Always delicious. 6oz sirloin with green beans and a salad really hit the spot for a lighter eater.

As steak restaurants go this Texas Roadhouse is a fun place to go. Peanuts wth tossing their shells on the floor or at each other… However, although we walked in 20 minutes before closing we were greeted with friendly staff and amazing service from our waiter, David. It was fun, enormous amounts of food(we shared everything) and tasty too!

Really disappointed. Drove here from Livermore to have dinner for my friends birthday. Party of 8 seemed simple enough. Got here at 5:30 and they told us they couldn’t seat our party until 8:30. Yet the place isn’t packed. The lady at the from was rude and not helpful by any means. She told us she could seat our party but they would be different tables. Ok no big deal. EXCEPT they would be on opposite ends of the place. They weren’t helpful by any means, and apparently didn’t want our business.

Steaks you can cut with a butter knife. Ribs that fall off the bone. Bread and cinnamon butter to die for. In a fun, peanut shell on the floor, roadhouse atmosphere. Absolutely love this place! I’ve been to Tracy, Modesto and the one near Sacramento. Consistently awesome!

Texas roadhouse in Tracy is an excellent choice for steak in this area. It’s not quite up to snuff for the bay area locations but it’s plenty good enough. The steak here can be underwhelming, outside of the bone in ribeye which is almost 30 dollars. It’s pricey for this area and it can get you much better in the bay area but for this area, beggers can’t be choosers

So I finally ate here for the first time and I wasn’t quite impressed the way ppl make this place sound. We came in after watching Deadpool(which I suggest you watch) and were sat immediately. I know the peanut shells on the floor are part of the ambiance but I could do w/o it. No, I didn’t take a star off for that. I ordered the 6oz USDA steak meal w/mashed potatoes and country gravy and a Caesar salad since I knew I was gonna be eating a big bfast at Chuck’s the next morning. The potatoes and gravy were good but they didn’t give much which was a bummer since it’s TEXAS Roadhouse I was expecting a big portion. Salad was good, maybe more croutons but no biggie. The bread with the cinnamon butter thing was yummy. As for the steak I ordered it medium and it was basically rare by how red it was(sorry no pic I was hungry). I didn’t complain about it Bc I can eat steak rare. The steak flavor was okay, nothing impressive but then again I got a basic steak so maybe that’s why? I also never received my Lagunitas Beer that I ordered but was billed for it anyway and not even for the right beer. They took it off but still, it wasn’t even busy when we were there. Overall the experience/food was blah, decent, okay, etc. I’ll go again and get a pricier steak or maybe the chicken fried chicken that my friends got, which looked better than what I got for about the same price.

We regularly order fried catfish to go. The people we speak with on the phone are friendly and it’s pretty quick to pick up our order. Actually the servers/hostesses are friendly when we go in the restaurant to pick up too.

Great stop on the way home from Yosemite! With the peanut shells on the floor and the country music in the background, it feels like a good steak house as soon as you step in. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was fast. The bread rolls they bring out as soon as you sit down are amazing. They’re most like hawaiian sweet rolls and the butter on the side is like cinnamon frosting. The rolls were soft with a crispy top and were delicious. Don’t fill up on them though! We got rattlesnake bites as an appetizer and they were great although not very much what I expected. I was craving something similar to jalapeño poppers, but as it states in their description, the rattle snake bites have minced jalapeño pepper and is mostly cheese in fried dough. The dough is thin so it’s more like eating fried cheese balls. The chipotle sauce on the side was also good. Good appetizer, but I would have like more jalapeño. Entrée: Full rack of ribs($ 21) to include 2 sides to split for us. The waitress brought out a second plate for us. We chose the caeser salad and fries. The salad came out with our entrée. Typical caesar salad with dressing, parmesan cheese flakes, and garlic croutons. Good and enough to split for two people, which is what we did. The ribs are amazing. I think the waitress said the ribs are cooked 3 days or it takes 3 days to make or something along the lines of that. I don’t doubt that. They literally fall off the bone as you pick up a rib. So so good. You can’t find bbq like this in the bay area. The sauce was good too, had a bit of a bite but just enough. The meat was tender and juicy and had a good crust from the sauce without tasting burnt. Would definitely recommend. FYI for a full rack, I had 2, my husband had 3 – 4 and there was a good ¼ rack to take home. The fries are longer, wedge type. Very good and seasoned in garlic salt. Fluffy and moist on the inside. Overall, a great place to stop for lunch or dinner.

I should preface this review by stating that in general, I am a fan of Texas Roadhouse. For a huge chain, the steaks are almost always good, the BBQ chicken is a fav, and I eat the peanuts like it’s my job. My visit to the Tracy, CA location, however, was not great. I ordered the chicken critter salad from the early/lunch menu, which is a salad with [supposedly] crispy chicken strips. In actuality, the chicken strips were rubbery, especially the skin. The chicken strips were evidently cooked, frozen, and then reheated(read: not fresh. I.e., gross). In addition, there was so much egg on the salad that when combined with the limp chicken, it tasted like an egg sleeve. Not sure I will return to the Tracy Texas Roadhouse, but will definitely avoid the chicken critter salad if I do.

Got here around 2:30 on a Saturday — 15 minute wait was about more around 25 no biggy — get called for our table while walking to table asked to wait a minute and left standing in busy isle(staff coming from kitchen — guests coming and going) — hostess comes back asks us to wait a minute tables where being cleaned and separated from large party — left standing for 10 minutes finally seated in bar area at a booth. Should have made sure table was ready before leaving us standing in walk way. Finally seated waitresses in bar area very nice and attentive. Half my combo dish was brought out — missing ribs — had them a couple minutes later — my steak was buried in mushrooms and onions. Went to restroom and staff standing my kitchen entrance chatting — one woman chafing turned around and almost knocked me off my feet bumping into me so hard. Not a appropriate place to stand around chatting about their tables and schedules. Bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in a day or more trash on floor — one stall clogged up.

