The two stars are for friendliness of the employes only. I ordered two bags of pretzel bites. Well some of the bites were old and stale. I didn’t even want them because I wasn’t sure which one were the fresh bites or the old ones. This place need to not be cheap and mix fresh with old. Just throw the old ones out. Nasty. The two store must have the same owner because both store are bad. I like the stores outside of the The Oaks mall.

This is the Wetzel’s Pretzels that is located inside the mall. Sometimes it gets crowded, but usually the line moves fast. The employees are nice and friendly. The area is a counter only, but it is always kept clean and stocked with straws and napkins. The pretzels are really good. They have several varieties to choose from including plain, salted, pepperoni, and jalapeño among others. I particularly enjoy the Pretzel Bitz. The pretzels at this location are always fresh and the cheese sauce is kept warm. They offer sodas and lemonade, regular or frozen. It is conveniently located upstairs near the escalator. They have tables located just beyond the store in the mall area that you can sit at to eat your goodies! 22⁄100

I was at the mall and needed some lunch so I stopped at Wetzel’s Pretzels and got a «cheese dog» and an almond crunch pretzel. The cheese dog is a big, tender juicy hot dog wrapped in pretzel dough and then dusted with parmesan cheese. It was very good if you like this sort of thing. I’m not really a hotdog fan but wanted some protein and this was a very well made dog. It’s made ahead of time and sits under a lamp but mine did not seem worse for that — still juicy and tasty. Zero spicy on a scale of 0 to 10. I decided to try the almond crunch pretzel instead of my go-to cinnamon and boy am I glad I did. It was the BOMB! The butter and sugar and almonds all come together SO amazingly. It’s sweet and soft and fantastic. I would get it again in a heartbeat. When the nice lady behind the counter asked me if I wanted a drink I almost said yes, but then saw that they have Pepsi instead of Coke so I said no. :( Total for cheese dog and almond pretzel was about $ 9. Seemed a little high but I’m definitely full!

I love the Jalaroni and their cheese dip. I believe there’s something in their ingredients that I’m allergic too as sometimes I get itchy after eating one of these bad boys which is why I only eat her every once and a while.
