Looks like a new place that took over from the previous Thai restaurant. There are Thai and Korean dishes on the menu. I ate there for lunch and the food and service were both good. I had the Korean beef stir fry. The portion was large — would have liked a lunch portion.

Ok, I’ve resisted from giving this place a 2 star because service was good and quick, price was low, and my boyfriend thought his bibimbap was alright. That is about all the good stuff to say. I saw this on Unilocal while searching for other eateries and decided to have an early dinner here before our movie. I ordered spicy pork bulgogi and my boyfriend got chicken satay bibimbap. The proportion of both were more lunch than dinner, which was fine because we both have small appetites. My bulgogi was VERY dry, Extremely sweet, and sitting in watery sauce(like it was cooked with a can of Sprite). I had a taste of the bibimbap and the sauce definitely tasted wrong and vey different from anything I’ve ever had. The complimentary small dishes were a nice gesture, but tasted bland at best. So overall, it’s decent but not close to authentic. More like the Panda Express(Chinese-ish fast food) of Korean food. So if you’re looking for authentic Korean food in Tulsa, please go to Seoul. P. S. If you’re a boba tea fan, the Vietnamese restaurant next to Nam-Hai market is better.

The bibimbap is really good! I ordered strawberry boba and it kind of tasted like bubble gum. It was very very sweet, but I’m not the biggest fan of sugary drinks. Food was great, drinks were so-so.

Gogi Gui is definitely one of my new favorites! We came here over our lunch hour and the service was fast and so friendly. The location is a little bit off my beaten path and is kind of hidden within a strip mall but the interior is nice and clean. I ordered the pork tacos from the Korean Fusion menu and they were AMAZING. It comes with three good sized tacos with some type of green salsa. The flavors here are the perfect mix of savory, sweet, and wonderful. I also ordered the coconut boba tea(coconut was the only flavor they had even though there were a few listed on the menu) and it also was AMAZING. I’ve probably told about 10 people about how great this place is and I can’t wait to go back. I will most likely order the exact same thing because it was so good but I’m also looking forward to trying other items from their menu. Five stars for sure!

First visit was great. Six months later it was bad. Another couple months after that it was horrible. One of the brothers who helped start this restaurant ventured to something else and the quality of the food suffered tremendously. I’ve given this restaurant four chances to be consistently good and they could care less about the quality of their food in my opinion. I’m moving on.

Eat Here. I’ve been here twice and was not let down. Expectations weren’t high the first time, but I fell in love with the food. I came the second time with high expectations for my birthday and was not let down. I’ve tried pork bulgogi, bbq chicken bibimap, spring rolls, and both the pork and beef Gogi Fries, along with some boba tea. All dishes came to the table looking just like the pictures from other Unilocalers and their own menu and they tasted just as good and way better than expected. A must for everyone to try will definitely be the Gogi Fries, order them. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here and I can’t help, but think if they were located in a different place(i.e. Utica Square) there will be a waiting line. At least that is what my taste buds tell me.

We came here with a Groupon for two bubble teas, banchan, and two entrées. The service was good. We ordered strawberry bubble teas, beef bulgogi fries, and pad thai. The portions were massive. Everything was excellent, but the fries were spectacular! Truly can’t praise them enough. We will definitely be back.

Super yummy and unique with the Gobi fries and Bulgogi tacos. I’m not the biggest fan of the strip mall where the restaurant is located, but once inside you don’t notice what’s outside. Since it was our first time there and I’m preggers, we of course had to have everything. Lol We started with Thai tea with boba and a coconut milk tea smoothie with boba. So tasty, I could have had more boba in the drinks, but still very satisfying. Our appetizer was off the Thai side menu, Tom Yum, no shrimp or fish sauce add tofu spice level 2. We could have probably gone for maybe one more level up in spice, but I didn’t want heart burn. The soup was flavorful and had a lot of veggies and chicken. Hubs ordered the beef Bulgogi tacos which were yummy and had a nice mix of a Mexican street taco with Bulgogi and kimchi. I ordered the beef Bulgogi with extra Banchans(sides) the Kimchi and cold tofu were my favorite. The Bulgogi was Bulgogi not fatty and full of flavor, good marinade. We also split the Gogi Fries with out the spicy mayo. These fries were awesome and could be a meal by themselves. We opted for the beef not pork. I paired the fries with the kimchi Banchans for a little extra spice. We got a ice coconut milk tea boba to go. We will be back. :)

