My son has a game here. Impressive rink. 2 ½ sheets of ice: NHL, Olympic, and a ½ sheet for mites or 3 on 3 games. Locker rooms are spacious and heated, situated well, down the center line of the NHL& Olympic rinks. Cleaning crews go in right after a team clears out. Big, good size, well organized pro shop with gear a plenty. Second floor are the viewing stands and a snack bar. The snack bar is between glass along the center line so one can watch games in warmth if so chosen. There’s also a video game arcade topside to send the bored siblings drug along to the games. Parking lot could be a bit bigger is the only real complaint.

I enjoy skating here a lot. The ice is always really good. The staff has always been friendly to me. I like to go to the speed skating sessions here. I highly recommend this facility for any skater.

Ice skating in Santa Clarita you got it. This place is huge. There’s a team hockey rink, general skating rink, tiny tot rink, cafeteria, pro shop… they have it all. It’s nice to do some skating and then grab a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie… good cookies.

We had a similar experience at this place as another reviewer. My daughter was skating and fell causing two fractures to her tibia and one to her fibula three days before Christmas. Excruciating pain ensued, not to mention what I’m sure will be months in a full plaster leg cast. We are only on day 3 now and the whole experience has been a complete nightmare. True it was my 9 year old’s fault that she fell, but there was completely no help or concern from Ice Station personnel. There was no follow up whatsoever and upon getting to the hospital we were told that another child had been admitted earlier with a similar injury. Of course ice skating can be dangerous, but it’s just completely ridiculous for a business to conduct itself in this manner. It’s bad business! And the most insensitive way to treat other people, especially children. Spreading the word all over this valley to boycott this place!

If you are coming for the«family snow day» I would think twice. They advertise to play in the snow and bring your sled. Uh, no. Unless you have Stuart Little as a child there will be no sledding. They dump one little pile of snow and say have at it. To their credit, you can also skate and the it is normally $ 12 per child for that. Unfortunately, if your kids do not ice skate then it is a waste of money in my opinion.

I like playing here, and the adult classes for hockey are great with Tony. Great guy and teaches for any skill level. Only reason i gave 3 stars is because this place is impossible to call and speak to someone! No one answers the phone!!! Valley ice center is on point about answering the phone. I dont want to drive all the way to the rink to get some information!

I came in to the pro shop on Saturday to take a gander at all of the hockey gear, as I just joined a women’s group and I’m super stoked about it. An awesome dude by the name of Cameron took the time to walk me through all of the gear needed, helped me determine my sizes for everything, and was super knowledgable. In the end I only bought the skates because hockey gear is pricey and I’ll need to collect the items slowly, but I really appreciated the kindness and professionalism Cameron came with when helping me. He made me feel very comfortable! Thank you, Cameron & hopefully I can get the ladies and myself to rent out the rink one of these days!

Drop the tablets, log-off of Netflix, and bring the kids to Ice Station! This was our first trip and we absolutely loved it. The kids used the walkers to get started on the ice but after about 30 minutes, they gained enough courage to fly solo. I really liked the fact that this place is huge and can accommodate large crowds. It’s great for birthdays and special events. It was about $ 10 for each kid so take advantage of that. If you’re a first-timer, dress warm cause it’s cold in there.

Wow. I simply cannot express my dislike in this place enough. So sad that I’d have to give a one-star rating. It’s all due to one experience too, I fell on the ice and severely fractured my left arm, this was my own fault of course! But when I fell nobody came, cause nobody was watching… and when someone came they insisted I skate back WITHANARM I KNEWWASBROKEN! They then realized the wrongdoings in their ways, walked me back and sat me down on a bench so I could hold my arm and wait for a ride! No medical aid, pain meds, or anything were given! Horrible place, feels like hell to me now.
