Server not knowledgeable on menu & could tell me what the sauce was or cut of meat was on surf & turf. Took forever to get ticket. Menu not very diverse, unless you come here for sushi.

I basically had one of the best brunch experiences of my life. I had steak for breakfast. That’s right, steak. Delicious, perfectly medium rare, coffee crusted, texas steak. My Lord– That’s what breakfast should be. My husband had a super-scrumptious-crab-benedict-gloriousness. I only had a bite, but I wanted more. We also drank our weight in coffee and nobody complained. Our waitress was super nice and kept it coming.

I had never been to Cork before… we went last night to see Chance Pena perform & I must say it is now my new favorite restaurant. The food was amazing & the service was perfection.

I’m giving 4 stars for effort and flavors. I was a solo patron, traveling on business. I typically seek farm to table and craft eateries. I prefer to eat gluten free and paleo. The miso soup had a lot of extras and the flavor was 5⁄5 stars. Not typical(cabbage, peppers, rice) of authentic miso(tofu and seaweed, yes), but welcomed. The rice was a little bit too much though. I really wanted to finish the bowl because the broth was delicious, but didn’t want the extra rice. Peppadew Peppers 5⁄5 Shrimp Mezcal 4⁄5: the flavors were really, really good! This was probably my favorite dish, however, I was a bit disappointed that the polenta was breaded. This could have been a healthier dish without the extra fried panko crust. Next time I’ll try one of the craft cocktails. Currently abstaining.

Cork is one of my favorite restaurants in Tyler. It is locally owned and operated, and that is always a plus to me. The head chef comes from France, so the dishes are sophisticated, and the combination of flavors is transcontinental. The weekend brunch is delicious, and they have great specials almost every day, like Sunday’s BOGO sushi. They regularly feature live music and DJs on the weekends. My favorite waitress is Natalie. She is genuinely friendly and helpful, and happily attentive. She is one in a million.

One star is for the cool male bartender, love to find these style places across the country. Went there while passing through tonight just for some decent coffee as an alternative to Starbucks or similar and was charged 6.50 for a small amount of decent(but not exceptional) coffee! I could have bought a good craft beer or glass of wine for the same amount or less than coffee that had a couple lukewarm top offs. And not being told these top offs were each being charged separately! And served partly but an unfriendly female manager. This is a place calling itself casual in one of least Modern and desirable parts of the country, frequented by mostly Texas rednecks, and yet I’m paying more for coffee than you would in Napa or Sonoma(where I used to work) for a pot of top quality French Press in a world renowned and very expensive area! And you would ALWAYS be told if any kind of refill was extra, even with those places catering to higher class and $$ types. That’s just proper service anywhere, even in your basic local coffee shop or Napa, Boulder, etc. Hell, for a couple bucks more I could’ve bought the $ 20 worth of food and drink for $ 10 deal that they have on Unilocal and gotten all sorts of varied goodies. Not ok, Cork, and I where as I was looking forward to recommending this place to the local friends I was visiting I now will not, nor am I anxious to return to try some of the food or cocktails as I was before. Very bad taste in my mouth.

I been there a couple times the food for the price. I did not get my bang for my Buck and the last time I was there a big dude there muscle was very rude to me. I just left didn’t fuss. But it was the last time there for me.

First time going here and it was great! Large drink menu. Crab cakes are amazing, as we’re the garlic edamame. Live music. Will definitely come back to try other menu items

We went for Sunday brunch and it wasn’t too bad. On Sunday’s, mimosas are $ 5 per glass, a pitcher for $ 16, and unlimited $ 21 per person. We ordered the French toast and chicken waffles. The chicken and waffles was better and spicier. There was a ton of food, but definitely not complaining about that ;) The setting was nice and small. It had bar seating, tables and private rooms.

Solid food. Lil’ crab cake bites and fried nicely. The remoulade gives it a nice kick, but not over powering. The o.m.g sushi is nicely constructed. The sushi rice was okay. The other ingredients really made up for it. Shrimp mescal– I wasn’t able to have the polenta cake. The brown rice was okay with it, but I can definitely see how the polenta would have taken it up a notch. Obviously fresh ingredients. Shrimp just a tiny hair over done but tasty none the less. Waygu slider– Nice portion of protein. The pickle gives is a more complex flavor. Bread is nice and buttery. Perhaps a touch too salty for me, but for the general population, tasty. Marscapone cheese cake of awesomeness. Get this. Your taste buds will thank you. Not over overwhelmingly sweet. The crust has a marvelous crunch. Pumpkin crème brulee– nice pumpkin flavor! Consistency more like a pudding rather than a custard. The Ceme on top is light and airy. Nicely complements the dense«pudding». Nice wine list. If you enjoy rye, get the The Trinadad sour. Has a nice dose of bitters that is balanced with the tart and the sweet. Again, not overly sweet, but that’s how I like my drinks. Skip the house old fashioned, or sub-out the bourbon. Bonus: They had live jazz this evening. Very nice ensemble. The ambiance of this place is what I would call homey upscale.

Steak. Sushi. Mashed taters. Red wine. Atmosphere. Live jazz. Um hello, is there anything else you really need in life? Doubt it. The waitresses are all so sweet, efficient, and accommodating. We had to change our reservation and they were more than helpful in getting us seated and close to the music playing that evening too. Also try the roasted brussels sprouts with balsamic… absolutely fantastic! If I’m ever in little country town East Texas Tyler again I’ll make sure to swing by this place. Right up my alley… it’s romantic, good variety of tasty items(including tapas!) and stands out among the sea of selections on this street. Yum yum!

Sliders. Kobe Beef — Excellent 8⁄10. Pulled Pork — Above Par 7⁄10. Primarily 25 – 45 yo patronage. Music — Two piece, Guitar/Vocals & Drums/Backup Vox. Rap to rock to alternative. Entertaining, Lively, loud but not intrusively so.

The food was a tale of two city’s. We had Brunch which I love to eat anywhere. Mine was the Crawfish Eggs Benedict, was did not have any visible hollandaise sauce on it, and when I ask for some to put on, the staff acted offended. My friend got chicken and waffles and hers was pretty tasty. We both ordered mimosas which were room temperature, gross. Will not be back.

Boyfriend and I came here the day before Valentine’s Day, HA! First off, I enjoyed the intimate lighting and live band playing in the corner. I highly recommend the kobe beef sliders. We had that as an appetizer, and it was probably the best burger I’ve had in East Texas so far. The sweet potato fries that came with the pub burger were also amazing. My cocktails were great; pricey, but I knew what I was getting into. I actually didn’t like my last drink, so my waiter switched it out for the cork sour. Thank you for the fantastic service Hunter! I had a wonderful experience here. I’d come more often if it didn’t take so long to drive from Longview!

We loved our dinner. We had a champagne cocktail to start that was just perfect. We also had the California Roll, Sushi Roll, the pub burger and the Brussels sprouts. Everything was perfect and so good. We couldn’t decide which dish we loved most — they were all that good. The waiter was very attentive and friendly and actually knew the menu really well.