Came here last Saturday with the Groupon deal — 4 meals, banchan, and 4 bubble teas. We got the galbi shortribs(SOGOOD and perfectly cooked), beef bulgogi(also good), a noodle dish I forgot the name of(flat noodles with a peanut sauce — not pad thai), and GOGIFRIES(I’m a fan of fries and loaded fries. These were SOGOOD. Screw Lone Wolf’s fries. Pay the same price here and get 3x more fries). Banchan were okay. I’ve had better and they don’t constantly refill them like real Korean restaurants… Of course they didn’t have bubble tea, like many Unilocalers have said. I’m pretty sure they’ve given up on it; they should just take it off the menu already. They did allow you to substitute it though with either spring rolls, egg rolls, or Thai tea. We got 1 order of springs rolls, 1 order of egg rolls, and 2 Thai teas to go. The spring rolls and egg rolls were good, but tasted no different than rolls you’d get at a Chinese restaurant. Our waitress was awesome. She was very knowledgeable, attentive, and even remembered to get our Thai teas right before we left. Overall, I’d definitely go back. Super delicious! But I’m not sure if the Groupon is that great of a bargain.

Update We have been back here several times since I wrote this review back in November. Service is much better. Food is still great. However, they never have any boba drink flavors or boba available. Just that it off the menu and I think service ratings will go up exponentially. Unfortunately, the last time we were in here, no one was eating here! I’ve changed my review from 3 stars to 5. Stay open. Please oh please don’t go out of business. ___________________________________________________________________ 11/18/2014 Pros: Really good food(I like their tacos). Plenty of parting and no wait for tables. Cute décor Cons: services. The boba drinks here are not very good. The various flavors are made from a powder and are always too gritty. The boba themselves are either old or not available. We only ever order it because it is included in the Groupon. So in the future: don’t get the Groupon, keeping coming for the food, and don’t order the boba.

Gogi Gui Korean/Fusion Grill is delicious, adventurous, and entirely worth your time. Whether you are in the mood for Korean, Thai, or Vietnamese — they have you covered. Their menu offers a range of traditional and fusion in each of the above mentioned styles. My favorite part(and the reason they earned that fifth star) was the fact that the entire menu has pictures of each dish. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve placed my order at a restaurant and prior to my food arriving I see a different dish being delivered to another table and my eyes and stomach fill with envy. By having a picture of each dish you know exactly what you are getting and what it should look like when it arrives in front of you. Go eat here.

Have been here twice, both times under a groupon experience where you get a bubble tea and your choice of entrée along with the banchan(little side dishes). When I were went, menu options were limited to 4 traditional dishes and 4 fusion dishes. Second time here, the menu had expanded. Of course you can always order items off the menu from the Thai restaurant next door. The spicy pork bulgogi isn’t intense in heat, but slowly builds. I’ve also tried the short ribs, which are flavorful, but leads to a bit of a mess since you end up having to get your hands dirty to get all the tasty meat from the bones. My wife got the fried pork dish that came with kimchi fried rice, which I could just have a meal on it’s own. 4 types of banchan are offered, a sort of pickled cabbage, sesame marinated bean sprouts, tofu, and the Korean staple kimchi. The kimchi is the best of the bunch, again being flavorful with a slow yet tolerant heat level. Just wish they’d offer your more. The bubble teas are also pretty good. However, the last time I was there they were only limited to two flavors. Instead of offering the more traditional tea over ice, these came out as more of a smoothie or shake. Not overly sweet and the tapioca pearls were properly cooked, with no random hard and inedbile ones in the cup. Be aware that you’ll have to look closely or you’ll miss this place. It’s really in back corner of the shopping plaza. Also be prepared for the actual temperature in the building. This appears to be an add on from the Thai restaurant and I don’t think the AC really reaches to Gogi side.

