Yokayo Bowling Center

Fun times out bowling! With full bar and music playing, they open at noon for early day games or late night exercise. One thing tho, would be great if they had better AC… Gets way too hot in there I may stay longer but find myself driven out for fresh air.

This place is so great I almost couldn’t handle it. Came here on a Monday around 5 pm. I guess they have happy hour from 4pm to 6pm. $ 2 pints of domestic beer! The only thing that was negative is the fact they do a league on Mondays that cut our first visit there that night short. We only got to play one game before the leauge took priority at 6pm. Nevertheless, this place totally redeemed itself by having $ 2 bowling after 9pm when leauge ended. $ 2 a game, $ 2 shoe rentals and my favorite deal $ 2 pints of beer. We were able to reserve a lane before we had departed our fist vist. It was a little tricky finding something to do for three hours while we waited for the league to end, (We live an hour away on the coast) so we lingered at the lake for a while then had a nice dinner at our new favorite restaurant in the area Saucy (Wrote a previous review on Saucy a few months back). Upon our return the parking lot was packed, I’m so glad we reserved a lane at this point. I headed right back to the bar to capitalize on the $ 2 pints. About three games of bowling, (maybe four) things started getting a little hazy from my exploits of the $ 2 pints, my wonderful woman had found out that $ 2 bowling got better with some semi-​sobering $ 2 appitzzers. Your choice or fries or nachos. I went for the nachos because nachos are awesome, these were basic nachos of just chips and cheese, but for $ 2 what do you expect? They were able to add some jalapeños to them that did me right. Anyway, they have a full bar and I started in on the whiskey and became a hot mess. So my woman had to pull me out of there, I don’t think we finished our last game, but all said and done, we totally had a great time there for less than I ever expected.

We had so much fun doing rock and bowl. Make sure you come when Lisa is working the bar. She is super funny and makes the best drinks. I was really impressed with the food selection and prices. This place should be the new hangout spot in Ukiah because they have a bar, good food, games and you can watch sports here. There is a huge back room with a stage that they rent out for parties and events. I give it a five star rating all around!!!

We came in on a Sunday to catch up with some friends and over an hour an a half into our stay we were shocked when the blonde clerk came running over. Before we could even tell the lane had gone dark, she started pointing at us saying «I shut you down».
She was extremely hostile and said we had not paid for the game we were playing. Instead of informing us there was a mistake we were attacked and accused of basically sealing the bowling time .
Two people pulled out wallets to buy another game (I’m still convinced we already paid) but instead of offering to take payment for another game, we where just not welcome anymore. We are 4 grown adults who had purchased food, drinks and several games already. Instead of saying there was a mistake we were yelled at and treated like loitering kids. There is no excuse for someone to be this nasty. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

This is a very nice place the bar is absolutely very stocked! It’s Sunday and a very rainy day! Very packed bring your family and grab a beer!

I was at this bowling alley last week and was super impressed with this place. It was really clean. The lanes and scoring machines are top of the line. The staff came over and asked if I needed anything from cocktails to food AND then even brought over free popcorn. I had a great time bowling in such a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. I give this place five stars without a doubt!

Yokayo bowling center has something for everyone. The kids had fun using the pink dinosaur to help throw the balls down the alley. Never mind that they have bumpers that automatically come up with a your name, if you need them. This is handy when bowling with kids or handicapped adults. The food menu is your typical alley food but surprisingly good. The grilled cheese on wheat was grilled to perfection. The cocktail lounge is impressive. They can make any drink that you desire. They are reasonably priced.
The back room can be rented for birthday parties, retirement parties, etc.
I will go back as often as I can. The fun and price of the fun is perfect!

They have a new thing for Friday night called ROCK’N Bowl! It is so awesome. They replace the regular fluorescent lights with BLACK LIGHTS and then have lasers and disco balls and strobe lights that react to the high energy music!
It is surreal, it is awesome, I want to go back SOOON. Food is not overpriced, they have a 2 cheese mozzarella stick thingy that is awesome as are their fries. I plan on eating dinner there next time just because it is reasonably priced.
They have a bar too. I have had bad bartenders whom don’t know how to make drinks nor handle a few customers at a time but I don’t go there to drink. Out in the lanes there are staff making sure everything is kept to a FAMILY rating so all is safe and happy and nice, just how I like it.
All the lanes are KILLER looking and the pins under the black-​light are a blast to um, blast =)
Wear your rave glow sticks and stuff that reacts to black lights!

Rock and Bowl is coming back!!! I can’t wait!!!

Ya gotta love it when you’re a big city homo and you go to a bowling alley far away from a big city, with your boyfriend, and you feel totally unwatched. That’s really cool. And, that’s what happened here. I also bowled the best I have in many years.
They need more balls though. We had to scavenge and the selection was scant.
