This location messed up my to go order with incorrect items. Didn’t fund out until I had left. They had 1 job, couldn’t pull it off. Pretty disappointed after looking fwd to eating here while traveling in from out of town.

It’s really strange to read all these negative reviews about the service. I guess I am fortunate? The ordering process is simple. The wait is less than 5 minutes. The service is with a smile. Not a fake smile. But a genuine smile from someone who’s happy to help you smile. The food is fresh and delicious. Nova Lox!!! Sometimes they run out of my onion bagel but I look at the time of day and understand that there is more selection earlier in the day. This is my favorite bagel place in town. =)

Really liked this place. Even though they are really slow at getting the orders done. But last time there I had a hair in my bagel and cream cheese. Since I have no hair I know it wasn’t mine. Will probably not be going back now.

this is NOT the only chain i’ve been to, there’s one near Cal Tech/Pasadena, I never had problem with them. But with this, I’ve given many chances. suggestion for people going there, go there when you are NOT so hungry, so you can bear the long wait due to they’re just not efficient making the orders out. Their check out stand changes by the minute, sometimes at this stand sometimes at other stand, facilitation simply out of logics, confuse people and standard is just not there. I noticed alot of people complaint selection of bagels, i agreed, this food is meant for morning rush service, especially you are next to a Starbucks, people get coffee then bagels. Key word is ‘rush’, how long do you think people willing to wait for a bagel and need to turn out correctly? figure that out. Also variety of bagels, study flow of business would know when to make more bagels for customers. menu is great and enticing but if some complicated menu on the bagel should have one staff specialize instead of checking on the menu to figure out ‘what’s in the bagel ’ as they start prep and make it. that slow down the process of the order, specialty bagels and simple made bagels can be divided among staff who do just one type or another. and store cleaniness is also important, to refill stuff outside at the bar when things ran out during morning rush. Manager should know his/her job, not me, but this hasn’t been run efficiently to make everyone happy. time to review and re-org. I am often hungry when i need food, so hard for me to crave a bagel to wait 30 minutes for an order. i’d changed my mind by then with so many others offers near by.

Update from last visit. They’ve redone the place. Much better organized. Less chaotic. I took a star off since the issue of not having the most popular bagels persists. They’re out of Everything bagel usually. But overall significant improvement. They need more people making the bagels. Tipping on credit card is still missing.

I really like the bagels here but there are 2HUGE problems that need fixing: 1) the fact that many of the bagels are always sold out… It’s «jackpot» to come in and be able to get a six cheese AND a sourdough in the same trip… Which is ridiculous. If you sell more of particular bagels, make more of those bagels. There’s always a boatload of sesame and good egg so if you love those you’re in luck… Otherwise good luck finding what you want«in stock.» 2) They just did a partial renovation/redesign of the counter and drink area of this location and frankly it’s no better than it was before. There’s not enough room to order and wait to pick up with the seating area also there. The flow of the transaction and the comfort of customers not having to squeeze post other customers appears to not be a primary business concern(when it should be). I wish I could rate this place higher but I just can’t give it 3 stars with these major issues.

GEORGE, the manager is absolutely FANTASTIC! He makes you feel part of the community and has great customer service skills! He is almost always on the front line helping out, being a team player, and leading by example which is rare these days. The flavored brewed coffee is wonderful! I do agree with the one Unilocaler regarding the over baked bagels. I have addressed this with the staff and just ask them to lightly toast them.

I come here usually twice a week. Pros: — Bagels are usually alright. — Manager is friendly and provides great customer service. — The teenagers aren’t particularly amazing at customer service, but can’t really fault them for that. No customer service issues ever. Cons: — This store recently went through a renovation. It looks pretty much exactly the same. — They now have 4 registers, however you have to walk past the bagels, order, and then go to a separate register, usually walking by people. People coming in are usually confused. It’s inefficient and backwards. — About 20−30% of the time the bagel is overbaked or overtoasted. I can’t get a decent bagel anywhere close to here, so not much choice but to keep coming here. hopefully they’ll improve.

I had no choice but to give this place 1 star after eating here today. I ordered a egg bagel with turkey sausage, cheese. So, after I got it and took a bite, it was dry with no dressing. I was told that is how they come unless I tell them. Ok, they gave me some packets of mayo to put on myself. After the next bite of my bagle with mayo on it, the sausage tasted nothing like turkey and it was dry and if that was not enough the cheddar cheese was very oily so much so that the oil leaked onto the tray. Even the bagel was semi hard must have been an old bagel. The only positive was my diet coke — that was perfect. Otherwise a disgusting meal. I use to come here all the time and my previous visit was the same result with bad food! What happened to Noahs? Drive the extra 10 minutes north or so and head on to Old New York Deli and Bakery in Camarillo off Los Posas. They have the best of everything. Their Carrot cake is to die for! The bagels are awesome too and fresh every day. At least there they ask what you would like on your bagel.

