My family and I really enjoy coming here. Professor Ica Medina is a great teacher, who emphasizes technique over strength. He has a lot of great experience and stories to share (he trained and earned his black belt with the Machados). Classes are small, so you get a lot of attention. Ica is great at adjusting all lessons for beginning, intermediate and advanced students. My wife and son also train here as well.
This is a very relaxed atmosphere, where everyone supports each other and is eager to learn. Let’s roll!!!

Best place to train BJJ in Torrance. Very good atmosphere. Ica is down to earth and a very intricate instructor, always reminding us to us technique over strength.
His kids classes are great too. Whenever I swing by in the afternoon, the kids are always having fun and enjoying their time there.
I really like this school. 5 stars!

Phenomenal instruction, clean facility, helpful and experienced training partners… #NuffSaid Professor Ica Medina is a very kind and seasoned Jiu-​Jitsu instructor and practitioner. Still competing to this day, Ica (hee-​cah) exhibits a deep-​seeded passion for the art and it is evident by his attention to detail and patience. Consider yourself lucky if you live in the area.

My friend told me to come train here and I’m really glad I did. Great place to train, great atmosphere, and great people. Ica was very accommodating and showed us some cool, efficient moves. He’s definitely a good black belt to learn from.
