Pros: I came here a couple years back(when it was a buffet). Having been on a diet since middle school, I really try to avoid buffets. My husband got a hankering for Korean a couple weeks ago. All his go to places were closed(usually closed Sundays). I called this place and they were open. Packed up the kids and headed all the way to this side of town. They adored it. For days after, it’s all they wanted to talk about. They loved being able to cook their own food at the table. The food that we ordered at this restaurant is actually the same price as this other place we like, but Korean Garden gives much bigger portions. Plenty of parking. Accepts credit cards. My husband loved the waiter. Very sweet, attentive, eager to please«kid.» I mean he looked super young(too young to be working), but he’s Asian(our people age very gracefully). So maybe he was actually a middle age man. Who knows? Cons: Very very far from our home. If you want to cook at the table, you have to sit on this other side of the restaurant. My son was extra scared of these masks that were mounted on the wall.

I was craving Korean food and searched on Unilocal to see if there was a Korean buffet in Tulsa. I was excited to read here that Korean Garden has a lunch buffet, so I was super excited. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I was greeted by steam tables that were turned off and empty. SOSAD. Turns out, they no longer have the lunch buffet during the week — even though it still is on the cover of the menu. They apparently still have the lunch buffet during the weekend though. Instead of the lunch buffet that I was expecting, I ended up ordering the bulgogi which came with 5 different types of ban chan and a bowl of steamed rice. The ban chan was adequate — a little bit on the salty side. The size of the bulgogi portion was adequate, but I was very disappointed in the quality of the food. It was very watery and seemed a little overcooked for my taste. The portion cost about $ 13, which I think was overpriced for the quality of the meat. Living in Los Angeles and having the ability to frequent Koreatown, I know that I’ve been spoiled with amazing Korean food, so maybe I am just being overly critical — I don’t know. The people working here are nice and there is plenty of parking, so that is a plus.

Great food! I got the stir-fried squid and a California roll and couldn’t put down my chopsticks. The owners are very friendly and our waiter was super attentive. The Korean game shows on the TV were crazy! I had no clue what was going on, but I was entertained. Will definitely go back, especially since it’s next door to my favorite korean market.

This is my favorite Korean restaurant in town! They are the only place in NEOK to get samgyupsal. And that right there is enough to endear them to me for life. The family that owns and runs the restaurant are great! Service is good. The place is clean. Definitely try the gimbap sometime — it’s by far the best I’ve ever had!

Great Korean restaurant! The menu that someone posted up on here is deceiving because they don’t have Kamjatong. They honestly didn’t even know what it was which made me a little suspicious. They do have budaejigae though!!! I’d recommend getting the large of it with 2 people. It is Korean family style. The dumpling large bowl is also good. The broth isn’t as good as the budaejigae but that is because I like it spicy. Mandu is good and their sides are great. Also my wife had the bibimbap, and it was great as well. They give you the red paste which is standard in Korea but not as standard in Tulsa. One thing I wouldn’t recommend here is their bulgogi. I’m not a big fan of it in the first place but my mother in law doesn’t like spicy dishes or being adventurous so I thought I’d get her the dish that screams I’m an American(bulgogi). It was a lot sweeter than it should have been but still as good as bulgogi usually is. Great place to go though if you crave Korean food like I do. Sorry to say though there is no Naeng Myeong or ja ja myeong but ja ja Myeong is always a stretch since it is originally Chinese I’m pretty sure. But if you want those go to Seoul bistro.

It’s easy to miss this place because it is in the back of a shopping center but trust this place never disappoints. The staff and the food are both great.

First off, let me just start out by saying that I come from San Francisco, CA, where we have a large variety of places to eat korean food. After living in Tulsa for the past 3 years, I have yet to find another korean place that exceeds the quality of the food that I experience at Korean Garden. A friend introduced me to eating here a few months ago, and I have made an effort to go at least once a month. After eating here quite frequently, the owners have begun to recognize me and they are nothing but polite and friendly when they see me come in. The service is quick, and it is easy to get in and out within an hour if you are short on time. I regularly come to eat the weekday buffet which always has fresh options and is restocked frequently. My favorites on the buffet are the spicy bulgogi and the mandu. The kimchee is also great. I have ordered the bibimbap off the menu and was pleased when it arrived with 6 different banchans. That was a surprise, as I was not expecting the banchans and it reminded me of home. Overall, this is a great place to come if you want to eat some great authentic korean food in Tulsa.

