Kumon Math and Reading Center of Vacaville

My son has been going to Kumon since the beginning of the school year (first grade). When my child began, he barely knew his alphabets (to my surprise) although he recognized his alphabets, he could not recall them as well. Dr. Chen noticed right away that my son assimilated letters as symbols and tried a different teaching approach. He is doing so much better with his reading and comprehension. He is showing so much more confidence and his improvement has been noted by his first grade teacher. This was the best thing we have done for our son. Dr. Chen is a wonderful teacher. My son respects him and loves going to Kumon. He pushes my son (gently) but assertive enough to encourage him to keep going with his study and actually enjoy learning overall.

I have worked here, and have had friends get tutoring here for 1.5 years now. The teaching assistants are so nice and helpful.
Dr. Chen, the owner is very thorough and makes sure the academic work assists with school learning .
The center is very committed with having their kids learn .
However at peak hours 3:30 — 5:30, center gets loud and very busy.
Best to come before 3:30, or after 5:30.
