Horrible! I called and asked what time do they close. The lady said NOW!!! and hung up. This is after I already called a few mins earlier and asked her the same question, she didnt respond to me and just hung up. I figured maybe she couldn’t hear me. I read the reviews here. Maybe its because i didnt speak spanish? Whatever, just rude people here!

I love this place. Great food. The girl will take corn of the Cobb and put it in a cup. Yummy ice cream and raspados. I’m sure everything else is great too!

The tostilocos and the fresas con crema are my favorite. I love how if you order your tostilocos to go, they put all the condiments in a box and leave the chips alone. Not like other places, where they prepare everything there, and put everything in a bag so by the time you get home, the chips are all soggy and gross. I just don’t understand why they would charge extra if you want mango added :/

I’m always skeptical when a reviewer says a place seem unwelcoming based on race… but in this case it was correct. I literally stood there for about 5 minutes with every employee looking around me to talk to other people that was already there. Nobody even said hello, or hold on a second, or anything. Never even got looked in the eye. I had a mangonada in mind, and since there is really no other place in tracy… I drove to La Mangonada in Manteca and got one. They are always professional and are a modern business equipped to handle any race of customer with a smile. Id drive the extra 15 minutes. I walked out once a new customer walked in and went up to the counter and got helped ahead of me. I hope this place goes out of business.

Very unwelcoming. They spoke English, they just made it very clear that they would prefer non Mexicans just go away. So we did. Can’t tell you what anything tastes like here. We were the only people in there, there were 2 girls working and they couldn’t be bothered to answer if there was anything watermelon or pineapple flavored. They pointed at the sign with ice cream flavors and said, «do you see it on there?» That’s when we left.

I found this little ice cream shop last year. Was a big fan then! I’d stop by every few weeks on my way home from work — long commute, kids grown, who wants to cook dinner? Hee hee! I would typically order a Bionico, Fresas con Crema or a Mangonada. All great treats brimming with fresh fruit — I couldn’t say enough about the freshness! The girls who work there are also super friendly and helpful! Fast forward… The past couple of times I’ve been in have been a big disappointment. The Bionicos consist of chopped apples, bananas, pineapple, melon(or mango as I order) and strawberries, topped with a sweet cream sauce, coconut, granola and raisins… A complete meal in itself. I hate to have to say this but the freshness has totally declined, the fruit is just way too overripe. Mushy overripe… Gross overripe. Hopefully someone will see this review and get it turned around. On a more positive note… The Mexican ice cream is still delicious! :)

I’m definitely a fan of this United Paleteria y Neveria. I love Mexican ice cream to begin with, but this Tracy location is the best. All the ladies here are friendly and more than willing to let you sample pretty much everything on their menu. =) Very reasonable in price and completely exceeds my expectations. I personally love the Corn & Pistachio flavor. But must make every effort to try the Mangonadas… you won’t be disappointed. I guarantee you will keep going back for more. lol

If you have only $ 2 left in your pocket, do yourself a favor and spend it on a Small Cup serving of delicious Mexican ice cream. Most of the flavors are fruit-based, but you will be pleasantly surprised that even the regular ones(Cookies and Cream, Vanilla, and Chocolate) are very good. You just got to admire the texture and taste of Mexican ice cream. If you’re not familiar with the flavors, the servers will be more than happy to give you a sample. As Cristina P. wrote, give this place a try. You will not be dissatisfied…

I love United! So glad we finally have one in Tracy! So for those who are not familiar with United, it’s basically a Mexican based iice cream shoppe that sells ice creams, shakes and sorbets as well as select(junk) food items. They have a pretty neat assortment of ice creams with flavors, ranging from Rose Petal(Petal de Rosa) to Eggnog(Rompope) and of course the standard flavors such as Vanilla & Bubblegum, etc. They also have the ever so popular Mangonada which is basically a mango sorbet, fresh mango chunks, a chile sauce and a chile powder«straw». However since its so thick, you really just have to eat it with a spoon. It’s a must try, especially if you are familiar with and enjoy Mexican candy. Please note that the ‘chile’ used in the Mangonada is really mild, it’s just for flavor purposes, so don’t be afraid to give it a try! As for the junk food I mentioned earlier, a lot of the food treats are chip like treats topped with something crazy. For example, DoriNachos, which is an individual bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos that is opened up on the side to allow for nacho cheese and other toppings to be put in the bag and then you eat it right out of the bag. I know it sounds crazy but It’s pretty good! They have those kind of treats with different chips and different toppings. I suggest giving it a try. Can’t knock it till you try it! Anyhow, like I said, they have delicious ice cream and that’s usually why my family and I make the trip over to United! Give it a try!
