Best deal around! We went last night for the fourth of July and listened to the great sounds of Time Bandits(side note: great cover band — went from Mungo Jerry’s «in the summertime» to Beyonce’s «crazy in love» with finesse). The setup is as follows: pass through security(tip for ladies — open your purse to make it quick for everyone), show ID if you’re drinking and pay your $ 2 p/p.(Score! It was free for the fourth of July) Scope out a spot, bring a chair or a blanket, the venue is raked so that the people in the nosebleed section can still see. Food is on one side of the park and alcohol on the other, long lines at the alcohol discouraged me from purchasing a glass of wine. Two lines to be exact, one to buy tokens to then buy alcohol. I’m not that determined to get my drink on. Food options are standard fare(fries, lumpia, tacos, bbq, hot dogs), not a foodie’s paradise. Also, the lines for the bathrooms are ridiculous. All in all, a good time, very diverse crowd, and save the two minor dings, we’ll be back!

The Vacaville Creekwalk is a great place to spend a Friday night with the family! Admission is currently $ 2.00 a person(cash). Bring your ID if you want to buy a beer or a margarita. There are also several food and product vendors. I believe there is an ATM on site. For those who regularly attend Creekwalk you can purchase an annual pass and bypass the LONG entry lines!
