I order take-out from this place all the time and I love their dishes. We usually get chow fun, honey walnut shrimp, and sweet and sour chicken. All are delicious! They are generous with the meat portions.(Sometimes other Chinese restaurants give you a ton of pineapple and not very much sweet and sour chicken– not the case here!) The price is fair. Whatever you do, don’t bother eating in the restaurant. Dragon Palace is a great restaurant for takeout, but not dining in. I recently went with my boyfriend and another couple(we didn’t feel like dirtying up dishes) and the service was horrible. The woman was nice enough, but she seemed scattered. The dishes came out one at a time and took quite a while. Long story short: phone in your order and pick it up, but don’t bother dining in.

The $ 6.95 lunch special is a steal if you dine in – large portions plus soup and salad! I have enough leftovers to eat for dinner and I’ll definitely be back.

Definitely my favorite Chinese food place in town! The food is full of flavor and plentiful. It isn’t a huge or fancy establishment but don’t let the look of the place be a deterrent. You can’t beat the price either :)

I’ve been here several times to eat with my family and today we came in and no one greeted us. After we ordered we had to get our own drinks out of the fridge and our chow mein barely had any meat or shrimp. After asking the waitress why there was hardly any meat she said that’s how they«do it now» I’m very disappointed and I will not be coming back.

Absolutely love this place. Always excellent food! They even deliver. This option however does take a bit of time, but beats the alternative. I’ve only had one issue when ordering online. I didn’t get some items I order, rather received some one else’s items. Now with that I’m not sure if I had accidentally pushed the wrong item on the menu or it was their mix up. That of all times was the only problem I had. This is the only Chinese restaurant I recommend in the area.

Tasty. Decent amount of food for $. About $ 10 cheaper than Wah Shine for 2 plates Togo.

Dragon Palace Restaurant(DPR) is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Vacaville. Their Singapore Rice Noodle, Mandarin Chicken(Extra Spicy), and House Special Chicken(Extra Spicy) are the items I recommend, if you enjoy spicy Chinese. «Spicy» is a relative term. Your spicy might not be the same as my spicy. I used«Extra Spicy» because when I phone in my orders, I always ask for extra spicy and it doesn’t reach my level of spiciness. It’s OK. It’s Chinese and not Thai food. If you want to try out DPR, I recommend the items I like and order the items as-is. If you think the as-is needs more spice, the next time you try again, ask for«Extra Spicy.»

This is a very good take out-delivery Chinese Place. I’ve ordered from them twice now and both times the food has been delicious. So far, my family and I have had: Mapo Tofu, spring rolls, hot and sour soup, wonton soup, shezwan chicken, shrimp lomein, and spicy eggplant. Everything– with exception of the eggplant-was really yummy. The flavors were well balanced, and the food was nicely prepared. Sadly, the eggplant fell a little short of my expectations, as is was a bit greasy and not very nice. Everything else, though, I can highly recommend. If you live within their delivery area, they are totally worth a go. They even have a super-convenient online menu and app. for ordering. On a stressful, busy day when I am too tired to cook, this is a WONDERFUL alternative to pizza delivery!

Wasn’t the best Chinese food, but wasn’t the worst either. Soup was not great. Chow mein was decent and so were put entrees. Update: since our first experience we have ordered a few more times. Every time after our food has been great. In fact this is now probably our favorite Chinese food in town!

We had high hopes for this place, as the reviews seemed really positive. Unfortunately, this was mediocre-good. Not great. I’m on the border of giving this 3 stars but just can’t bring myself to do it. If you want salty, spicy, fried chunks of «chinese restaurant flavored chicken», go for it. That’s what we got; no veggies at all, just fried meat loaded in sauce. That said, the flavor of the chicken – we tried the«generals chicken» and the orange chicken – was good; lots of sauce, dripping with it, though, so that was a bit much. The meat was crispy and did have a good flavor, but I really wanted the balance of some sauteed veggies. The pork fried rice had a good flavor and was sprinkled with peas and carrots, so that was something. I will say, the portions were huge! We got 2 dinners and had enough leftovers to satisfy a teenaged boy after swim practice. Probably 3 cups of fried meat on each plate, and 4 cups of cooked rice at least. Huge portions, so the value is good and if you just like a lot of food, this would work. We might be back, as we saw some other guests with other more diverse looking dishes, so there is more to try. And while the dishes we had weren’t great, they were fine. Service was pretty good, fairly fast(although we were in a hurry at the end and the waitress disappeared). The restaurant was relatively clean, the décor a bit cluttery, but no big deal; it’s a shopping plaza chinese place. Bottom line – if you want huge portions of fried, saucy meat, this is your place.

Really good for no msg. No headache the next day is always a plus! We enjoyed the lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken, chow mein, fried rice, dumpling soup and cream cheese wonton. But didn’t like so much a few other items. Plates were large in portions. Plenty to take home for our family of 7! And the Waitress was really nice. I would recommend take out not eat in only bc of the smoke shop nxt door seaps through the walls… not too pleasant if you have asthma… Overall, we will definitely being doing take out from now on!

Craved Chinese food and found this place on Unilocal. They have a quaint clean dining area. We ordered fried rice, chowmein, lemon chicken and Winston soup. All was good except for the wonton soup. It had a funny taste. My mom tried it and immediate recognized that the wonton was spoiled. Yuck, thankfully I didn’t get sick. But never again. No thank you.

Best Chinese food I’ve ever had!!! Their chow mein is PERFECT, as well as their orange and sweet and sour chicken!!! Only thing that wasn’t my favorite was their pot stickers. The best part is that they have a free delivery service, and its pretty quick!

The food pretty is good but as far as delivery goes… on 4SEPARATE occasions we have ordered cherry chicken but they have brought us curry chicken. When they did it yet again tonight(even though I made sure to clarify when ordering) the lady that answered the phone told me in a VERY rude manner that I had 3 options… I could get something free next time, I could go somewhere else because their driver is also their chef every Monday, or finally I could get it at some point tonight and she literally yelled at me when I asked for an ETA. How can you run a business having your only chef delivering food??? I’m not lazy but am simply using a delivery service they advertise. So now I have one kid that is left out of Chinese night because that’s the only thing she likes. Thanks Dragon Palace for rude service. If you would have spoke to me without screaming at me we would have had NO issue at all like the 3 previous times! Your busy night is NO reason to treat me as though I was in the wrong and is no reason to demonstrate a complete lack of professionalism.

We heard this place was great. We had the pot stickers, bacon chow mein, and moo shu vegetable. To be honest I was a little disappointed. Maybe I tried the wrong items, but what we had was very average Chinese food. The place is a little«divey» with outdated tables, chairs, plates, cups, etc… I’m thinking it’s more of a to go place. I didn’t think it was horrible, but I was expecting to be wowed and I was not.

I’ve been going to this place since high school, which was needless to say, a very long time ago. I always get the same thing, honey walnut shrimp and combination Hong Kong style chow mein(crispy noodles). Always fantastic and consistent. Now when I’m in town, I typically order it to go, and love that they put the sauce in a separate container to keep the noodles crispy. Good luck finding a better walnut shrimp anywhere in California. A caveat though if you are eating in, service is slow. But I promise, it is worth the wait. I have yet to find any place in Seattle that rivals my little hole in the wall. Nice to know some things never change.

Amazing quality, diversity, and customer service. A steady stream of people picking up take-out indicated it was a good local favorite restaurant, and they were right. We ate the combo meal for 2 for $ 11.75 each. It was a huge quantity of food, with several tasty entrees and sides. I look forward to returning anytime I’m in the area.
