They have everything to make u feel like you left Union Cty and landed on the boardwalk!
The selections are perfect, even for the health conscious and little kids!

I was offered a sample of their wings, crispy and delicious with awesome hot sauce. I will be back soon. Very nice staff.

I just called here to speak with the manager regarding a simple inquiry. A female answered the phone shouting because it was apparently quite loud in there. She was extremely rude and hostile with me on the phone when I asked to speak with the manager (after reading other reviews of this place, it’s apparent the woman at the counter has been the subject of other people’s unpleasant experience here). She told me he would be in tomorrow and to give a call back then. I asked her what her name was because I was unhappy with her attitude and hostility over the phone and refused to give me her name! In fact, she hung up on me! Extremely rude and unprofessional. Apparently she doesn’t want her name getting back to management in regards to a customer complaint but I will be calling back to speak with the manager about her awful and rude behavior and attitude. Is this how customers are treated at this location? Shouldn’t you provide your name when asked by a customer? I have only eaten from this place once and I can assure you I will NEVER eat from here again. The food wasn’t good and was hastily thrown together. Also on their menu there is no mention of the $ 2 delivery fee OR the $ 10 minimum order. Isn’t that information slightly relevant when someone is browsing a menu? Why would they omit this? It was at this point when I told the girl on the phone that I felt misled that she reiterated the manager will be in tomorrow, yet she refused to give me her name and hung up on me instead. This is an outrage and I’m going to demand something be done about this! Couldn’t be more frustrated with the «service» I just received. I’ll be speaking with the manager in the morning

Wow… absolutely worth our trip at lunch to eat here. Great dogs… great dogs.
So two co-​workers and I, looking to hit as many of the
top 25 hot dog joints as we can, decided to take a ride to Union to sample Cioffi’s Boardwalk. Cioffi’s isn’t just dogs, you CAN get other food here, and it looks great-​in fact one of my coworkers bailed on the dogs and got a cheesesteak and he said it was amazing.
Anyway, back to the dogs. First off, they use Best’s Hot Dogs-​one of my favorites. The dogs are preheated in hot water and then grilled (though they seemed fried like Rutt’s Hut). I ordered one with kraut and mustard and one with cheese, kraut and mustard. My ONE negative about the place is the lack of toppings… ESPECIALLY the lack of chili. I love a good chili-​cheese dog, but You can’t get one here. What you DO get here is a great hot dog. Perfectly cooked, nice snap, not too much kraut, and the dogs are huge.
We asked about their wings and they gave us a small tray of tasters-​BBQ, Sweet/​sour, and spicy. Cooked to a perfect crispness (I like mine well done) these giant wings are french trimmed and full of flavor. The homemade sauces were pretty tasty… I’m normally the hot wing guy, but my favorite was the BBQ sauce-​really a nice smoky flavor with a touch of sweetness.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to pass by Cioffi’s without stopping in because these dogs, even without the chili may have broken the top five for me. I really wish I could better describe how happy we were with this place… and by the way, the manager was an awesome guy. Stop by… you won’t be disappointed.

Disappointed. My first time here. I ordered what’s called a Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak. It wasn’t that. It was huge chunks of dry chicken with cheese on a dry roll. It came with no sauce or ranch. The sauce would have made the dry chicken a little more palatable. Without it, it was impossible to finish. I had a couple bites and gave the rest to my dog.

Diggity Dog: 9/​10, Dog Man Sac 8.5÷10. J. Diggity said, «Had this Best production hot dog, it’s a long dog — no chili here. Spicy mustard (Brown mustard), raw onion, we got a deep water, steamed in water, then on the griddle/​grill. This thing came out fantastic. Full of flavor. A lot of snap. I also added on there a long (hot) pepper. Had to have that — had to have some spice in there. That added to it since they didn’t have the chili. It was really good. I’m going overall with the flavors I had, a 9.0 for Cioffi’s in Union, NJ.» Dog Man said, «John told you everything you need to know… although he did not tell you that we sprinkled some sriracha sauce on there, along with a long hot pepper. Remember folks, this is a Best’s beef (natural casing) hot dog. All beef, long dog — first simmered in a steam bath, then put on a flat top griddle (actually a grill). Finished off nicely — a very HOT dog if you noticed. There was steam coming out of that dog. It was very warm to the taste. Flavorful… it was great. I’m an 8.5 today only because for me, I really was missing the chili. For me the dog was 8.5÷10»

I wouldn’t go back. No organization, I ordered my food and only got part of my small order.
Got back to the office to eat my lunch and threw it right in the garbage. It was so greasy and literally had juices flowing from the sand which.
Other people on here are right as well. People wiping their heads with their food gloves.
Pretty gross. Never again.

