We used to eat there frequently as I love Chinese food. However, the last time my husband surprised me with dinner it was awful! We threw three plates of food away. The quality has definitely declined. Passion Desert is much better!

Super fresh food. They don’t make so much it just sits there for hours. They are constantly rotating food. The customer service is great. They will make any item fresh from you just ask. Takes 5 minutes. I’m really picky about my food. I moved here from LA last year and find this fast food Chinese as good as any fast food Chinese in LA. Took me forever to check it out due to the reviews so I had to leave this. They deserve some stars for sure and those bad reviews are unjust in my opinion. Peace

This place used to be pretty good, but the last couple of times, not so much. IDK if management changed or what, but the food just isn’t fresh. I had the combination noodle soup last time, thinking it’d be like phở, but it was more like cheap ramen with some meat and veggies thrown in.

A MUST! The food was authentically scrumptious Chinese cuisine. Also the family deal was at a great price and we had a lot left over.

This place used to be good and have lots of variety but what happened? Their buffet items often look and taste gross, and their side menu items are now severely limited. Do not order their phở despite the good price, it is served in a disposable plastic bowl and with a flimsy disposable spoon(bpa anyone??). ugh. And even the meat looked partially freezer burnt. I was horrified. I also had the two item plate but neither I nor my kids ate it. Consistency is important for a successful business, especially food. it’s too bad this place is going downhill.

Came here on a Sunday around noon to grab some food. This is located in a strip mall next to Country 29 Palms Inn. My friend bought one of their crunchy noodles packed in a ziplock bag for a dollar and found them to be stale(not crunchy that is). She returned it and they exchanged for another pack which was not good but at the same time better than the previous. I tasted jalapeño chicken and found it to be similar to orange chicken(sweet and no spiciness to it). The food didn’t look fresh and decided not to dine there. There were no vegetarian friendly items on the fast food section except for noodles/rice. My friend wanted to order vegetarian food and they informed us that you need to specially order them.

The cashier/server was really nice and the food was pretty good for being in the middle of the desert. I was a little sad that donuts aren’t offered anymore but it’s not enough to keep me away. Unlike the other reviewer, I did not find any bugs in my food.

I really enjoy this chinese food! My husbands favorite! No line, food is always fresh and fast service! You get in and get out! Portions are very generous! Food is just overall delicious. My favorite would have to be jalapeño chicken.

Watch out for roaches in your food! When it was brought to the cashiers attention all he said was«wow that’s really cooked in there huh?»

Very good food, served Panda Express style, so no waiting. I had the mushroom chicken, sweet n sour chicken, noodles, and fried rice. Great little restaurant and great prices!

No. Food was cold, everything tastes the same! Portions were large but I only took a few bites, I’m one of those weirdos that likes my foods hot. The place needed a good scrubbing, the walls and windows were filthy. The tables were grimey and nasty. Won’t be going back ever.

This is typical Panda Express kind of fare, except that they offer more variety in soups, and, of course Panda doesn’t have donuts. I ordered the combination noodle soup and a side of orange chicken. The soup was really good and had a lot of veggies and meat in it. It came with Brocolli, bock choy, green onions, pork, imitation crab, shrimp, mushrooms and noodles. The orange chicken was just okay. I like that they have shakes with tapioca and the price is right. I’d go back for more soup if I lived in this area.

I have never experienced a Chinese Restaurant without a single pork dish. Very limited a la carte menu and the rest of the orders were filled from a steam table. I took the food to go and was extremely disappointed in the beef and green bean dish. Very little, chewy beef and probably a pound of frozen green beans swimming in brown gravy with a side of steamed rice. I ended up throwing away because I found it inedible. They will not get another $ 10 from me!

It is typical Chinese fast food. 7 bucks for the 2 item meal. Sweet sticky sauces, fried, lots of breading, you know the deal :) I crave this stuff sometimes, ya know. It is pretty good for what it is and the portions are big. Had enough for 2 meals. I wish the spicy chicken dishes were spicier though, haha. The workers were really nice and the place is clean. Will go again probably try the other dishes and maybe try the a la carte stuff and the Phở.

I had just moved here and wanted to get some Chinese takeout. There were several in 29 Palms to choose from. My neighbor told me to go here. I got the combo #2 meal which came with chow mein noodles, fried rice, and then added orange chicken and the sweet and sour chicken. DELICIOUS!!! Some places serve orange chicken spicy. Not this place. It’s sweet and very good! I highly recommend the sweet and sour and the orange chicken!!! The staff there are very friendly as well!!! Inside the dining area is clean too! I highly recommend this place!!!

Best place for Chinese fast food and Thai Food in the desert! They have a second location that has donuts too in Desert Hot Springs if your ever heading that way.

Ordered the Pad Thai and they were out of it. Ordered the Phở. It was good. My husband had the Chinese food ordered from the trays. His food was luke warm. VERY slow service. Not a quick stop to or from the river!