I recently visited Gogi Gui to celebrate mine and my mother’s birthday with my parents and my husband. This was the 3rd or 4th time I’ve visited and have always been very satisfied. This visit however was not as good as the others, but I am still a fan. Unfortunately for us, they were out of boba tea during this visit. We were very disappointed as we love their coconut boba tea. However, they do have many new additions to their menu and the Thai restaurant that is connected has received a makeover and now matches the rest of Gogi Gui. The menu has doubled in size and features several different Bibimbap dishes as well as a few fusion dishes. They also had the Thai menu on the table and seem to be using it only for the appetizer menu. They really should just combine both restaurants’ menus into a more cohesive fusion menu, but still maintain their authentic dishes. So we ordered pot stickers and spring rolls for appetizers and they were both good, but the same as you get at most Asian restaurants. I love the Gogi Fries and usually get that, but I ventured out and tried the Korean Slaw Burger with spicy fries. The fries are the same that come with the Gogi Fries and they are nothing special. They are not fresh and they are not even cooked to a crisp. The burger was okay. The patty was thick, but didn’t seem fresh, probably frozen. The slaw was good, but it still was just an okay burger. I added kimchi for a bit of a crunch because the slaw was soggy and didn’t add any texture. My husband and mother had the Gogi Fries and they both loved them. My dad had the spicy pork bulgogi and was disappointed that it wasn’t spicy at all, but still had great flavor. The thing that this place really has going for it is the fact that it doesn’t have much competition and it’s decent. If I find a really good Korean Fusion restaurant this place will probably fall by the wayside.

Went last week and I’m still craving the Beef Bulgogi Tacos… Excellent! My friend had some sort of pork fritter(Pork Donkatsu) which we both agreed was average. but the fusion tacos… that is the way to go!

I have to preface this with be fact that I’ve had ONE korean food experience in town and it was life changing. So. I expected life changing from Gogi. I did not receive life changing so I might have had high expectations. Pros – the banchan was bomb and I’m dreaming of their tofu. The presentation and simplicity of the menu and dishes was amazing. And, the bulgogi beef had delicious flavor. Cons – we went there for the bibimbap(like the life changing bowl I had at korean garden) and got instead a bowl of steamed rice with veggies. The real treat of that dish is the hot bowl creating a wonderful crust with the rice. Then, the egg was completely over cooked, so it didn’t create the creaminess I hoped for. Finally, the red sauce I love most of all was much less traditional and not at all what I expected. If you go, I would suggest trying the more fusion dishes, like tacos or fries. They seemed more their forte and what makes them worthwhile. Save the korean classics for a few more miles on the highway to Korean Garden.

By far the very best Korean food in Oklahoma but quite possibly the best in the USA! Incredible mix of flavors and great prices too. You have to try the bulgogi tacos if you aren’t sure what you want but the bebimbap hot pots were tantalizing too. We haven’t tasted one bad thing so far. Everytime we go in they continue to amaze us! We love their boba or bubble teas, this time they were running low on flavors and didn’t have my fav coconut so I tried the café mocha and it was the bomb!!!

Tonight was my second time here and the food was delicious just like the first time. I ordered the pork bibimbap and my sister got the short ribs. Last time I was here they didn’t have bibimbap so I was pleasantly surprised that they expanded their menu. They also added a few Thai-Korean fusion dishes to the menu but we didn’t try any. We also ordered coconut boba teas and they were super yummy! Last time I think I got Strawberry and it was a disappointment so the coconut made up for it. :D One thing I really wish and hope that they do is add appetizers and desserts to their menu.

Had a groupon, which brought the family back here again. I want to love this place. In a lot of ways I do. All the problems we seem to experience are boba related. Boba related; thats funny. The waitress informed us that they were out of boba, but we could order the tea. Was informed they were out and it takes forever to make. Great. Two in the party ordered cantelope and honey dew. Boba tea came out grainy. Sent it back. We dont want that mess. Asked the waitress to run the blender a little longer. One came back great, the other not so much. As we were leaving, we saw a couple of boba teas with boba in them. It was actually funny. We called out the server. Had to do it. Lets end this on a good note. Food is yummy. I like korean food.

Excellent! This Korean grill offers a little bit of everything. The wonderful service and atmosphere set you up for the most important thing — delicious food. The gogi fries were delicious and had a very unique(but great) taste to them. I consider myself a bit of a boba tea expert, and the teas here more than pass the eye and taste test. Check out Gogi next time you want to mix it up with a unique experience and great food that everyone will enjoy!
