Home2 Suites

My husband and I came to town for one night for a concert. We wanted to stay somewhere nice that would allow us to walk everywhere. I narrowed my search down to Home2 Suites and Embassy Suites. I was able to book a very spacious room for $ 75 – 100 less than Embassy Suites. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was spacious with full-​sized appliances and a modern bathroom, and they offer a free breakfast each morning. We were kind of sad we only booked one night! We will definitely choose a Home2 Suites where available when we travel.

As a frequent business traveler I’ve seen a handful of «bargain» hotels, both in big chain hotels and smaller boutique hotels. This establishment is top of the line, definitely my favorite in the area. This hotel has it all – convenient location, wonderful staff, and a modern, clean and comfortable design. The property has an outdoor community fire pit, indoor pool, and gym. Each room has a full kitchen with dishwasher and utensils! From booking my trips through the charming sales rep (Jasmine) to checking out to a big smile on the front desk clerk (Shar), I’ve found all of the staff to be delightful. I look forward to staying there for many years to come.

I’m here for work and staying the weekend. This place is great. Has great service and awesome staff. You can tell they take pride in making sure their guest are comfortable and safe. Great size rooms with very comfortable beds and all of the rooms are suites. Full size fridge and feeezer, dish washer, room has plates and everything. Doesn’t have a stove but bring a crock pot and it’s a nice home away from home.
Washer is $ 1.50 and Drier is $ 1.00 if you need to do laundry. Both work great. Also has a nice gym for the guest that want to get their swole on during their stay. Has a indoor pool only down side is no hot tub.
Awesome little lounge out front with a fire going to help you relax towards the evening.
Withing walking distance from great places to eat and a lot of bars within the area you can walk to. If I’m ever back in Tuscaloosa I’ll be staying here again.

This place is just too cute! It’s new, so the smell is a bit strong. But it’s adorable. It’s the perfect size room, larger than your typical hotel room. More like a mini suite. There’s a full sized fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. Nice modern bathroom. There are charging stations on the sides of the beds. (see pics). The parking is on site, which is appreciated in the downtown setting. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. (See other reviews). Receptionist Bryan is great. Warm, welcoming, and helpful.
Update:
After spending one night here, I will provide fair warning: if you have asthma, beware. With new construction comes breathing problems.
