This place is sheet nasty. food is dry they don’t have any respect. If you pay them cash they’re going to have a receipt for you if you walk the door&back me a will never return back to this place again. The food is from frozen to the grill it’s absolutely not fresh the only reason people they go is either it’s cheap or taxi driver’s they want park while they waiting for is dirty and need to inspect shortly before someone get sick.

Food quality is going down. I used to come here often. But won’t be returning, I think they switched employees.

I work nearby and this place is delicious the gyro especially, friendly service, and cheap prices. I would defiantly recommend this place to everyone wondering if they should try it out.

Had a number 1(gyros) and a number 15(falafel) and both were amazing. The gyros was packed full of soft yummy meat. The meat is cubed and at first my wife was like«awww, cubed. Wtf.» But then she ate a piece and her mind instantly changed to «mmmmm! Hells yeah cubed!» The falafel was flavorful and filling, I got a little extra sauce on the side and it was spectacular. The fries were fresh and cooked in clean oil. Fried to perfection with a lil bit of salt. The juice was guava I think. Sweet and yummy. Plus it was only a dollar with endless refills. We were stuffed and satisfied and the price is great. $ 16 with tip! I wish I had visited this place sooner. We will definitely be back.

Worse place ever in Seattle! Burnt and dried food from all three dishes. We just paid and left food!

I think this place is out of business or the hours listed are wrong. I went there this past Friday at 11 am and there wasn’t a light on and was locked up.

Hole in the wall place well visited by lively local cab drivers. They had an extensive middle eastern menu and a very friendly hostess. I ordered a falafel gyro with fries which was cooked fresh and tasty and delivered in a plastic basket. The soda fountain seemed to run out of every drink just about simultaneously so that wasn’t great but the price was very good for a tasty meal.

Perhaps the first thing you should know is that you should definitely try their tea! I was asking about whether or not they had chai tea. Although they said no, the lady did refer me to their tea in the steel urn at the end of the counter — «It has less sugar than chai, too.» Oh! Cool, she offered to have a sample… don’t mind if I do! I got a small cup, filled ‘er up a few ounces… and… …oh. …oh my! –THIS is GOOD! So smooth, warm, a great balance of subtle sweetness and flavor. I believe she called it Somalian tea(which, like chai, I’m sure has dozens of varieties in itself). It goes down quite well. Ok, carrying on, Trent before me said it very well for what it is… just go inside and check ‘er out! Parking outside can be on the south or north. The staff is good and rather friendly. They have a variety of cross-cuisine items to choose from(fish n chips to gyros, etc). I went for the gyro with fries. Good standard fries and the gyro was tasty and satisfying(I’ve had plenty elsewhere that were similar but left me, hmm, subtly bloated, full-but-not-full, if that makes sense). I’m curious on trying the spinach chicken and other items, as well. This may become my favorite spot before work on Sunday evenings.

You can’t judge this place by the outside. And you can’t size it up based on Unilocal reviews alone. Just just need to get brave and head on in there. This is primarily a deli. And a mediterranean /middle eastern one at that. They also have some fresh, frozen, canned, packaged and textile goods for sale in a market in the same building. The selection may seem haphazard, but there are some very interesting and unique things if you take a look around. For me, it’s all about the food. I was mostly concerned about the food during my first visit. The owner and the rest of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I sampled camel for the first time. It tasted like a really good beef pot roast. For dinner I got the two item plate with roast goat and chicken shwarma. Both were awesome. It came with rice, a beautiful salad and pita, hummus and an olive. Everything was very good especially the goat. I’d dare say, best I’ve found in the NW so far. The mango and the passion fruit juice drinks were good, if a little on the sweet side. I assume they were the same drinks you can get in gallon cans in the store. If you need a quick meal well-prepared ethnic meal, I highly recommend braving this place. I bet you’ll be back. Plenty of cabbies eat there too and that has to count for something, right?

this is my first time eat ting in here and I just stopped on the way to the light rail . I ended up getting a gyro and fries I can tell you this place is a bit strange from what I have seen . they will sell you gallon of milk, a blanket, Menes dress shirt and hot food just to name a few things. the food was good and fresh kind of order at the counter eat it then pay or get it to go . at least at the time I was in . again back to the food, the cucumbers were a bit sour for my they looked fresh as did the lettuce, the meat was hot and the fries were too . for 6.79+ tax it was all right
