Consistent and good. It’s a little corporate l, despite being an original, but that feeling seems to come from the efficiency and professional nature of the business. Getting what you ordered the way you expected it is not a bad thing at all.

Went here only for their veggie nachos after reading amazing reviews about it on Unilocal and it didn’t disappoint. My husband and I shared it(huge portion) and we ate it all. Be careful– they charge extra for jalapeños and avocado. Wanted to go back for it but we didn’t have enough time. Must try if you are in the city

This restaurant is on our must visit list every time we’re remotely close to Traverse City. I had a pint of Northern Lights – delicious, smooth and lightly hoppy – with the fish and chips. My husband had the beer mussels(excellent) and the kids loved the burger with smiley fries.

I just dropped in to North Peak for beer. The place is very large and almost everything is made of wood, giving it a nice warm feel. The hostess offered us a seat at the bar, but we said we’d prefer a booth. We took one. I ordered the Siren Amber. Honestly, it had an oddly bitter taste. Not nearly as smooth as most ambers I’ve enjoyed. Hm. Our waiter was a dick. When he asked if we were ready to order food and we said we were just there for beer, he chuckled and rolled his eyes and stormed off with our silverware. He never really came back to check on us. We tipped far better than we should have. I’m reading a lot of good reviews about the food, and maybe I’d come back to try some, but the beer wasn’t that great and the server was an ass, so your mileage may vary.

Awesome spot. Had great service from our waiter. I ordered the monte Christo sandwich and the Mediterranean platter appetizer. Both were amazing. Also ordered a Spanish coffee and it was INCREDIBLE! Went on New Years around 1pm for lunch and just was an extremely pleasant experience all the way around.

I’ve been going here for years and always love the food and excellent beer. The salmon with cherry BBQ is delicious, the salad with dried cherries and chicken is great. They have very good flat breads and soup too. Do NOT order the mussels appetizer. I chose that as my entrée last night and it was the worst plate of mussels I have ever had. They were overcooked, very chewy, and tasted fishy. I could only force myself to eat three of the mussels. The dish has sausage and a tomato beer broth, which sounded promising, but was just not good at all. It was the worst thing I have ever ordered at a restaurant in my life. I happened to pick a poor choice on the menu last night, I suppose, and just want to warn everyone to avoid those. If it had been my first time there, I would not be going back, based on the food. However, as I have had delicious food every other time, I know it was just that dish and so I will definitely still be going there again. Just avoid the mussels! The service was wonderful, as was the atmosphere. The rest of our group loved their food, as I usually do here too.

Really good… Stopped here Monday for lunch with the family. Beer was excellent and food was as well. Service was a little spotty but they might have been a little short staffed.

Been here twice and both times service was impeccable. Had the stuffed trout, Kobe burger, the steamed mussels, hangar steak quesadilla, fried mozzarella and plenty of their microbrewery beers. All really good! Presentation of food always on point.

Awesome soup as others have mentioned. Delicous hummus. Had the burger special(kobe beef with jalepeno BBQ sauce) which was delicious. Great atmosphere with outside seating for nice summer evenings. Definitely going back!

This brewery was made out of light bright wood everywhere. It was a cozy feeling walking in. We had a couple of brews and they were delicious. I had an IPA and my wife had the light beer. Our kids had Mac n cheese and chicken tenders. They were good for them. Nothing extra special though. We also had the beer cheese soup. It is very very good here! This gained them an extra star just for it. We were hoping to bring back a gallon of that to eat at home. Maybe they can sell it ok the side. Ha ha. This restaurant and brewery is close to town. We walked a few short blocks to get there. We will return on our next visit to Traverse City.

Great beer flight of their home brews! Salmon and«Diabolical Chicken» with Famous Traverse City Cherry BBQ sauce on both were great! Yummy fresh veggies on the side as well as great mashed potatoes! Perfect amount of food and beer for the price! We will be back if we’re in the area!

