Great bar and great music. With remodeling of the bar it is still one of the best in Timerson Square. I’ve had many drunken nights here with roommates and friends

Great spot for drinks with friends. New to the bar scene in Tuscaloosa. This is definitely not your soroity fraternity crowd. Which is great for me.

Love it for their $ 2.50 wells. :-) Great place to wind down after a long day, and a great place to hang out period. Cool people.

This is a great bar and local music venue to stop at during football season and throughout the year! There are always good local cover bands and regional bands playing the small stage at Filling Station. Throughout the week, there are always good beer and specials on well drinks, wine, and select shots like Jäger and Vegas bombs. In addition, there is a homely outdoor patio area in the back area, some good size flat screen televisions for viewing sports (in the main bar & back patio), and a dart board. However, be patient when waiting on service and keep in mind that it can get extremely crowded on the weekends because that’s exactly what you expect in a college town like Tuscaloosa. Also plan to arrive before 10:30 pm if you want to reserve a seating booth for your group of friends. By the way, Danielle is a great bartender who takes great care of patrons with a gracious attitude and a smile every time that I drop by when I’m in town. In addition, Eric the owner is nice fellow who regularly greets guests and mans the bar area with his staff to serve up drinks. Overall, the Filling Station is a great stop for Tuscaloosa locals and visitors alike seeking a solid place to catch sports, drinks, and hear live music at any time of the year.