I made an account just so I could write a review because I honestly need to stop these 1 star haters!!! I’ve been going to this Noah’s since I was a wee lad and they literally have the greatest bagels in the Los Angeles area. Nothing compares. NOTHING! Some of my best childhood memories is coming to Noah’s every Sunday after church. Anyways, naysayers say there’s terrible service, but I’ve honestly never had a problem. And even if the service is a little wonky, isn’t the GODLY bagels really the only thing that matters? People, I Sware these are the best bagels you’ll ever have in LA. Don’t be a high maintenance drama queen like the rest of these Ninnys and get yourself a dozen good bagels!

Sunday Nov. 15, we received an ad for $ 6. a dozen Bagels on Every monday ’till Christmas… at Einstein’s Bagels! Noah’s & Einstein’s are the same company… Today, Monday Nov. 16… around 11:30 am we went to our local Noah’s and presented the ad. The kids behind the counter were unaware of it but pointed to the so called manager, George, and said he should know. George walks over, takes a quick look and says«It’s no good, that ended in October»! I said«NO I just received it yesterday»…Then he looks again and said«Oh It’s Einstein’s we’re Noah’s and not the same place anymore!» I said since when? He couldn’t answer… he was obviously lying and he had a major attitude… and had decided he just wasn’t going to honor their ad!!! Why send out ads you won’t honor… Well they ain’t gonna get any business from our family anymore either!!!

I always order the same thing — Toasted bagel with cream cheese. Nothing too difficult. Yet EVERYTIME they forget to toast the bagel. I repeat myself several times when I order, but they have yet to get it right. Yesterday was the last straw. They not only forgot to toast the bagel, but they plopped the cream cheese on the bagel and didn’t even spread it around, so half the bagel didn’t have cheese on it. — I’ll find a new place to eat.

After relocating from NY to LA, we didn’t find any good bagel shop and we accepted it as a fact. However, we were pleasantly surprised with Noah’s Bagel. No, it’s nothing like NY bagels, not in the least. Though if you accept this as a fact and don’t set NY as a reference(despite all their NY interior design theme and pictures) it’s an excellent bagel. I give their bagels four stars, three stars for the cheese and one star for trying to be a NY bagel shop. It’s a bit more Canadian than NY but tasty nonetheless.

This place tends to forget your sides on to-go orders. Happened to me twice. Thought I would learn the first time. Check your bags. Frustrating.

Try the California Chicken — excellent with thin slices of cucumber, warm chicken, lots of flavor(plus one side of your choice) all for $ 7 and some change — a very good light summer sandwich… Bottomless ice coffee or teas and they have a VERYGOOD lemonade!!!

Love their bagels but the service is horrendous!!! This place went to crap about a year or two ago when their best employees left. Get it together!!! I’ve been late to multiple events while trying to grab a quick breakfast here. I am sitting here waiting for my 3 bagels now for about 20+ minutes now.

Ok. Great brand but this branch is just terrible. Dirty tables, dimwitted staff. This is right next to a Starbucks so you’d think they’d learn a few things. 1. So slow! I saw an irate customer walk out as I arrived and they didn’t even notice. I’d fire the manager for that. 2. Dirty bathroom with no paper towels to dry hands. I told the kid and they didn’t change it even by the time I left. 3. Cream/milk for coffee is left in the fridge not on the counter. Why? No cinnamon on counter like Starbucks/Peets/Coffee Bean has, just noticing some easy things to fix. All said, the bagel was basic but pretty good hence 2 stars. But bad experience for myself and others. Take a few hours and try to replicate the Starbucks experience next door Mr Manager!

Again just like last time, great bagels but the staff is very cold, indifferent, unfriendly, and basically just does not care about the customers. Dear Mr. Noah, you need to train your staff on basic customer service. Maybe try hiring some local college or high school kids who live in our community; just an idea.

Who are these Unilocal haters dragging down 5 star heaven. Noah’s bagels are the only option for anyone who loves bagels in the LA area. Try their sister company Einsteins — they are awful. A bagel needs to have some substance not the Swiss cheese versions you get elsewhere. Try their peppercorn — so good. Think cheese bacon eggs and the hearty bite of a Noahs bagel and you have to smile. The only thing I’d fix is their coffee dock. It always seems a bit disorganized and missing the milk you want.

Friendly staff, quick service and a clean little store. What more could you ask for? How about some DELICIOUS bagels?! I stopped here to pick up a baker’s dozen for my office and tried their sourdough, honey wheat, and cinnamon raisin. I really liked the sourdough and was disappointed when one of my coworkers took the pretzel one before I did. That looked fantastic too and I think I’ll have to try it next time. The giant box with 13 big fluffy fresh bagels plus two containers of spreads cost $ 15. It was a great deal! This place is popular so there was a little wait, but they take care of customers fast so it wasn’t long before the server was prepping my order and payment was handled fast. The location is a little hard to get to right off the freeway, but easier to turn into coming towards the freeway from further into TO. I’ve stopped here a number of times and always have good experiences. They also make hot breakfast sandwiches with eggs/cheese/sausage etc. and those have been popular at our office as well.
