Not surprised this place has closed. I had a double-meat gyro. The gyro meat doesn’t taste the same as from a Greek place. Double the meat would be same amount of meat at any other gyro shop.

FOODHANDLERSPERMITGUIDELINESARENOTBEINGFOLLOWED! I have been in twice in the last week and unfortunately was served by the same girl. The first time I observed her breaking health guidelines after I ate. Ew. Second time I came in, paid with cash and then she proceeded to put gloves on, without washing her hands. I asked her to wash her hands, as she had just handled cash and she VERY rudely indicated that she already had. Her dirty hands, touched the gloves as she put them on– duh. Most importantly I was disappointed at her response to my basic request.

Meh… This place is kinda of like a dark pita. Really wanted to love it but even the kids(who love real gyro’s) didn’t really like — they don’t ever want to go back. The guy who helped us was nice. For the gyro meat they use something similar to a steak um, the pita was blah and the tahini was like a cream cheese:( Won’t be coming back here…

The Pita Pit is like Subway except with Pita instead of sandwich bread. They serve fruit smoothies which I was reassured were made with frozen fruit and not the nasty fruit flavored syrup stuff. I ordered the Gyro but to my surprise their«Tzatziki» was actually sour cream. It was still delicious. I’d definitely choose the Pita Pit over Subway just because I like the fact that you taste less«bread» and more filling. It may also be a better choice if you’re concerned about your calorie intake(pita vs. other sandwich breads).

It’s a little spendier, but Pita Pit is SO much better than Subway! $ 6.65 for a chicken crave(grilled chicken breast, ham, provolone and whatever veggies you want) + $ 2 for chips, drink makes for a pretty satisfying meal that’s ready to go in just a few minutes and for under $ 10. My pita was stuffed so full of yummy veggies that it disintegrated before I was finished, but that’s what forks(or fingers) are for! Friendly staff at this location, too. Thanks!

Subway for pitas! Salads, smoothies, and breakfast pitas(served all day) also available. You pick what you want(meat, veggie, wheat or white pita) and then it’s subway style — pick your toppings and sauces! And there are a LOT of sauce options. I recently had the Dogwood Club, with spinach, red peppers, mushrooms, feta cheese, and franks hot sauce!!! Next time I’m going to try the buffalo chicken pita! Oh and NUTRITIONALDATAONDISPLAY!

Typical for the pita chain, but the staff here was very nice. The location was hard to find at first, but the food was well worth it. This was also the first time I used a Check-In deal which was awesome! Will definitely be back when I’m in another pita mood.

I was lucky enough to stop by for my first Pita Pit experience during their $ 3 anniversary promo(I think it was Feb 29, Leap day). I had the Falafel Pita and if you have ever had a Maoz falafel in Europe. Well, it is nothing like that. Actually, the«sandwich» does taste a lot like a Maoz falafel, meaning it is MOIST, really GOOD, and FILLING! Some notable differences: 1) the sandwich is not open face, it is rolled up by your server 2) you don’t get to fill your own filling(the server does it) 3) the stuffing should look very familiar, if you have been to Subways HINT: ask for a side of hot sauce for a more Maoz-like experience.

This store has been really hit and miss. I bought a groupon for this place, and tried my first Pita Pit ever, and I feel in love, for about a week all I could think about was going back. We went back, during lunch time the next week, and we were not happy. My kids ordered kids meals and all they wanted with their meat was lettuce, olives, and cucumbers. The guy was rude, and said that it’s on the menu that the kids could only have one topping, and that if they wanted more we could pay full price, seriously $ 2 for one more topping, and he wanted us to get back into line to pay the extra portion, I don’t think so. I DON’T LIKESMALLPRINT, NORSURPRISES. Then my sister meets us there, ordered the same thing that I did, and they offered to add onions, and stuff to sauté with her meat, and my mouth dropped, and I said«hey, you didn’t offer that to me», and they just looked at me with a dumbfounded look on their faces, and said nothing, so my sister said never mind, and ordered the cheapest thing they had, because she said that they should treat everyone the same, and I agreed. I go back again for my third trip, because of groupon, I’m driving from Tacoma mind you. I think that I have the whole ordering process down now, and I order the SAME thing that I’ve ordered the two previous times, and I get up to the prep station, and tell the guy that I’d like some humus, and he then tells me that it’s .75 more for humus. COMEONALREADY! I am afraid of what new charge or rule will be in place the next time that I come back, I’m waiting for them to tell me to stand on my head and eat my pita. If they must up charge everything, then PLEASE make it clear on your board, make all of the options available, right as you are ordering, and NOT in small print. So, with all of that being said, I love pita pit’s pita’s, but I wish that ordering didn’t have to be so complicated. I swear, I’d go almost everyday if it was not so complicated, and if I didn’t feel like I was being nickle and dimed.

