I figured out what the name change means. It means no in house wifi. It means lukewarm food and cold tortilla chips. It means dirty floors, counters and worn out furniture. I remember when this place opened up under its previous corporate name, and the food included fresh shrimp taco salad bowls and massive crispy fresh burritos. I don’t know if it was ever authentic Mexican, but it was better than fast food. Now, I’d rather save some money and go to Taco Bell.(I didn’t even eat the tortilla chips, c’mon…who does that?) I wouldn’t Baja.

I’m still unsure what the location’s name change means. It went from ‘Baja Fresh Mexican Grill’ to ‘Baja Grill’. The national chain website doesn’t list a location anymore so maybe it became a family restaurant. I have carried out when they were a branch of the chain. Either way, they have the same burrito options. My dad and I ordered two burrito supremes w/chicken which came with chips(salsas are provided as well). Each was 7.09. We also got two beverages and a plate of rice and pinto beans. We used a groupon coupon at this and coupons are always nice. The food was cooked well and was tasty. Wish guacamole and additional sour cream were available for self-serve. I don’t think those items are that valuable. Overall, I will definitely sample some of their items in future trips.
