschetti’s coffee (the best roaster I have ever tasted) and serve it well. I tried the Cubano Latte which consists of freshly ground expresso beans mixed with organic brown sugar and then brewed hot and fresh into the cup. It is then filled with steamed milk and served to perfection!!!
The house-​made kombucha is smooth and fruity. I tried the seasonal cherry kombucha today and was impressed by the soft cherry flavor and smooth finish.
The food is made fresh daily in-​house using local organic ingredients «whenever possible.» Not to mention the service is incredible! Super awesome young man and an awesome woman were there today and gave 5-​star service for a coffee house. When in need of coffee… or kombucha, Nathan’s is the bread & butter pick everytime.

This little hidden gem is so cute! The ambiance is so chill and great customer service!

Love this little gem. We recently moved to Vallejo and needed a nearby coffee shop. They have great coffee, gluten free food for me and homemade kombucha that is awesome. We have been buying it by the gallon and it is always super tasty and fresh. Support this local establishment.

This was my third try to find a latte at a small business today and finally scored! A bonus was discovering that they serve newly discovered (for me) local Moschetti organic Peru roast, with a nice bit of foam on my mocha. The chocolate dipped macaroon was a perfect pick-​me-​up, chewy but not too sweet. They serve a simple menu but cook with local, sustainably raised products, organic when possible. The kitchen closes from 1:30 — 5:00 PM. Service was still excellent. Family crafted the large redwood coffee table. A box of preschool toys were tucked away under that table. Very homey dining area. Seating inside or three sidewalk tables were available outside, along with a poochie water bowl. Lots of free two hour street parking nearby.

Excellent caramel lattes, walking distance from my downtown business is a plus. My new go to coffee spot when I want more than a regular cup of coffee.

I like the premise of this place and I love the way it is decorated. They have music on Wednesday evenings.
The kombucha isn’t very strong… but I give them credit for offering it. What a nice hippie, artsy vibe. I think these types of places are wonderful and I feel very relaxed when I go there.
So I will go back and post again but from first blush, it was a good experience and I want it to stay.

Nathan’s is lacking in many areas, coffee isn’t one of them. noticed a standing board sign on a driveby, parked a block away.
menu: coffee, breakfast, pastries, sammies, wraps, organic salads, waffles. expresso, teas, chocolates, etc.
brew: moschetti coffee, peruvian light roast pour over (2.5) 16oz.
–med,(3) dark roast (3.5) cost more
–lots of body for a light roast, bold taste with some smoothness
drips:
–not much seating for sitdown/​working, ambience ultra casual, hippie?
–informed music from pandora, chill wave… very soothing.
–coffee blows philz away
–barrista/​cashier ultra cool, almost never experienced such expertise/​warmth in a barrista
not a physical attraction. not gay as close associates theorize, just an unhuman bot…
neutered by traumatic stress, abnormal circumstances… say what? just saying…
–like to try food sometime, if possible, definitely a pour over coffee again.

I freaking loved this place, for my first time being here. Very sweet café, so don’t expect a lot of seating. Very urban and relaxed café, with a variety of music playing. Awesome chess board inside, with a wide selection of muffins and baked goods.

Wow simply amazing. As usual I ordered the breakfast burrito which by the way was only $ 5 +tax + $ 2 for bacon was simply delicious. Very, very flavorful combinations! I also ordered the Corn meal Waffle which is something I’ve never heard of before, but that’s a must try right there! I’m not going to get to much into the waffle, but you need to try it as well as the Kombacha.

My best friend and I were looking for a local coffee shop to study at, when she found Nathan’s! I hadn’t Unilocaled it beforehand, so I went in blindly.
The place had a very hippie ambience — from the décor to the organic kombucha that they bottle themselves to the hospitality of the staff and customers. We ordered 2 Cubano machiatos, which the owner told me is essentially a shot of cuban espresso con leche (with milk)! It was really good and definitely kept us wired for our 3hr study sesh.
We walked in on a Tuesday at 7:30pm and were quickly greeted by the owner. There were only 2 other people in the coffee shop so we scored one of the bigger tables in the middle to study. 30min later, there was a whole bunch of commotion as people started coming in, moving tables and bringing in their musical equipment. Little did we know there was a small group that had a gig there that night. and in the already small space we wondered how it was gonna work out. Eventually the coffee shop was filled with people coming to see the band play and we were the only 2 that were there for different reasons. The music was way too loud at some points, but we just tuned it out in hopes of getting more studying done. In the end it wasn’t that bad, we’d just hoped there was a bulletin or announcement or something to let customers know. from what we overheard this takes place every week so I would just call ahead and check if you’re planning on being productive.
It was a different experience, especially since we don’t really have places like this in the Vallejo area. I’d like to come back and try the food as well as the freshly baked organic pastries!

Came in here for the first time today. It was pouring rain so my regular lunch walk got cut short and we opted for a coffeehouse instead. My friend suggested we come here and, having heard about it before, agreed. SO GLAD WE CAME HERE! The place looks a little rough on the outside, and when you walk in it may be a little off-​putting that you can see all these huge vats right behind the bar where you order, but if you ignore that this place is 100%!
The girl working the front was super knowledgeable and was so nice as to explain kombucha to my friend and then help her pick which one she should have.
I ordered a latte macchiato and it was good; it certainly gave me the jitters so I know the coffee was on point!
There were a TON of people (for the area) who came in and out of here while we were there (12ish to 1), and I got to see a lot of food come out, although not any of the salads. I am serious when I say that I am going to have dreams about that waffle. That is seriously the biggest, most golden waffle I’ve ever seen. I also saw a sandiwch/​soup combo and the bread on the sandwich looked amaze-​balls!
All in all, I will definitely be back for coffee and maybe some kombucha (if I can stay away from the coffee). I am so excited to have a place that is open during the week and isn’t Panama Red!

Great little find in downtown Vallejo. The coffee is well-​crafted and the atmosphere is cozy. Going back next time I’m in town to try the cornbread waffles. I hope Georgia St continues to grow and flourish with businesses like this.

If you travel, you understand the importance of a comfortable, welcoming place where you can get really good coffee and delicious and nutritious food that is prepared with love.
This place is like walking into your mom’s kitchen, if your mom had a lot of cool artist friends and a really flexible vibe, and she liked to cook (and did it really well) short order style.
There are fabulous pieces of art everywhere, and the staff is as welcoming and interactive as you want them to be. You can hear snippets of creative, intelligent conversation all around you, as customers enjoy scones, pastries, soup, huevos rancheros, migas, and every kind of coffee drink you can think of.

First time there and love it nice ppl and it’s peaceful. Love the to go tea glasses and the tea mmm mmm
