John’s Place Restaurant

Just a place with good breakfasts. Seems to have a variety of lunch and dinner items. And then Mexican foods. I usually have the chorizo burrito.

Mediocore food for high price. The food was cold when i got it. Plus there were 4 cashiers doing nothing in the front i dont understand why they cant bring a menu to my table? Coffee is self pour which is time consuming.

I had the gyro and fries combo. It was good but it could have been better. I usually love the food. The burgers are great.

My go to place for a quick bite. Their burritos are heavy on the sour cream but that’s ok by me.
I usually get the steak burrito. Ive had their sandwiches and breakfast etc. All the food is great and priced well.

Come around to refill coffee. The breakfast burritos were huge and the hashbrows were amazing. The only down side was when we ordered the girls weren’t as friendly.

Nice spot off of prospect and first street, across from McDonalds. I don’t exactly know why this place has 3 stars but I think it is well deserving of 4.

We couldn’t crack a smile from the cashier. She was a tough one to please. But the other employees were friendly and constantly checked up on us

Bacon and egg burrito
— Hefty portion size! Came with hash browns and tomato salsa inside the burrito. A lot of flavor and I would definitely order this again
Overall:
Don’t be shy, it doesn’t look that great from the outside, but it tastes pretty good.

Even though overpriced wannabe Yellow basket sounds delicious, it is not! This, yet again, overpriced restaurant serves cheap food. Also, the salad bar didn’t taste fresh! It is too small to be called an all you can eat salad bar. More like a «four or five option» salad bar. Also, dressings don’t count as a food group. The steak sandwich didn’t have any flavor and the bread tasted as if they had gotten it out of the packet and cut it (if it wasn’t cut already)! The only thing worth eating here are the fries (and that’s being generous)! I wouldn’t recommend this place at all! :-(

Dropped by for a quick bite to avoid traffic, I should have kept driving… Haha. Had the ‘Asada Burrito’ but was more like a sour cream filled burrito with the unwanted pieces of carne asada (had to use napkin twice since pieces are not chewable…)

Went to get something to eat yesterday they over charged me for my breakfast burrito I said I didn’t want any meat and to add avocado they charged me for both. I asked for a manager and Jasmine said we don’t do special orders for customers. I’m pretty sure your customers are paying your bills. Jasmine needs to be retrained!

As much as I love overpriced food that tastes horrible, I will not be coming back here… ick.
Salad at the salad bar wasn’t very fresh, burger tasted very odd, and it costs more than it should… should have walked a little farther to McDonald’s.

I’ve been there several times. This review is for their grilled cheese… It’s perfect every time!

The food here is not good. Having ordered the same omelette a half dozen times and trying to get them to not burn the eggs, but to no avail, I give up. The hash browns are cooked well, but have no flavor. Beyond that, it’s just bland, over-​priced junk food.
I haven’t had bad service, but it’s also never been great. The décor is reflects the mindset of the restaurateur. It’s dated, bland and makes you feel like you’re in a Denny’s straight out of 1980.
I wish there were an alternative drive thru in the area for an omelette or anything halfway healthy that I can eat on the run.

This place used to be a Farmer Boys restaurant that went independent. So keep that in mind, because their menu is very similar (if not exactly the same with most things).
The restaurant itself still has the same Farmer Boys feel, and very similar décor to what you would find in such a restaurant. They have a nice little outdoor seating area as well, which gives a pretty good view of a busy intersection.
That said, this place has killer breakfast burritos, and breakfast in general. They aren’t inexpensive (nearly $ 8), however, they are rather huge and filled with all of the eggy, meaty goodness you would expect in a great breakfast burrito. Plus, the tortillas seem very fresh and authentic. For lunch, they have great steak sandwiches and good size hamburgers.
Service wise, things can be a bit slow. However, if you aren’t in a hurry and are willing to wait, it shouldn’t be a problem. Just don’t come if you are short on time!
If you are looking for a non-​fast food burger place, than this will fit the bill nicely. Four stars!

I have been coming here since they opened. The restaurant is always clean, I get great service. I will never get tired of their Bacon Avocado Cheeseburgers!

This is like your typical char broiler joint. What I like is their dog friendly patio. You can’t go wrong either Their burger combo meals or BLT.

This place is a retirement home, complete with non-​English speaking employees that don’t give a crap about your order. Mine today had head phones in while she took my order! I had to explain 5 times that I’m allergic to sesame seeds, but what a shocker, she didn’t understand. Someone else came over and after about 10 – 12 shoulder shrugs, I walked out.
This could be the greatest burger around, but I’ll never know. In all seriousness though, it was dead in there and the people that were eating were all well over 70. That tells me the food sucks, older people tend to like bland fare.
Also, a burger combo is almost $ 10. Save your money, just my burger alone would have been $ 6 something.
Why do places like this still exist? In N Out sells a fantastic burger for like $ 2.

Well… I sure regret coming here for lunch. I should have just drove thru McDonald’s, bad but at least tastes WAY better! Soooo, there is no line in the drive-​thru, figured it should be fast, right? … NOPE! I waited like a while, which made me late for lunch. That;s –1 star. I asked for no sauces, got a hit load of sauce, pink vomit looking and lots of onion. –1 star. Oh! My meat, under cooked. My bread… cold. My fries super greasy .and i got diet coke instead of regular! WHAAAT THE NSAKHDSD!!!
So i am sitting back at work… starving. Yey! Wish i could get my $ 10 back!

It was close by to my work and I happened to have a coupon for it so why not try it! I had a coupon for a ¼ lb cheeseburger & fries for $ 3.19 + tax. So around $ 3.50 for a burger and fries doesn’t seem bad to me!
Cheeseburger has pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and thousand island dressing, but I asked for it without onions. The burger was your typical diner kind of burger so nothing different or special about it. Fries were thick cut so it’s not that crunchy.
Service was good. I walked in and was greeted and the lady went right to the register. Ordered my food and waited less than 10 minutes and my food was done and I was out of there!
