This is the NEW McDonald’s on 15^th ST. The new construction has just been completed and they opened just in time for the 1 year anniversary of the tornado of April 27, 2011. This is the tornado that destroyed the McDonalds on that day.
This is the newest concept for the McDonalds chain. The décor is contemporary with clean lines and cool colors. Functional and almost industrial chic are the things that come to mind looking at the interior. There is a flat screen tv and a wall with a display showing photos of several campus buildings.
The menu and food is truly McDonald’s…it is what it is. But, I am thrilled to see those Golden Arches on 15^th Street once again!
