These guy’s run a great business, They have always been fair when buying and when selling to my son and I. I stop in probably 1 to 2 times a month to see whats available in the metals market. Always end up buying something made of silver! Always pleased with them.

Had a great experience buying jewelry for Christmas. A friend recommended them and as soon as I was let in the store, they exceeded my expectations. Very knowledgeable staff and I never got the feeling they were trying to short change me. They treated me as if I were family. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The hours published on Unilocal and on their answering machine are 10 – 6 on Saturdays. I drove out from out of town and was there by 5:40 and they were completely closed, lights off, no one there. Not cool to close before published hours, especially when customers may be coming from out of town.

Note to gold shop: You may want to remove your «Highest payouts in northern California» flashing banner on your website! Or perhaps put an asterisk next to it and at the bottom of your webpage note «excludes coins.»
I was doing my homework, calling a few shops around Solano County and this was by far the lowest rate given on my gold coins. Their offer was $ 23-​$ 35 LESS per coin than one within the same city, let alone county. So yeah, highest payouts? I think not.
During my phone call I couldn’t clearly understand the gentleman either, so I asked again what the price range was and his response was «I just told you.» I mean really that’s your response? Even if the rates were competitive based on this phone call alone I didn’t get a friendly vibe and would be more inclined to go elsewhere, as relationships matter to me when I deal in gold.
I can’t speak for other items, but if you’re selling them coins, make sure you do your homework before considering them.

I came here to sell 2 of my rings that I no longer where. The man that helped me was very kind and very sweet. He made the process quick and explained every step of the way. I sold my rings here and would definitely come back. He even rounded up my payout because I just had a past birthday. Thanks a bunch!

I looked up gold places in the area that are open on Sundays this place had 5 stars and said it was open. When I showed up the door was locked an says appointment only on Sundays. What a waste of time. I saw someone walk in right as I pulled up but no answer on the phone. I gave one star cause I find it very inconvenient to false advertise your hours. I wouldn’t have wasted my time and just gone somewhere else.

I sold some old and broken gold pieces to Solano Coin and was paid 25% more than what I was offered at another local gold shop. This place is run by a bunch of men and could seem intimidating but the second you walk into the door, you are greeted with warm smiles and nice conversation. The store is always neat and clean and furnished with couches and coffee to sit in comfort if there is a wait. They are constantly increasing their inventory and the jewelry selection is always abundant with new items. I love browsing in here and brought my friend who purchased beautiful 14k gold diamond earrings.

these guys really know what they are talking about. they are very helpful and fair, if I may say. this is my second favorite place in the world.