The staff is amazing! I love the bread that the sandwiches come in. I like the buffalo chicken steak. The only thing is their is so much hot sauce on it but it is very tasty! The reason it’s not getting 5 stars is because one time I went in there and I saw an employee sagging his pants. I rather not see someone’s butt while they are preparing my delicious food.

Waited a significant amount of time for my cheesesteak and fries. The fries ended up being cold. The best part of the meal was the fountain Gatorade. For a «boardwalk style» cheesesteak, I’ve had better. The lady at the counter was pretty miserable. A smile goes a long way.

If you like bad attitudes, cold fries and watching the cooks wipe their faces with their gloves and touch everything around them then touch your food, this place is for you! Decent cheese steak, nothing close to «boardwalk style» as they advertise. Workers are rude and make you feel unwelcome as I just spend $ 20 bucks for dinner for two people. Bathroom is gross and the place has a dirty vibe. Our fries came out cold and we asked for new ones and got the inevitable eye roll.
I should of went to 5 Guys, I value their consistency in quality.

Cheesesteak was okay, nothing like a boardwalk cheesesteak. Bread is pretty cold and breaks apart. Would rather drive down the shore than drive here.

Went today and brought home 4 cheesesteak sandwiches, order of wings, and 2 deserts, $ 51. Not great. I’ve been to every Jersey boardwalk and this place does not compare. The sandwiches were soggy, sloppy to eat, so much cheese could not taste the meat! Worse wings I ever had. Very dry and crunchy, sauce on the side was very bitter and tastes like seafood. Only get the drumstick end of the wing. Funnel cake was eh. The zeppoles were very dry and mealie in center.
We won’t be going back, I’m sorry I cheated on Glendale’s pizzeria. They still have the best food, especially cheesesteak sandwiches!

Went there last night with my wife the food was good but the staff made it really enjoyable, they were funny, and friendly! Will definitely eat there again!

This place is a GREAT idea. I was excited to come here, so I dragged the work crew on a Friday when they first opened. The service was pretty fast and friendly, considering it was a bit busy. It’s really nice inside.
but the food is meh. It’s not worth the pricing at all. The main menu items are pricey, and they don’t come with sides. The sides themselves are priced crazy, as well as the drinks (in small cups!). The food wasn’t terrible — just not worth the pricing at all. There are so many alternatives around for food that is just as good or better and prices that are worth it.
I absolutely would have loved to try some of the deserts, but I didn’t feel like spending a fortune on lunch. Nothing there was reasonable. I was so disappointed, and there’s no way that I’d get the crowd to go back.

It was ok. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. It comes with buffalo sauce and ranch. I don’t think they put either on, so I grabbed hot sauce and put it on myself. Pretty dry otherwise. The fried Oreos were ok and the banana dessert was good also. I was mostly just put off by the sandwich. It wasn’t as big as I’d hoped either.
The staff was nice and the place itself was clean.

This is a great concert for restaurant to have Broadwalk food up in Central Jersey I had two cheese steak with cheese with onions peppers sandwich was pretty good but very small for the price I will go back to try some other items the staff was pretty good even though they did not ask if I had been there before and make suggestions since its a new place

Great place! Made me think of being down by the jersey shore without making the trip. Cheesesteak and Mac & cheese bites are definitely recommended !

Picnic tables and places to stand when you walk in from rt 22 E side. Bathroom was clean. Menu is basic food. Ordering was easy with a choice of toppings for 45 cents a piece (onions, peppers and mushrooms included in the original price) Fountain soda or cans. An array of sauces and some vinegars. I ordered the cheesesteak. It was decent. Service was eh. No greeting or «have you been here before.» Doors were open so not sure if there’s air conditioning.

This review is solely on the funnel cake. I actually wanted zeppoles, but they didn’t have them & instead they had funnel cake. Which I actually like even better, so I was super excited!!! but I don’t know what that was when the girl handed me that sad & gross looking thing & they had the nerve to charge $ 3.75 for it! It didn’t even look like a funnel cake & it was hard like toe nails! So disgusting. Def will not be back for that, if for anything else. What a disappointment…