I found out about Korean Garden when I was just trying to find ingredients to make Korean food at home, and I love it. It’s not often busy, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming — like a family. I love going there for the chicken bulgogi, kimbap, and of course, the bibimbap. It’s hard to not go there for every meal.

This restaurant was amazing. We got there about 4 pm on a Sunday and there were a few other tables. After checking out the buffet offerings, we opted to order off the menu. We ordered mandu(dumplings) as an appitizer, and they were crispy and flavorful. They brought out the banchan(side dishes) as well. There were 6-kimchi, some sort of pickled radish, spicy cucumber, potatoes, fish cake, and some sort of egg pancake. They were all good-I could have eaten the cucumbers and potatoes all day. The service was excellent-they kept offering to refill our drinks and banchan. For main dishes, I ordered pajeon-seafood pancake. It was DELICIOUS!!! And I don’t like seafood! My husband got the budae jjigae, which was too spicy for me but he liked it. My mother in law got the bulgogi and she liked it as well. If you are looking for good korean in Tulsa, I highly recommend this place. Can’t beat good food and good service.

This place is solid. My gf is Korean and I’ve come to love korean food, particularly the way they marinate and season meat. This place is the perfect place to get your pork/beef bulgogi fix. We had the $ 11.99 buffet, which also includes dumplings, small fried chicken wings, ribs, chicken with broccoli, plus some korean side dishes, all in all about 20 – 25 items. Didn’t quite look at their menu all the way through but they seemed to have a very nice selection of menu items if buffet is not your thing. Also, owner is incredibly nice and genuine. Saw a little girl run into the kitchen being rowdy and owner came out with a big smile returned her to her seat and talked to the family for a few minutes, it was genuine. This place loses a star because a few of the items were just ok(ribs, dumpling, egg, chicken broccoli, and other pork dish I can’t remember). However, I will be back! Update: The freshness and flavor of this place is so consistent! I had to add a star :) Update #2: They changed owners, got rid of the buffet, got rid of the super nice employees, lowered quality, and raised prices. If you buy a business because of its success, don’t change what made it successful. I figured this would be common sense to a competent business owner but apparently not. As far as I know, tulsa now does not have a respectable Korean buffet.

I’m sure they have things that aren’t spicy but I wouldn’t know since that is all that I want to eat. Their spicy seafood soup is amazing!

I loved it! It was very fresh, very Korean. The lunch buffet is very very very good. Words do not express how fresh and flavor able it was. It is a must if you like Korean food.

I have been going to the Korean Garden for several years. The owners change often, but the quality of food does not suffer(the service is a different story). The current staff seems to prefer for you to order from the buffet rather than the menu and that gets a little old… but the buffet is good and the items are always fresh. You get many choices that would be considered unusual to most Tulsa dwellers. I love visiting the Asian market next door after my meal. This is a great place to go every now and then. Three years ago it was my favorite, but with all the changes… it’s been downgraded in my book to «decent».

Come hungry because the buffet has a satisfying number of options for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. It’s great for a quick lunch both because it’s close to where I work and the food tastes freshly made. Our favorites where the pot stickers, the noodles, the pork, and the veggie cakes. It’s simple and the staff is friendly. This is a keeper on our list and we are looking forward to exploring more of the menu next time.

I believe the name of the restaurant has changed and it is now called Korean Restaurant(original name). I had the Bibimbap this past week and it was spectacular. I will be back again.

Very rare to find a Korean Rest. in Tulsa. Where I live, SF, there are plenty. This place cannot be compared to any of the Korean rest. i’ve experienced in SF. The only good thing about this place is the buffet they serve. I believe on weekdays buffet is about $ 8. On weekends its about $ 13. The waiter was really nice, the food was ok, but like i said, i come from a gifted city, SF. Really huge on FOOD. ahhh i love being a city gal.