This is an update and based solely on front of house. Us and multiple people have been calling for 45 min to call for a party of 12 and either they dont answer or just pick up phone and hang up. Very very unprofessional. One of our party stoped by just to say why cant you answer you phone there excuse was we have two lines if to many people call it cancels itself out. This person must be an idiot as that is not possible Corporate will be getting a nice complaint also

Ate here a few times already & always came out satisfied. My best favorite are the fruity coctail drinks & bread buns«sweet & moist», spread some cinnamon butter on those buns! Yum-yum, «I say». Most in the menu are good, except for the side order of green bean vegetables, too salty. The seasoned side rice is nice & tasty. Must try this place for steak, BBQ ribs, drinks & breads buns. Ride your horse & come on down! Don’t forget to wear your cowboy boots.

Until this last visit I have always had a great experience. It was a busy night, the server was nice, There was four of us and not one of us got what we ordered the way we ordered it. Why four stars, Well when I called this to the attention of the Manager she comp’ed all the meals, made the one over that was wrong and she was very pleasant about it. I don’t expect perfection, just accountability. Good Job, Texas Roadhouse.

This place is ok. I’ve always heard a whole lot of whoop-ti-do about it so we tried it last week. The menu looks like that of a Denny’s or Sizzler. Nothing special about the food or cool specialties. I ended up ordering the bacon cheeseburger because nothing else sounded good. It was ok, pretty dry so just slather it with some sort of condiment. My real disappointment though was with the really slow service. The place is kinda big so I’ll cut some slack but still the wait to be greeted and checked on was kinda crazy. The waitresses looked«over it» during all of our interactions. The hostess was energetic though so that’s a plus for the restaurant I guess.

Called ahead to put my name on the list since we wanted beat the weekend crowd. The gentleman on the phone was more than nice and gave off such a positive vibe! Upon arriving we were immediately greeted with smiles and then seated. Our server was quick to take our drinks and food order. She checked in on us a good amount of times necessary but not overwhelming and annoying. I ordered Steak cooked medium with a Cesar Salad and Fresh Vegetables. This particular steak was perfectly cooked! Whoever was the chef today around 4pm deserves a round of applause because this was the best steak I have ever had. My mother also ordered steak and she too mentioned how it was on point. Of course the bread was delicious, we even took some home. Although it’s best when the bread is fresh. Overall, I enjoy coming home to visit family and eat here. I’ve never had a bad experience, even on the days that it’s crowded. They even have patio heaters outside for chilly days when waiting for your table.

Excellent ribs and everything else I’ve tried there. The only problem is that it can get very busy and no one answers the phone when you want to place an order for pick up. They also support our military troops, which is commendable!

Tired of reading my 5 star reviews for TRH? Well then, eat there and write your own! :) If you like steak, this is the most reasonably priced place for the quality. Today was a great day for a steak dinner. I had a coupon for a free appetizer and a Limelight deal that I paid $ 10 for $ 20 worth of food! So it was deal day! I was seated after about a 5 minute wait. My server promptly came to my table asking what I wanted to drink. I ordered iced tea and told her that I was ready to order my meal… after all I have been there a million times before. A side of ribs for the appetizer, dinner salad w/extra bleu cheese, baked potato w/extra sour cream and butter and a 16 oz cowboy cut sirloin, medium. After about 5 minutes the ribs arrive. I waited quite a while for my salad to show up. But I am never in a rush when i go to a restaurant(REST-aurant). I go for a leisure dining experience. If I were in a rush, I would get fast food. I ate the ribs, those yummy rolls with cinninam butter and my salad. And then waited. and waited… and waited. I was not in a hurry. I was playing on my phone and people watching. About 45 minutes later I told my server to package my dinner ‘to go’ since I was already full from what I ate. She apologized for the wait saying that the kitchen lost my ticket. OK, I can handle that. Not a problem. She packaged my dinner and brought it to my table saying that the Manager Liz said not to charge me for my meal because of the extended wait. Liz did not know at the time what that nice gesture meant to me. Today was my daughter’s birthday. She passed away just before Christmas last year. Liz, your kindness and consideration today meant more than you will ever know. It made my day! Thank you. Texas Roadhouse is still my favorite restaurant. Everybody in Stockton needs to write to TRH corporate office so they will build one locally. It is not out of the question!

Came here a week ago on a Saturday night at around 9pm. Interesting place, for one the floor is covered in peanut shells, so don’t come in here with flip flops unless you’re okay with peanut shells between your toes. The service is friendly, the place is rather large, and it has lots of character. From the shell covered toes to the country music they play, it’ll make you feel like you’re really in a roadhouse in Texas. They serve you these sweet glazed rolls with cinnamon butter and it doesn’t look like much, but these rolls were probably my favorite part. They literally taste like a cinnamon roll! We ordered the onion ring cactus flower, steak kabob, prime rib, and their fall-off-the-bone ribs. Normally I would go through each item and say their pros and cons, but literally all of the items we ordered were overly salty we could only finish about half. Especially the rice we ordered, we definitely did not touch more than a spoonful. Although the taste the far off, the ribs and steak were soooo tender. Another plus side was that they serve marshmallow covered sweet potatoes. I’ve never seen anyone else serve this and it was delicious!