I have gone here a couple of times and do enjoy the selection and the taste. Often times, places like these aren’t good for you or they all taste the same in the end. Not the case here, just now enjoying my Dagwood fork style, can’t believe it’s only $ 7.00 Probably would have given them five stars BUT they loose a star for the brown lettuce. Fortunately I really enjoy spinach and that’s all I get, no lettuce, but the shredded ice-berg was really bad, not sure why no one has noticed and thrown it out. Everything else on the topping bar is fresh!

One of the healthier choices around for healthy lunch options. You can make your meal unhealthy if you want to. One of these days I might. But I like this place. The staff is cool and friendly. Tons of choices when it comes to fillings. They make everything right in front of you. It’s like if Subway or Jimmy Johns went Mediterranean and awesome.

I wish they had one of these closer to my work! It’s a build your own pita place basically. Lots of toppings, bread types, and meat(or just go veggie if that’s your thaang). I cannot believe how many sauces they have too, it’s crazy! The first time I went the lady kept trying to make me get more types of sauces(no extra charge) and she thought I was crazy to just get one. I love pitas in general and these are just plain huuge! Definitely can’t finish one in the same sitting. I shall be back for sure!

Not too pricey and looks really like a pita version of a Quizno’s. It really should be only a 2star but with the groupon, it was not too bad of deal. There are definitely healthy options, but overall the gyros I had was just so so. Maybe I’ll try it again another time… Not a bad alternative to the subs available around there.

Um, I love this place! I’ve never tried it until my sister said to meet her there with some friends. I didn’t really want to but I did anyway and I’m glad I did. Everytime I go there, the staff is fast and courteous. I always get the BLT one and add some extra stuff in it. Plus I love the little cartoons of the pita too. haha I want some now.

OMG! On this healthy eating kick and find myself famished and trying to find something guiltless to eat. I see Pita Pit and think«Hmm, there’s gotta be something healthy in there right?» Hello! I just ordered a chicken breast pita and went down to the other end where you add the toppings. Fresh topping heaven! I will never go to Subway again I promise. They had everything a girl like me could want. They will add veggies to the grill if requested so I had the red onions, mushrooms and green bell peppers added to the chicken and grilled. I then chose a whole wheat pita and added lettuce, spinach, cucumber, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, tomatoes, banana peppers, Mediterranean sauce(combo of yogurt and cucumber) and balsamic vinagrette to boot. Needless to say, I was in heaven. All of this delicious, fresh, healthy food was 6.99 after taxes and I believe that was the most expensive pita on the menu. If you are ever trying to be good on a budget and you are in the Southcenter area, you better think about Pita Pit. I promise you will not regret it. Oh yeah, please don’t let me forget to say that all employees spoke english as their first language(refreshing) and the customer service was impeccable(turns me on if you know what I mean).

3.75 stars hahaha, I’ve never had such a fun time ordering a pita. The two guys working yesterday evening were very entertaining — they even made a vegetable face on my husband’s pita — picture eyes, eyebrows and mouth made out of olives, an onion nose, and hair out of alfalfa sprouts! Came home and enjoyed my falafel pita with a beer. Can’t believe I’m saying this but it way too much feta cheese in it! Still good though. I signed up for the pita rewards card(already earned enough for a cookie) so I-will-be-back.

A good way to look at a Pita is if Mexican burritos mated with Roman food and out comes a Pita Pit. Their menu has expanded since the days of Pullman when I would wait in line until 3am after night full of shenanigans so that I could wake up the next day full of veggies instead of the other greasy options. I love that yo get to choose what goes into the Pita and that the options are way more than any sub shop you can think of. My personal recommendation is try combing two of the sauces in the end. I used to do a little ranch and a little honey mustard, mmmmmm. Now I am a falafel with hummus gal and the flavors are still yummy as ever. I would caution about adding the avocado because of the really small amount you’ll get of whipped mush for too much money. I know it’s an expensive plant but gesh. With all of the gross fast food competitions out there Pita Pit will not only make you feel good but is so yummy even if you’re not into the whole healthy eating thing. Trust me it’s worth a try!

I love The Pita Pit! Fast and fresh, their pita combinations are delicious for lunch, dinner or a snack. I’m a big fan of their Chicken Souvaki pita, double the meat with lots of good fillings. If you find yourself hungry and nearby a Pita Pit, you have got to try it out! Your tastebuds and stomach will thank you.
