Phone Restore

My drive from Atlanta to Tuscaloosa was going just fine until my car phone charger dropped from my phone… leaving the charger portion in my phone. I was driving at 70mph so my feeble attempts at removing the charger while driving straight and safely were no good. Also, my battery was draining and without the phone I’d have no clue where to go when I arrived in Tuscaloosa.
A quick search on Unilocal and I ended up driving to PhoneRestore. It was a little tricky to find as the store is sort of recessed in shopping center. My GPS basically took me to McDonald’s which doesn’t connect with the plaza where this store is. Direct yourself to the Subway, it is near there.
I walked in and an employee looked just about as stunned as I did at my problem. He took my phone and said he’d see what he could do. I took a seat in the waiting area and prepared to settle in for a while.
But I was only sitting for a few seconds when the guy came back out and presented me with my phone and the charge thingy removed! Horray! He explained that a pair of pliers solved the problem and that he tried my phone with a couple of chargers in the back and it was working just fine. I was so relieved.
When I asked what I owed, he said it was no charge. THAT is the kind of service that gets around (on Unilocal and on word of mouth) and would most certainly bring me back to this business the next time I had an issue with my phone. Definitely recommend.

Great guys who know their stuff. I’ve gone in twice because my phone was acting up and I couldn’t figure it out through internet searches. Both times they knew immediately what was wrong and fixed it (no charge!). Of course in both instances the problem was actually relatively simple and easy to fix, but they were extremely helpful all the same.
I have an Android phone, but I’m confident they could fix all manner of iOS issues to save you a trip to the Genius Bar in Birmingham.

I took my daughter’s phone in, they were lightening fast, obviously knew what they were doing and reasonable in cost.