Starred with the wings appetizer, love the cherry flavors just wish the bbq sauce had less sweet and more heat. Ordered the special. Parmesan Encrusted White Fish and a cup of White Cheddar Ale Soup. The cheddar soup was stuffed with to many mustard pretzels. Other than that it was good. The white fish was not bad, but nothing to write about. Service was slow. Waiter would walk by numerous times without checking on us, he seemed to be only anle to handle 1 table at a time. Very disinterested in his job. Beer, had the flight and there are much better beers in TC.

I used to come here all the time with my family when I was living at home and have great memories here! It usually gets pretty loud, and I’m not much of a beer drinker so this place is more of a «social dinner» with several people than a «date night» for me. Parking can be an issue here, even on a weekday night, as so many people usually come here. Personally, while I think their pizza is good, it’s not what I come here for. Go for something unique to this place like the Fried Mozzarella in the egg roll wrappers, or the Stuffed Artichoke Hearts, etc.

Would you pay $ 11 for a pre-patty burger? I have never written a negative Unilocal, but this was just downright disappointing. I was here a year ago and it was completely different. Today, my burger was literally an oversized dollar menu disaster. It was bland and the bun was even bad. They forgot to put cheese on it and the tomato slice on it was pretty comical as it was roughly 1″ diameter. My fiancé ordered the pizza($ 12 for a 10″ pizza) of which she only ate one slice. In this case, a DiGiorno would have really been better. We eat out several times weekly and I ALWAYS get burgers and craft beer. This is the worst I have ever had from a brewery. The server was ok, I think she did her best with what she had. The atmosphere of the place was the bright spot, with live music and a hip décor.

I love sitting on the patio– even with the construction noise! Their food items are delicious, service is top-notch, and beer is always a plus! Enjoyed my stop here on my trip– the only place I’ve been to twice!

We ordered beers and a few appetizers. All of the guys said that the beer was decent. I ordered a root beer, it was also decent. I seriously enjoyed the mozzarella egg rolls though! Their pesto ranch dipping sauce is incredible! The food was more tasty than the beer, but the beers were still good. One of the places that you should stop by while in Traverse City!

#3 on our list of breweries in the Traverse City area. This was on the touristy side, but we had to try it. We were seated right away. Our server seemed a bit aggravated at first, but then through the night he was nice and very attentive. Tried the beer flights first, then ordered dinner. Our list: — Diabolical IPA-hopped IPA, with a nice caramel sweetness. You can taste hints of Citrus, pine, mint, and floral. — Golden Session Bitter: Old English classic. The session bitter. It starts with a nice caramel sweetness followed by a clean, hop bitterness. This brew finishes smooth and crisp. — Mission Point Porter: Full bodied porter with rich chocolate overtones. — Northern Light: On of North Peak’s favorite brew. Lighter, golden ale. It’s clean, crisp & refreshing! — Shirley’s Irish Stout: A smooth and rich stout. With lots of roasted barley, black & chocolate malts. Very creamy. — Siren Amber– A malty classic. Caramel sweetness with just a hint of roasted barley, and has a slight dry finish. My husband liked the IPA andI liked the Mission Point Porter. For appetizers, we ordered the Eggroll Mozzarella Sticks-Rolled in egg roll skins with sundried tomatoes and garlic. Flash-fried and served with pesto ranch for dipping for $ 8.95. For Dinner I ordered the Grilled Atlantic Salmon-a basil pesto crust with barley pilaf and vegetables for $ 18.95. My husband got the Caprese Salad Skewer– pearled mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil skewered and served over field greens with a balsamic vinaigrette $ 12.95. Everything was excellent. The eggroll mozzarella sticks were awesome!!! Nothing I ever tried before. I don’t think I will ever order breaded mozzarella sticks. This is better! My husband was not too fond with his salad. There was too much balsamic dressing. My meal was perfect. The fish was made to my liking and fresh. The basil pesto was not overwhelming and vegetables were crunchy and seasoned. YUM!!! Overall we left there with a happy face and full belly. Not one of my favorite breweries, but a must try if you are in the Traverse City area.
