The first reason I come here is for the staff. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. The second reason is the food. The salads and sushi are always fresh and taste amazing. There are always different daily specials to keep it interesting too. Couldn’t recommend this enough!

I come here a lot with my co-worker for breakfast, coffee, or lunch. I’ve had quite a bit from their menu so I’ll recommend my favorites Breakfast– get the breakfast burrito! I prefer mine with bacon. It includes eggs, fresh pico, fresh cut potatoes and the bacon wrapped in a big flour tortilla. Very reasonable price and full of flavor! Lunch– definitely try the bulgogi baguette. Perfectly cooked beef with their sweet bulgogi sauce topped with cheese, lettuce and tomatoe. So good! It’s also a little market with drinks, snacks, candy, tea, coffee, and even greeting cards. The owner is super friendly and one of the reasons we always come to this particular café in the Lincoln Center. Give them a try!

Our office just moved to this business park a few weeks ago and I’ve been here about 3 times. Each time I’ve been excited to go, but leave underwhelmed. The staff is super friendly and they are really quick, but I’m vegetarian and so far I guess I haven’t picked the right items. The yakisoba is pretty generic tasting and over-peppered with shredded cabbage and carrots for vegetables. I paid $ 1 for extra«grilled veggies» and all I got was extra cabbage and carrots. I did find what looked like the end of a broccoli stem, but no actually broccoli. Not very flavorful. The tofu doesn’t seem to be prepared; it’s just sort of heated and covered with sauce. I LOVE yakisoba so perhaps this is why it’s so disappointing. I also had the fried rice, but all I could taste was pepper. Sad face… The salad that comes with the bento boxes is just iceberg with some carrots and maybe cabbage and they use ranch. I was expecting that yummy carrot/ginger dressing. Miso is great but it’s only miso paste and sometimes little tofu bits; no seaweed or green onion. They have a ton of sandwiches and also sushi options. I love both of those items, so they’re next on my things to try. It takes a lot for me to give up on a restaurant.

Quick legit noodle & rice bowls. My current fave is the spicy-chicken yakisoba. This place seems to have a lot of regulars so I am surprised there is not more Unilocalling. Also, this is where to get a copy of Willamette Week if you work at Lincoln Center.

If you are doing business in Lincoln Center, a business office complex across from Washington Square, there are several breakfast/lunch choices within the center. Lincoln Center Café is Asian operated and serves a mix of Japanese and traditional offerings. They make a nice Terriyaki bowl and a decent sandwich. I usually go with The Eastern Lunch Box for $ 6.95 which consists of a bowl of Miso soup, a small salad, rice, half a California Roll, and your choice of 2 of the following items with a nice sauce over them: eel, salmon, tofu, shrimp, or chicken. For the sandwich eater, they offer for the same price a sandwich, with chips and a drink – standard topping choices. They will make sushi to order at very reasonable prices – $ 3.00 for rolls, $ 2.00 for 2 piece nigiri… but the selection is pretty limited. Again, a good economic, quick stop if you are in the area.
